Its a brand new year again and I would like to wish all KPGCC members a Happy New Year. I hope that it will be an even better year, not only for all of us individually but for the club as a whole. It seems like only yesterday that we were welcoming the year 2008 and, now, we are already into a brand new year, 2009. Reflecting on the year that has gone by and all the events and happenings at KPGCC, there is no doubt that it was an eventful year indeed. However, we should not rest on our laurels and should continue to work hard towards making KPGCC the premier club not only in Malaysia, but in the region as well. To this end, I would like to appeal to all members to play their part not only by supporting our events, but also by taking care of our beloved club. This is our home away from home and we should treat it as such, not only when playing golf but when using the facilities as well. I am sure all members will agree that the organising committee did a fabulous job in the recent 10th Anniversary Carnival and Dinner & Dance. It was fitting that we celebrated 10 Years of Excellence with two excellent events, and I would like to express my gratitude to everyone involved for all their hard work, and to the members who attended the event, thank you for your support. As you will notice, we have given the first issue of Oasis Permai for 2009 a fresh, new look to reflect the start of a new decade for KPGCC. We hope that you like it and please feel free to forward any suggestions for improvements to the editorial committee. To all Chinese members, Gong Xi Fa Cai, and to all love-birds, young and young-at-heart alike, Happy Valentines Day! Heres to a great 2009 for KPGCC!

First and foremost, permit me to introduce myself for the benefit of those who have yet to meet me. My name is Tang Meng Loon, and I am the new General Manager for KPGCC. I would like to express my appreciation to my predecessor, Mr. Ding Meng Sieng, who contributed tremendously towards the growth and popularity of our beloved club. Mr. Ding must be commended for his tireless efforts and dedication over the years. How time flies! Looking back at the past year, we can indeed be proud of our numerous achievements such as hosting the Maybank Malaysian Open and the Fortis International Challenge. KPGCC also raked up numerous awards including the HAPA Platinum Award 07/08 for Best Golf & Country Club, plus three awards in the Golf Malaysia Magazine Readers Poll 07/08 for Best Maintained Golf Course, 3rd Most Scenic Hole (Hole 2) and Best Golf Course in Malaysia. Members can rest assured that we will continue to improve the golf course in all aspects, to maintain our position as the No. 1 golf course in Malaysia, as well as to enhance the level of services for golf, sports and F&B. In line with our aim to cultivate a family-oriented atmosphere at KPGCC, the club management plans to organise more family gettogethers and sports activities in 2009. I appeal to all members and their family members to come and join us in the true KPGCC spirit. For those of you who attended our 10th Anniversary Dinner & Dance on 16 November 2008, I am sure all of you will agree that it was a night to remember and I would like to congratulate the organising committee on a well done job. My heartfelt appreciation to the club committee, members and staff for helping to make it a memorable year for KPGCC, especially to the Liaison Committee, Golf Committee and Social Committee for their tireless contributions and unwavering dedication. To all members, please let us know if you have any ideas on how to improve our club, and we will certainly take into consideration any suggestions that are feasible. In this internet era, it is imperative to have a strong online presence and it was with this in mind that we recently revamped our website. Log on to www.kotapermai.com.my to check it out, and find out the latest golf and sports calendar, social events, F&B promotions and important announcements. There is also a digital version of Oasis Permai on the website, called E-OASIS, so members will be able to read the newsletter online or even download it. Finally, I would like to wish all members who celebrate Chinese New Year, Gong Xi Fa Cai, and to one and all, Happy Valentines Day! Tang Meng Loon

KPGCC 10TH ANNIVERSARY GOLF MATCH

KPGCC Hits the Big One-O

MARKING THE OCCASION WITH WHAT WE DO BEST: GOLF!
What better way to celebrate the birthday of one of Malaysias premier golf clubs than through a day-long 10th birthday party. Kicking off the joyous day on November 16 was the 10th Anniversary Golf Challenge 2008, with 107 golfers taking part in the Sunday morning game. The event concluded on a happy note as our very own handicap subcommittee chairman, Gilbert Low, was announced as the gross winner of the day with a score of 81. The nine-handicapper happily claimed a TaylorMade golf bag, MST voucher worth RM250 and a trophy. Abd Razak Yahya (12) was just as happy as Low, emerging as the overall winner with a nett stableford score of 38 points. He received a MST voucher worth RM350 and a trophy. Frankie Choo (15) and Stephen Pang (16) also finished with 38 points but were placed second and third respectively after a countback. They earned themselves MST vouchers worth RM300 and RM250 respectively, while Choo also walked away with a trophy. The event, strictly for members only, also catered for new golfers and nongolfers via a putting competition held at Practice Green A.

