Why I Want to Become A Member of AAPG SC UNPAD?

My name is Azifa Alivia Fuadi. I am very excited become a part of Geological Engineering of Padjadjaran University. I am a new student in this faculty. There are many student chapters in here, such as GEMA, AAPG, SEG, HSE, MAAR, GEOCENTRIC,etc. Which one that make me interest to follow is AAPG. AAPG or American Association of Petroleum Geologist is the one of student chapters that consist with Geological Engineering of Padjadjaran University. AAPG is like a community that usually has office centre. The centre of this association is located in Tulsa, Oclahoma. AAPG was born in 1917. This association is a place for people who interested in everything about oil, geothermal, and gases. In addition, we also could take and give some informations that maybe we cant get it if we are not join in this association. Not just that, AAPG also give opportunity for students who interested in petroleum sector. AAPG methods is used with build student chapters in many university in the world and one of them is Indonesia. AAPG SC UNPAD is one of the branch. After I saw background of AAPG, I am interested to join in this student chapter. Beside I am interested in petroleum sector, I want to improve my knowledge about this sector although I am not really understand about this because I havent study but if the opportunity given to me, I will give the best to AAPG SC UNPAD. Many efforts I will try to develop this student chapter, such as holding seminars with invited speakers from outside who experts in this sector and many others.
