Introduction We take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as a 100% subsidiary of WRTH Group of companies (Kunzalsau, Germany) and we have christened our company in South India as REINHOLD WUERTH INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED. Reinhold Wuerth India became operational in 2003 with specializing in Industrial Assembly Technology and within a short span we are now a 120 member family serving to our customers in Southern part of India. Evolution of Wrth Group The building up of the Wrth Group is the life's work of Professor Reinhold Wrth, and one of the outstanding business success stories in post-war German history. He has turned the two-man business of his father since 1954, the time of rebuilding after the Second World War, into a worldwide active group with over 416 companies in 86 countries today with a turnover of over 8.8 Billion EUROS as on 2008 figures. The core business of the Wrth Group is the global trade with connecting and assembly technology that is implemented through an international network of group companies.

About our Chairman.. Prof. Dr. h. c. Reinhold Wrth Born on April 20, 1935 in hringen, Reinhold Wrth entered his father's screw wholesale business in Knzelsau in 1949 as second employee and first apprentice. In 1952, he finished his professional training as wholesaler, successfully passing his examination before the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. After the premature death of his father in 1954, Reinhold Wrth took over management of the business at the age of 19. In the decades following, Reinhold Wuerth expanded the regional business into a worldwide operating group of trading companies. Today, the Wrth Group is represented in 86 countries of the world with a sales volume of 8.8 billion Euro in 2008. In 1994, Reinhold Wrth retired from operative management of the Wuerth Group and took over the chair of the company's Advisory Board. Reinhold Wrth is represented on different advisory boards, boards of trustees and is a member of many clubs and associations (among others, he is chairman of the Gesellschaft zur Frderung des Wrttembergischen Landesmuseums e.V., chairman of the citizens' action group "Pro Region Heilbronn-Franken"). The enthusiastic pilot (license as professional pilot/ATPL) and motorcyclist (Harley-Davidson) is married, he and his wife, Carmen, have three children, Marion, Bettina und Markus. Until the end of the summer semester 2003, Prof. Reinhold Wrth headed the Interdisciplinary Institute of Entrepreneurship at the University of Karlsruhe. Reinhold Wrth is honorary doctor and honorary senator of the University of Tbingen and was awarded both the Great Distinguished Service Cross of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Medal of Merit of the state of Baden-Wrttemberg. In 1997, he was made freeman of the city of Erstein (France). In recognition of outstanding merits and commitment to the spreading and communication of French art and culture, Reinhold Wrth was presented the order "Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres" by the French ministry of education and cultural affairs in March 2000. Carmen and Reinhold Wrth were also given the freedom of the city of Knzelsau in April 2003 in appreciation of their commitment to society and culture. In March 2004, Reinhold Wrth was appointed Knight of the Legion of Honor, in April of that year; the Ludwig-Erhard-Foundation Bonn presented him the Ludwig-Erhard-Medal in recognition of his commitment to the free market economy.