KPGCC 10TH ANNIVERSARY CARNIVAL

Fun-filled Day for All

ONE YEAR OLDER FOR KPGCC BUT STILL YOUNG AT HEART
While golfers competed in the 10th Anniversary Golf Match, their non-golfing spouses and kids had their own fun at the 10th Anniversary Carnival. With the carnival loons on the loose, kids and parents alike were entertained by clowns, KPGCC mascots, magic shows and even stilt walkers. If that wasnt enough, various activities such as archery, pony riding, petting zoo, sand art, caricature-drawing and face-painting added to the fun. Some families walked away with wet clothes but huge smiles on their faces as they participated in the water telematch games in the morning. The fun does not stop there as kids also took part in the drawing and colouring contests. Parents who wanted some time for themselves attended the cooking demonstration at the Poolside Caf. All day long, DJ blasted his music machine to keep the atmosphere lively and everyone upbeat. Not forgetting our social responsibilities to the society, KPGCC invited a total of 60 kids from both the Compassion House Orphanage and Johan Setia Orphanage. The kids enjoyed the carnival and went back to their respective homes with a big smile on their faces. For those who worked up an appetite while having fun at the

KPGCCS 10TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION PROCEEDS INTO WEE HOURS

KPGCC staff, members and guests showed their wild side as they let their hair loose and celebrated KPGCCs 10th birthday during the classy Gala Dinner and Dance on November 16. Following the 10th anniversary golf game and carnival earlier in the day, the Gala Dinner and Dance commenced at 7pm with cocktails. Members and guests then took their seats in the elegantly-decorated Permai Room, where they enjoyed a sumptuous fusion dinner. It proved to be a night to remember as guests enjoyed entertaining performances by the Paper Dolls, belly dancer, live band and even Tom Jones impersonator. One of the highlights of the night was the two-part lucky draw that put smiles on the guests faces as names were called out. With a smile on their faces and a full belly, guests danced the night away, taking home with them an everlasting memory of a great night!

INAUGURAL CORPORATE CHALLENGE RAISES RM286K FOR IJN
There is more happiness in giving than in receiving, and this was certainly the case in the afternoon of October 26, 2008 when RM286,000 was raised from the Malaysian Golf Digest Corporate Challenge in aid of IJN (National Heart Institute) Foundation held at KPGCC. The event was graced by the presence of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Muhibuddin Shah, who presented the mock cheque to the Chairman of the IJN Foundation, YBhg Toh Puan Dato Seri Dr Hjh Aishah Ong. Also present was the Chairman of the Blu Inc Group, YBhg Dato Ibrahim Nor. Ahmad Fuad Wahab (16) of OEL Realty Holdings Sdn Bhd emerged as the winner of the individual category with a score of 39 stableford points. The fight for second position was a close one, with Mohd Zaid Ibrahim (5) of Solar Alert Sdn Bhd edging Hisham Endut (8) on count back after both golfers scored 38 points. The Sunday morning tee-off saw a full field Charitable parties raised a total of RM286,000 of 128 participants taking to the fairways. The registration fee was RM6,000 for corporate teams (four persons per flight), RM1,500 for individuals and RM1,200 for IJN Foundation members. Each participant also received a handsome goodie bag. The funds collected from the inaugural event will go towards improving the quality of medical care for heart patients in Malaysia. Specifically, the IJN Foundation will use the money to fund 18 needy patients and also to purchase support machines to help save lives. Amongst the many sponsors who joined in to support for the challenge was Gamuda Berhad, DRB-Hicom Berhad and AvantGarde Marketing. Other sponsors included Lexus (holein-one), MST Golf, Lab Series, Kenko Reflexology & Fish Spa and DKSH Malaysia, just to name a few.

