BIBLE DIFFICULTIES CLEARED

If we read the Bible in context the difficulties or seemingly contradictions can be cleared. Skeptics, Muslims and Atheists contradict these verses to destroy the credibility and authenticity of the Bible. They interpret the verses out of context and conclude the Bible is not the word of God. To get the right interpretation of the verses: First get immediately into the verse quoted and try to get the context. Read the previous verses and the verses after it. If possible read the whole chapter to get into the real picture of what is discussed. Consider also the whole bible truths. The enlightenment and the answers are found in the verses themselves and in the whole bible taken as cross references for right interpretation.

GENESIS
GE 1:3-5 On the first day, God created light, then separated light and darkness. GE 1:14-19 The sun (which separates night and day) wasn't created until the fourth day. God is the source of all things. Just a word from Him there can be light. Even when He made the sun on the fourth day the suns source of energy also comes from Him. At the new heaven and earth God shall be dwelling there and there will be light and no more sun in the day or moon at night Rev 22:5. God is able.

GE 1:11-12, 26-27 Trees were created before man was created. GE 2:4-9 Man was created before trees were created. Genesis 1:11-12, all vegetation were created, verse 26-27 man was made and in verse 29 God has said that He has given man the plants and the trees bearing fruit as food. Chapter 2 verses 1-3 said God completed His work on the seventh day. The following verses then only reiterated a detailed account of the creation verse 4. Before man the plants were still seeds under the ground at that time and already they have life. In verse 5 when there was no man to cultivate it God didnt permit the plants and trees to sprout and grow yet. Verse 9 when man was made He caused them to grow. He even planted the Garden of Eden and placed man whom He has made verse 8. GE 1:20-21, 26-27 Birds were created before man was created. GE 2:7, 19 Man was created before birds were created. Chapter 2 verses 1-3 said God completed His work on the seventh day. The following verses then only reiterated a detailed account of the creation verse 4. GE 1:26-27 Man and woman were created at the same time. GE 2:7, 21-22 Man was created first, woman sometime later. Gen 1 was a creation account and Gen 2 was a detailed one of that account. GE 1:28 God encourages reproduction. LE 12:1-8 God requires purification rites following childbirth which, in effect, makes childbirth a sin. (The period for purification following the birth of a daughter is twice that for a son.) Gen 1:28 of course God shall promote reproduction and multiplication because there were 2 people on earth at that time. Lev 12:1-8 dont say that childbearing is sin. The woman is ceremonially unclean. Its the flow of blood that makes her unclean.

GE 1:31 God was pleased with his creation. GE 6:5-6 God was not pleased with his creation. (That God should be displeased is inconsistent with the concept of omniscience.) Both verses are correct and these have nothing to do with Gods omniscience but with His character. God is a personal God. He loves and can be loved. He too can be hurt. Gen 6:5-6 showed man became extremely wicked in his ways. This saddened the Creator. God gives chances to everyone and He reacts when our actions are done. Remember God is not only a Creator but also a Ruler and a Judge. He does not judge us until we have committed it. GE 2:4, 4:26, 12:8, 22:14-16, 26:25 God was already known as "the LORD" (YAHWEH) much earlier than the time of Moses. EX 6:2-3 God was first known as "the LORD" (YAHWEH) at the time of the Egyptian Bondage, during the life of Moses. Men before Moses called on the name of the LORD. But God did not make known His Name to them only at the time of Moses then. Moses wrote Gods name Yahweh because he already knew his name. Moses wrote the first five books of the bible. When men called upon God before Moses and Moses revealed to us that they are calling upon the name of the LORD (Yahweh) and not to any other god. In Genesis 1 to 3 Moses made use of the Name LORD God (Yahweh Elohim) at the creation of the heavens and the earth for Gods name was revealed to him before he wrote the Book. It was during the time of Moses that God has spoken and revealed His name. If the Israelites knew or Moses knew through their traditions he wont be asking God His name. GE 2:17 Adam was to die the very day that he ate the forbidden fruit. GE 5:5 Adam lived 930 years. It was speaking if spiritual death which all men shall encounter if they rebelled against God. We all die physically and if we are without the knowledge and relationship with the true God we shall die spiritually Heb 9:27. GE 2:15-17, 3:4-6 It is wrong to want to be able to tell good from evil. HE 5:13-14 It is immature to be unable to tell good from evil. Adam didnt know good and evil in the beginning and have not sinned when this commandment was given. The issue here is not wanting to know the good or evil but to obey the commandment not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. In Heb 5:13-14 because we have sinned we have to know and discern what pleases God through His word. GE 4:4-5 God prefers Abel's offering and has no regard for Cain's. 2CH 19:7, AC 10:34, RO 2:11 God shows no partiality. He treats all alike. Abels offering was accepted because number one it is the type of offering God accepts. Also Abel had the better intentions and he truly repented. Cain was jealous of his brother and he killed him. God knew that and He looked at their hearts.

