Synopsis:

Chasing Shadows is a short film written and directed by Ocean Citys own Joseph Eulo. The film is centered on a day in the life of little Anthony Heavens, a 9-year-old fatherless boy who wanders the streets, beaches, and boardwalk of a small barrier island in search of himself, his father and his own place in the world. Anthony abandoned by his father at a tender age, is acutely aware of his fathers absence and his mothers violence. After discovering his whereabouts of his father, Anthony sets out to find him. Along the way he must confront the neighborhood bully and outwit a determined truant officer. Will Anthony find his father or will just roam the streets of Ocean City chasing shadows?

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
Chasing Shadows is a Student Film currently in Pre production now searching for cast and crew for the Brooklyn New York shoot on Friday April 20th and Ocean City New Jersey shoot on Saturday April 21, and Sunday, April 22. Seeking: 10 Actors: 3 child actors ages 8 to 11yo, 4 male actors ages 30-40yo, and 3 Female Actors ages 30 to 40. EXTRAS, Girls and Boys ages 6 to 10, and Adults ages 30-50+. Also seeking crewFor NYC Associate Producers, and Production Assistants for Ocean City Associate Producers, and Production Assistants, must have valid DL, car, and knowledge of the Area. 2nd AD, Grips, Gaffers, ACs must be familiar with the Panasonic AF100 camera, Zeiss Primes and light packages; Boom Operator, Wardrobe Coordinator, Set Decorator, Make-up and Hair Stylist, Location coordinator, familiar with Ocean City, and 2nd Unit Crew. He is abused by his mother, ignored by his teacher, bullied by the bigger kids, and deeply feels his fathers absence. He roams the streets and boardwalk of Ocean City, searching, unknowingly, for his own identity. He hates school, loves talking to and feeding the seagulls, and meeting strangers on the boardwalk.