AGONGS TEAM TAKES ON THE GOVERNMENT OF TERENGGANU IN FRIENDLY MATCH
KPGCC was once again graced with the presence of His Royal Highness Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin on November 22, 2008 in a tournament between SPB Yang Di-Pertuan Agong team and Terengganus State Government team which was led by Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Tun Datuk Seri Utama Mohd Khalil Yaakob. The two point start saw His Royal Highness leading his team at tee box one and Tun Khalil leading his team at tee box 10. After an exhausting round of golf, all 43 golfers retreated for lunch and the prize giving ceremony. YBhg Haji Mohammad Pehimi Yusoff (19) was announced as the winner as he shot 43 while the director general of the National Sports Council, YBhg Dato Zolkples Embong (18) took second position with a score of 42. VANDALISM/GOLF COMMITTEE MESSAGE

Vanish Vandals
Recently, it has come to our attention that our beloved club hasnt been up to par due to uncooperative parties. Problems such as ball marks and non replacement of divots are making it harder for others to enjoy an uninterrupted round of golf. Outside the course, the sports changing room lockers have also been vandalised by irresponsible parties. We urge both members and guests to take care of our club while in the vicinity. Your co-operation is much appreciated.

MESSAGE FROM THE GOLF COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN

Id like to wish all a very happy and prosperous New Year. Hope the New Year will bring good health, prosperity and good scores. Id like to wish a belated congratulation to Mr. Tang Meng Loon, as the new General Manager of Kota Permai. We look forward to another good year of continued support and commitment by all for the betterment of the club. Our year end Bridgestone Permai Classic ended the year with record participation and support from members. This was in spite of heavy rain throughout the previous night that lasted until early morning. Nevertheless, thanks to the maintenance crew, the course was again in excellent condition resulting in low scores, except that it was played under the preferred lie rule. Based on the response, it is going to be an annual affair. Your committee, based on the feedback of members, may change the format of play in the annual club championship so that a true champion will emerge. Watch out for the latest update once the discussion is finalised. Of late, members have become increasingly impatient due to slow play. Please report or call the course marshals if you encounter such problem. But at all costs, do not take the law into your own hands. We have received official complaints of such incidences and we are forced to take disciplinary action. Abusive and vulgarities are also being exchanged and are very unbecoming of this gentlemans game. Fortunately, these incidences are isolated and most members are a gentleman. Happy Golfing & Happy New Year. NG SAY HOE

BRIDGESTONE

Two Birds, One Stone

TWO CHALLENGES PLAYED SIMULTANEOUSLY AT BELOVED CLUB
Despite heavy rain the night before, both the Bridgestone Golf Challenge 2008 and Permai Classic Challenge 2008 still went underway on December 14. The seemingly endless shower of rain miraculously came to a halt as morning resides. With a great staff at hand, the course was close to an immaculate state as 128 golfers zoomed off in their buggies to their respective tee box. As the golfers came rolling back on their respective buggies, it was time for the prize-giving ceremony. Split into three categories, A, B and C Medal, the Bridgestone Golf Challenge saw a neatly ranged finishing score. The A Medal, for handicap 0-12, Jahanath A/L Muthusamy (11) carded a 65 and was named the winner while scoring just one-stroke behind Jahanath was Khoo Gee Seng (12). Same case as Khoo, Sharul Zaman Ahmad (9) was just short of one-stroke, falling behind Khoo with a score of 67 to win on count back. Ricky Wong Chin Hock (18) pencilled in a 64 to make him the winner of the B Medal category, for handicap 13-18. Runner-up, Lam Fai Meng (18), carded a 65 while Lim Heng Her (18) finished short of one-stroke from Lam with a score of 66. Shaharim Ngah Marzuki (21) was called upon as the winner of the C Medal category, for handicap 19-36, as he heads the pack with a score of 63. Chok Ng Seong (19) was named runner up as he fell behind by three-strokes while being just a stroke ahead of Albert Yesudian (20) who went on to claim third place. The Permai Classic winners were divided into nett, gross and novelty. The gross winner of the challenge was Jimmy Chia (2) who carded a 72 while the runner-up, Ng Eng Swee (6), concluded his game with a 73. Shaharim was seen as a double winner as he pencilled a 63 in the Permai Classic challenge, being nine-strokes under par 72. While Ricky may have won the B Medal in the Bridgestone challenge, we had to settle for second place as he came in seven-strokes under par. In the novelty category, the nearestto-pin at Hole 14 was taken by Albert who managed a distance of two-feet six-inches. In the nearest-to-line at Hole 12, Bong Der Liangs attempt stopped at one-inch. Charlie Lau Thean Chye was given the title for the longest drive at Hole 1 as his powerful shot was recorded at an astounding 295-meter. With a record number of participants and the endless support from the club members, the event was deemed a success

