World Team Poker Players, Celebrities and Amateurs Play in a No Limit Holdem Tournament at the Bike

(Los Angeles, March 5, 2012) World Team Poker players and celebrities lined up on the red carpet to participate in the no limit holdem event at the Bike. Team China's David Chiu, Maria Ho and Rich Zhu attended as did Team Vietnam's Men "The Master Nguyen" Phi Nguyen, Karina Jett, John Phan and David Pham. Also taking part in the event were Team Mexico's Mario Esquerra; Team Lebanon's Dany Joe George and Shannon Elizabeth; Team Armenia's Chris Grigorian, Henry Minasyan, Vahan Sudzhyan; Team Australia's Marsha Waggoner, Team Iran's Reza Golestani; Team Czech Republics George Kozel and Eric Aude; Team Pakistan's Owais Ahmed; and Team Philippine's Toto Leonidas.

Celebrities in attendance included Mimi Rogers, Adrian Paul, Carl Weathers, Willie Garson, Tony Dennison, Ashton Holmes, Kirk Acevedo, and poker pros Tiffany Michelle, Jeff Madsen and Phyllis Caro. The no limit holdem event kicked off the Bikes 23rd annual Winnin O the Green tournament series. Players received a $100 bounty for each celebrity/pro they knocked out. Liz Medina took home both the first place prize of $30,000 and won a seat on World Team Pokers Celebrity Team at the next World Team Poker Championship Event.
