First priority will be given to working, training, studying parents who live or work in the Surf Coast Shire. All cancellations now require 7 days notice. If less than 7 days notice full fees will be charged unless a medical certificate is presented. Those eligible for CCB will only be charged the discounted fee with an allowable absence credited against your records. Children should bring a packed nutritious lunch, drink bottle with their name on it and enough snacks to last all day. No nut products please. Lunch orders will be available during the program, however there will be no lunch orders on any excursion days. Please note the vending machines will no longer be available for children to access whilst at the program. For excursion days we advise that children cannot bring any spending money. All children must bring along a broad brimmed hat and sunscreen each day of the program in line with our Sunsmart policy. Staff may be required to apply sunscreen to your child for any outdoor activities. This service has been validated for quality assurance by the National Childcare Accreditation Council for outside school hours care. Video footage and photographs may be taken of your child for our ongoing quality assurance accreditation. These images will be for internal/promotional use only. Please contact the Program Manager for more information. We follow Surf Coast Shire guidelines in regards to sustainability, recycling and the local environment. The program may be subject to change due to inclement weather conditions and any unforeseen circumstances. A copy of the Service and Parent Handbook will be available during the program. Parents of children with any special needs should contact the Program Manager prior to the program commencing.

Substantial discounts are available for families who qualify for Child Care Benefit. For example, if you receive 100% CCB and you are entitled to the maximum eligible hours you will only pay $12.72 per day (extra cost applies for excursion days). All new families must provide a current family CRN and individual child CRN for the enrolment process. You need to contact the Family Assistance Office and tell them Surf World Vacation Care Program (organisation ID 160C-33) is the care provider and they will issue you with CRNs. Enrolment Information::

Enrolments for working, training, studying parents who live or work in the Surf Coast Shire will be taken at the Surf Coast Sport & Recreation Centre from Tuesday 13 to Friday 23 March between 9am and 5pm. All other families can enrol from Monday 26 March between 9am - 5pm if vacancies exist. A maximum of 60 enrolments will be taken each day. A maximum of 15 enrolments for the Big Day Out program only. Any 5 year old children must be attending primary school to be eligible to attend the program. Office, email and facsimile bookings with the completed enrolment form will only be accepted. Please note phone bookings will no longer be accepted. All enrolment forms must now be signed by a parent or guardian prior to the program commencing, if not signed we cannot accept your booking. Families with any outstanding fees from a previous program will not be permitted to enrol children until those fees have been paid in full. A late payment fee of $30 will apply to all overdue accounts.

Monday 2 April Roller Disco and Games Day Join us for a day of fun and games! Roll around with your friends at the roller disco (byo skates, scooters) make your own golf course and play minute to win it games who will be the Surfcoast SHP fun and games day champion??? Tuesday 3 April Creative Kids Day Today you can make a 3D portrait, my storey card, jewellery stand or some jewellery. Be creative by painting some of the indoor wall art mural. Come dressed in your most creative or favourite fancy dress outfit! There will be some yummy tuna pasta salad for afternoon tea. Wednesday 4 April All Day Excursion to Aerosport All Stars Gymnastics and Readings Cinema Get ready for some awesome gymnastics fun this morning as we head to Aerosport Allstars Gymnastics. After lunch where off to the movies to see a new release G or PG movie. Bus leaves at 9:00am sharp and returns by 5pm. No lunch orders today. Thursday 5 April Easter Art & Craft Day Make your own Easter basket and joins us for our annual Easter egg hunt! Paint an egg cup, make an Easter bunny frame and make a bird house. Cook up some yummy hot cross buns for afternoon tea!

Fun indoor games all day for the more energetic. Watch a new release movie on the big screen whilst enjoying a yummy afternoon tea treat! Wednesday 11 April All Day Excursion to IMAX Cinema & Melbourne Museum Join us for an eye popping 3D movie at the IMAX Cinema in Melbourne! Then check out the range of amazing exhibits at the Melbourne Museum. Bus leaves at 9.00am sharp and returns by 5.00pm. No lunch orders today. Thursday 12 April Master Chef and Craft Day Make your own chef hat and assist our guest chef in cooking up a storm in the SHP kitchen! Join us as we make some scratch design shapes, badge making and play some minor indoor games. Enjoy the food produced in the kitchen for an afternoon tea party. Friday 13 April Half Day Excursion to Readings Cinema and end of Program Celebration! Join us for a half day excursion to Readings Cinemas in the morning (P or PG movie) as we celebrate the end of the school holidays. Bus departs 9am sharp. After lunch visit the skate park, fun indoor games or just hang out with your friends. All families are invited to join us for a powerpoint presentation of the April program and art show extravaganza in the afternoon. Presentations start at 4pm.

Big Day Out Program for 9-12 year olds

This exciting program will be offered on Monday and Thursday and from 9.30am-4.30pm. (Please note there will be no big day out on 9 April) Staff will supervise and take kids on fun all day excursion activities. The cost will be an extra $20 per day to cover bus hire and entry fees. Please note there will be a cancellation fee of $20 if bookings are cancelled on the day. A maximum of 15 children can be enrolled each day. NOTEbookings must be made during the advertised booking times to secure your place. No spending money to be taken on Big Day Out program. Timetable below may be subject to change with short notice.