GOLFERS FROM GAMUDA BERHAD HAVE A GREAT TIME IN ANNUAL GAME
It was camaraderie first and competition second as golfers from Gamuda Berhad teed it up with KPGCC staff in the Gamuda Annual Golf 2008 on November 1. A total of 48 golfers took part in the fun-filled event, played on system 36 nett stableford format. In the team event, Gamudas Senior Group General Manager, David Wong Choo Ong (9) and KPGCCs very own Zainurin Jaafar (11) enjoyed a great start to their weekend when they emerged as champions. With combined total score of 72 stableford points, David Wong and Zainurin edged the runner-up pair of John Yong Lian Chong (18) and Ubull A/L Din Om (12) by one point. The tournament also featured an individual category, with Major Chan Wan Yeong (10) grabbing the top spot on 38 points. Lawrence Tan (10) also came back with 38 points but had to be content with runner-up honours after a countback. Tan Chee Yew (22) took third place on countback from Tee Kok Peng (12) and MMC Gamuda Regional General Manager, Szeto Wai Loong (9), after all three men scored 36 points. Meanwhile, KPGCCs new GM, Tang Meng Loon, along with Alan Kee, Saw Wah Theng and Richard Lim Kim Ong, walked away as winners in the novelty categories. GAMUDA CELEBRATES BACK-TOBACK FESTIVALS THE MALAYSIAN WAY, WITH JOINT OPEN HOUSE AT KPGCC
A celebration for all at Gamudas DeepaRaya Open House

It was truly a festive occasion when KPGCC hosted the Gamuda DeepaRaya Open House on October 23. In previous years, the Gamuda open house was usually held at the headquarters in Petaling Jaya. This year, to make things different, it was held at KPGCC and the Gamuda staff were whisked via chartered buses to our club. The open house was held at the Permai Ballroom over lunch, which was a really festive and sumptuous spread. The open house was graced by the presence of Gamuda Berhad Chairman, YBhg Tan Sri Dato Ir Talha Haji Mohd Hashim, along with five directors; YBhg Tan Sri Dato Seri Dr Haji Zainul Ariff Haji Hussain, YAM Raja Dato Seri Eleena Raja Azlan Shah, Goon Heng Wah, Saw Wah Theng and Chow Chee Wah. After eating their fill and enjoying the break, it was back to work for everyone, but certainly with uplifted hearts and minds.

Final Tee
A FOND, GOLFING FAREWELL TO FORMER GM DING MENG SIENG
When the cats away, the mice will play but in this case, the cat played along! KPGCCs former GM, Ding Meng Sieng, was treated to a farewell golf competition on November 10, in which KPGCC staff golfers and non-golfers alike had the time of their lives. 37 golfers took part in the morning game, while for the nongolfing staff, a putting competition was held. After a tiring but enjoyable round, everyone adjourned for lunch, during which a video and slide presentation was shown in honour of Mr. Ding and his many years of exemplary service. Maganthiran A/L Muniandy (11) was named as the gross winner with an impressive score of 79. In the nett event, played in stableford format, Bong Der Lian (8) came in first with a score of 35 points, edging runner-up Sathiyan A/L Ayasamys (7) on countback. Zainurin Jaafar finished third with 33 points. Jay (24) climbed to the top spot in the female/beginner category with a commendable 33 points, with runner-up Ismail (24) two points adrift. Nabila Wennie was ecstatic as she was announced as the winner of the putting competition, nailing an even par 15. Ahmad Faiz and Mohd Fadly Jama settled for second and third place respectively. In any sports there is bound to be a winner and a loser and for this special competition the losers of each category were forced to drink a pitcher, filled with either beer or coke. The three big gulpers of the day were Arunasalam (main category), Mohd Irwan (beginners category) and Tammy, for their putting failures! On behalf of everyone at KPGCC, we bid Mr. Ding a fond farewell and wish him success in everything he does. Thank you for all the wonderful years as a wonderful GM!

