Edexcel International Examinations IGCSE & GCSE-Arabic May/June 2011 Registration Information

Entry Requirements and Procedures


You need to submit the following: 1. EDEXCEL GCSE/IGCSE Entry Form. 2. Registration fees. Fees can be paid in cash or by K-Net. 3. Photocopy of your valid passport and your valid Civil ID. 4. Two recent coloured passport size photographs. You can only register at one centre for any given session. The British Council is not responsible for any clash in timetable that may occur as a result of registering at more than one centre.

Statement of Entry
Statement of Entry, Edexcel Notice to Candidates and Examinations Venue letter will be sent by courier at least two weeks before the commencement of your exams.

Examination Result and Collection of Certificates


The date of the electronic publication of provisional results for the June 2011 examination series is 25 August 2011 and in hard copy format a week after that. Certificates will be available for collection on 31 October 2011.

Special Arrangements and Special Needs


Special arrangements are made to allow candidates with substantial and long-term disabilities gain access to the examination and to demonstrate their attainment in the best possible examinations conditions. Special arrangements for extra time allowance, the provision of specially adapted papers, assistance with reading or writing etc must be mentioned clearly in the registration form or ask British Council Customer Services desk for more details.

EDEXCEL May/June 2011 Exams Processes A step by step Guide
Exam Registration Information
Candidate receives information via the British council, Edexcel Attached Centre or website.

Registration
Candidate fills in registration form and submits it to the British Council before the entry closing date.

Registration Confirmation
At the time of registration, candidate receives a confirmation letter and payment receipt.

Statement of Entry
Candidate receives the original Statement of Entry, Exam Venue details, Edexcel Notice to the Candidates by courier at least two weeks before the start of the exams from the British Council.

Examinations
Written and Practical Exams take place as per the Exam Timetable. Candidate must bring a valid ID and the original Statement of Entry to the Exams Venue.

After exam, Exams Services return all exam papers to Edexcel for marking
including amendments to candidate's names, Special Considerations or notification of special circumstances.

Statements of Result Candidate collects SoR from the British Council end of August 2011.

Enquiries about Results Candidates submit their requests for recheck/remark enquiries.

Certificates Edexcel sends Certificates to the British Council on


31/10/2011. Candidates collect the original Certificates on or after 31/10/2011.
