INFORMATION FOR THE 10TH JUNIOR & 5TH VETERAN ITF TAEKWON-DO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
1. Venue for the above Championship
The 10th Junior & 5th Veteran ITF Taekwon-Do World Championship will take place in Tallinn, Estonia from 20th to 26th Aug. 2012.

2. Sparring Competitions at the Junior Championship

The Sparring Competitions at the Junior Championship will be held with two age groups (age group of 14-15, age group of 16-17) separately in Individual & Team Events. The details for it are below; - The same weight categories are applied to both age groups as laid down in the ITF Tournament Rules. - Individual Sparring Competitions for age group of 14-15 1 male competitor per weight category 1 female competitor per weight category - Individual Sparring Competitions for age group of 16-17 1 male competitor per weight category 1 female competitor per weight category - Team Sparring Competitions Age group of 14-15; 1 male team and 1 female team Age group of 16-17; 1 male team and 1 female team 1

3. Eligibility of age for the Junior Championship

The competitors participating in all ITF Junior Taekwon-Do Championship must be 14-17 years old. It means the participants must not reach 18 years of age on 1st Jan. of the year of Championship and must not be younger than 14 years of age on 31st Dec. of the year of Championship, and must be 1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree ITF black belt certificate holders. --------------------------------------------------------------

ITF EB MEETING TO BE HELD IN CROATIA

The ITF EB Session will take place in Croatia on 19th May 2012 under the auspices of the Croatian ITF Taekwon-Do Federation. The Croatian ITF Taekwon-Do Federation has completed to build the Taekwon-Do Center last year, where all the conditions including the facilities for training and competitions are fully met & perfect. The ITF EB Meeting will be held in this Center and the participants will surely enjoy those facilities during their stay in Croatia. --------------------------------------------------------------

MASTER DAY IN THAILAND

ITF schedules the Master Day in Chiang Mai, Thailand on 4-7 Apr. 2012 under the patronage of the Sasung Company. All the Masters and NGB Presidents wishing to attend this event are welcome. The hotel accommodations with 2 beds and 3 meals a day for only Senior Masters and Grand Masters would be paid by the Sasung Company as its Guest of Honor from 4th to 12:00 oclock at noon on 7th Apr. 2012, however, anybody wishing to have a room all by himself/herself should pay for half of price of the room. The Senior Masters and Grand Masters who will arrive/ depart Thailand before/after the proposed periods must also pay for the hotel accommodations by themselves. The other participants should pay for their hotel accommodations at their own expenses and are therefore requested to contact Grand Master Leong Wai Meng at his e-mail; grandmasterleong@yahoo.com.sg by 10th of next January for the hotel reservation. Otherwise, you would be in troubles to find out hotel by yourselves. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RENEWAL FOR THE RECOGNITION PLAQUE

All NGB Presidents and International Instructors who are running the Dojangs and Schools registered to ITF are hereby reminded to renew your Plaques by the end of next January so that you could keep your Dojangs and Schools remained as the registered one to ITF. Otherwise, those who fail to renew the Plaques for the Dojangs and Schools until the designated periods will lose their normal functions as the Schools endorsed by ITF and the ITF HQ will reject to receive the applications for Dan Certificates from those Dojangs and Schools. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