October Road
MONTHLY MEDAL PARTICIPANTS MORE AGGRESSIVE
The monthly competition, the Monthly Medal, usually poses as a big challenge for most golfers as their competitors steps it up a notch every time. On October 12 participants went all out to show their competitive side and the end results of the day were surprisingly close in nearly all categories. Participants were divided up into categories which vary according to their handicaps. The four categories were the A Medal (handicap zero 12); B Medal (handicap 13 18); C Medal (handicap 19 24) and a Ladies Medal (handicap zero 36). In the A Medal category it was a close call as Khoo Gee Seng, Frankie Choo and Willie Lim all happily retreated from the golf course as they all pencilled a 38. But Khoo (12) jumped into first place, on count back, edging out competitors, Choo (10) and Lim (4), who fell into second and third position, respectively. Similar to the A Medal, the B Medal category saw tough competitors.

Although finishing with score 44, Md Nor Kiefli and Mohd Rizwan just couldnt cut it for first place as Lee Wen Tze (14) swung his way ahead of the two on count back. Md Nor Kiefli (13) and Mohd Rizwan (13) walked away with second and third place, respectively. C Category was not as tough as Joe Low Kar Yee (24) led the way with two strokes over Loy Siong Hay for first place, scoring 45. However, Loy manage to leave behind Eric Liew Poh Foh (24) by three strokes over Foh to claim second place. In the all-ladies category, the Ladies Medal, both Loo Eng Neo (25) and Fong Poh Choo (21) managed a 36 but Loo was just a tad better as she went on to claim first position on count back.

TEETALK/GOLF TIPS

TEETALK with Andrew Kay

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe, happy and prosperous New Year in 2009. Thank you to everyone who has supported the Kota Permai Golf Academy and Driving Range in 2008. We sincerely hope that we have helped you to improve your game and as a result enjoy and appreciate this great game and this great Kota Permai Golf Course even more. As part of our commitment to continually improve our Golf Academy and level of service, we have revised our current Junior Golf Program and are proud to launch our new 2009 Junior Golf Program. The aim of the new program is to introduce your kids to golf by way of a structured and enjoyable golf program. The kids will enter the program as Level One students and work their way through the program, till they graduate as a Level Four student. Upon passing Level Four, they will earn an official USGA handicap, which will enable them to play on the golf course and compete in junior golf tournaments. The year will be divided into four x three month semesters, with all semesters starting and finishing in the same week. Semester One will commence in the first week of January and finish in the last week of March. However, students can enter the program at any time provided we can arrange a suitable group and time. The lessons will still be done in groups of no more than five students, and will be of one hour duration each week. The bulk of the lessons will be done on Saturdays and Sundays, with times available between 9am and 7pm. We can schedule the lessons outside these times if requested, namely Monday to Friday if this is more suitable. This junior program is designed to teach the students the basic skills of golf and then gradually prepare them for playing on the golf course. During

semesters two, three and four, the students will be taken to the golf course, so they can get a first-hand experience of what golf is all about. This program will provide a great learning experience for your kids and to further encourage them to join this program we have reduced the price of the program. The cost is now RM 390 per semester (was RM 450) and the students will also receive upon registering for the program, an ID card which will entitle them to 50% off their range balls used during their lessons and used for their own personal practice. This is an encouragement for the kids to come to the range and practice outside of their lesson time. They will also be entitled to other discounts and promotions throughout the year at the Driving Range, Golf Academy and Club Fitting Shop. putting green and chipping green at the driving range are floodlit all night so you have the opportunity to practice. Why dont you spend more time this month working on your chipping and putting and see if your scores come down. I think you will be surprised at the results. We also have a three hour short game lesson package at the Golf Academy which I encourage everyone to take part in if you are serious about lowering your scores. During the 3 hours we work on all aspects of your short game. We will also give you a 20% discount on the three hour short game package, until the end of March. We are here to help you improve your golf so come down and see us. Even if you just want to ask a question about your game-we are here to help.

