To upgrade the AMS Pressure switch and sensor. Refer to Kit BOM (AYY02631) See last page. Wire Cutters, Metric Allen Wrenches, Metric nut drivers.

A. Prepare to remove the AMS switch and sensor Assy. 1. Open and remove the Back Cover. a. b. c. d. e. f. Exit the GUI menu. Shut down the computer, turn off the Dimension. Unplug the Dimension. Caution!! The transformer is alive when the Dimension is plugged in. Be sure it is unplugged!! Remove the (9) M4 button head screws holding the Back Cover in place. Disconnect any fan connections. Place the Back Cover in a safe place out of the way.

2. Removing the old Pressure Switch and old Flow Connector. a. b. Disconnect the Pressure Switch Connector. Refer to figure 1. Undo the (2) M4 nyloc nuts holding the Pressure Switch. Remove the Pressure switch and discard. Refer to figure 1.

Remove the AMS hoses from the Flow Connector. Refer to figure 2. Remove the (2) M5 Socket Head Cap Screws holding the Flow Connector to the Cart frame. Remove and discard old Flow Connector. Refer to figure 2.

Figure 2 B. Install the new Flow Connector with Pressure Switch. 1. Installing the new Flow Connector / Pressure Switch. a. b. c. Mount the new Flow Connector / Pressure Switch using the same (2) M5 screws that held the old Flow Connector. Refer to figure 3. Reconnect the AMS hoses. It may be necessary to replace the tie-wrap on the smaller hose. Refer to figure 3. Connect the wire to the harness where the old Pressure Switch was connected.

2. Installing the Back Cover. a. b. c. Place the bottom edge of the back cover into the Back Cover Retainer. Reconnect any fan connections. Reinstall the (9) M4 screws previously removed. Do not force the screws! Move the cover for the screws to fit.

3. Turn on the Unit. a. b. c. d. e. Plug the Dimension in. Turn the Dimension on. Turn the Computer back on. Open the Dimension Utility, turn on the AMS to verify that the Sensor is working. Close the Dimension Utility.