SHORT GAME
Drive for Show-Putt for Dough This is so true. A lot of people ask me, Andrew why am I a lousy putter? The first thing I ask them is, How often do you practice your putting? You can probably guess what the answer is going to be. Not very often. Considering you are going to use this club (putter) on almost every hole and most likely about 36 times during your round, I think it makes a lot of sense to go to the practice green and work on your putting. If you are having more than 30 putts per round, you seriously need to work on your putting. Think about this-if you are a lousy putter you are probably not too hot with the chipping either. If you cant chip the ball close, then you put a lot

of pressure on your putting. OK so if you improve your ball striking and hit more greens in regulation (par 3 on in one shot, par 4 on in two shots, etc.) then you dont need to practice your chipping, only your putting. The reality is the average golfer will not hit a lot of greens in regulation [GIR]. Even the best players in the world average about 70% GIR per round. Thats about 13 GIR per round. So why are they able to chip and putt so often and save pars. Because they work hard on their short game. From my experience as a player and as a coach, the quickest way to improve your scoring is to work hard on your short game. We have 2 putting greens and 2 chipping greens at Kota Permai. The

Ball Unfit for Play

Recently, I was asked by one of the lady member of the club, what happens when the ball she was playing break into pieces as a result of a stroke. Is there a penalty and can she replace the ball? The last paragraph to Rule 5.3 provides the answer. If a ball breaks into pieces as a result of a stroke, the stroke is cancelled and the player must play a ball, without penalty, as near as possible at the spot from which the original ball was played Failure to do so, the player will incur two penalty strokes in stroke play and loss of hole in match play. A ball is unfit for play if it is visibly cut, cracked or out of shape and the player can replace the ball provided he observes the proper procedures as follows:1. If a player has reasons to believe that his ball has become unfit for play during play of the hole, he may lift the ball, without penalty, to determine whether it is unfit. Before lifting, the player must announce his intention to his opponent or fellow competitor, marked the ball, lift and examine it, allows his opponent or fellow competitor to examine the ball, observe the lifting and replacement of the ball. 2. The ball must not be cleaned when lifted under this rule. 3. Failure to comply with the procedures above, the player incurs a penalty of one stroke. 4. If it is determined that the ball has become unfit for play during play of the hole, the player may substitute another ball, placing it on the spot where the original ball lay. Otherwise, the original ball must be replaced. 5. If a player substitutes a ball when not permitted and makes a stroke at the wrongly substituted ball, he incurs the general penalty of Rule 5-3 as mentioned above.

Greetings and a Happy 2009 New Year to all our members and family, Management and staff of KPGCC. Year 2008 has been an exciting year at KPGCC. We were the host for the Malaysian Open and voted Malaysias best golf course, again. We regret to note that Mr. Ding Meng Sieng has also left KPGCC in 2008. Year 2009 looks like a difficult year due to the global financial crisis. I hope this uncertain period will not seriously affect our members from having their usual outings at the club. I sincerely hope that the revenue for 2009 will not be affected and the Management will be able to sustain the premium status of our club. During this trouble time, we wish best golf and social club. January 2009 is also a time for the KPGCC Annual General Meeting and Election. On behalf of the Liaison committees I wish to take this opportunity to thank all our esteemed members for their support and cooperation. We wish to inform that in the year 2008, we have not received any serious complaints from our members except some minor problems which have been resolved amicably. Last but not least, I wish all our Chinese members, Management and Staff; Gong Xi Fa Cai. Thank You. CHONG THEAN YONG

MESSAGE FROM

Sports, Social & Recreation Chairman

WELCOME 2009 and best wishes for a happy New Year to all fellow members and staff of Kota Permai Golf and Country Club. The club celebrated its 10th Anniversary last year and it is very heartening to note the fantastic support and attendance of members at the Gala Night event held in November 2008. In the ten years since KPGCC was established, the Gala Night was undoubtedly the most major event where ALL members (golf/social/sports) truly meet and had a good time together. There are many ways for a club to make a name for itself and build up national pride and prestige. The options are plentiful, but hosting an important event like the Maybank Malaysian Open in 2008 and other major golf events previously certainly helps. Now that KPGCC is always admired for its well-maintained golf course, maybe it is time that the club should now not only continue to maintain but should focus more on further improving the other sports and social facilities. The beginning of each New Year always comes with new hopes and aspirations. As we now enter into a new decade, let us all, members and the management, continue to work towards achieving the highest standards that we all would like to see and have as fellow members of Kota Permai Golf and Country Club. The new 2009 Sports, Social & Recreation Committee will strive to its utmost to ensure that KPGCC will not only maintain but further improve its status as a well-respected and prestigious club in the country. Thank You. LIM MING LEE