GE 4:9 God asks Cain where his brother Abel is. PR 15:3, JE 16:17, 23:24-25, HE 4:13 God is everywhere. He sees everything. Nothing is hidden from his view. The issue here is not Gods omniscience or all knowing. Of course God knew it. In the first place God would not be testing Cain by these questions asking where is your brother? whom God knew and saw what Cain did. He wanted to draw answers from Cain. GE 4:15, DT 32:19-27, IS 34:8 God is a vengeful god. EX 15:3, IS 42:13, HE 12:29 God is a warrior. God is a consuming fire. EX 20:5, 34:14, DT 4:24, 5:9, 6:15, 29:20, 32:21 God is a jealous god. LE 26:7-8, NU 31:17-18, DT 20:16-17, JS 10:40, JG 14:19, EZ 9:5-7 Murder and killing. NU 25:3-4, DT 6:15, 9:7-8, 29:20, 32:21, PS 7:11, 78:49, JE 4:8, 17:4, 32:30-31, ZP 2:2 God is angry. His anger is sometimes fierce. 2SA 22:7-8 "I called to the Lord; ... he heard my voice; ... The earth trembled and quaked, ... because he was angry. Smoke came from his nostrils. Consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it." EZ 6:12, NA 1:2, 6 God is jealous and furious. He reserves wrath for, and takes revenge on, his enemies. "... who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? His fury is poured out like fire, and rocks are thrown down by him." 2CO 13:11, 14, 1JN 4:8, 16 God is love. GA 5:22-23 The fruit of the Spirit of God is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. God is a righteous and just God. He does not allow wickedness go unpunished Ps 101:8, 129:4, Is 2:9. In Deut 9:4 He says, Do not say in your heart when the LORD your God has driven them out before you, Because of my righteousness the LORD has brought me in to possess this land, but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD is dispossessing them before you. He loves and forgives people and saves the humble Ps 76:9. Tribulation and distress who does evil and glory, honor and peace who does what is good Rom 2:9-10. GE 4:16 Cain went away (or out) from the presence of the Lord. JE 23:23-24 A man cannot hide from God. God fills heaven and earth. Cain was cursed and was not blessed because he killed his brother Abel. The presence of the Lord is His protection and blessing. He was separated from having a relationship from the Lord because of his wickedness. GE 6:4 There were Nephilim (giants) before the Flood. GE 7:21 All creatures other than Noah and his clan were annihilated by the Flood. NU 13:33 There were Nephilim after the Flood. Gen 6:4 said there where Nephilim on earth in those days and afterward. These are the sons of God (angels Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7) who bore children with the daughters of men.

GE 6:6. EX 32:14, NU 14:20, 1SA 15:35, 2SA 24:16 God does change his mind. NU 23:19-20, 1SA 15:29, JA 1:17 God does not change his mind. When God wants to fulfill something by His own purpose He does not change His mind. God only changes His mind when circumstances call for it. He is a personal God that reacts to people at different situations considering what is right and good at that time. He acts in loving-kindness, righteousness and justice on earth Jer 9:24. GE 6:19-22, 7:8-9, 7:14-16 Two of each kind are to be taken, and are taken, aboard Noah's Ark. GE 7:2-5 Seven pairs of some kinds are to be taken (and are taken) aboard the Ark. The commandment was of clean animals Noah to take seven pairs each and of unclean animals only by two. Well Noah worshiped God and God could require offerings to be made by Noah. GE 7:1 Noah was righteous. JB 1:1,8, JB 2:3 Job was righteous. LK 1:6 Zechariah and Elizabeth were righteous. JA 5:16 Some men are righteous, (which makes their prayers effective). 1JN 3:6-9 Christians become righteous (or else they are not really Christians). RO 3:10, 3:23, 1JN 1:8-10 No one was or is righteous. In the Old Testament one is declared righteous when he keeps the Law including its ordinances Lk 1:6 Neh 10:29. When he transgresses against the commandments an offering was made and he is forgiven or made righteous Ezek 45:17. There is no righteous who continually does good and never sins Eccl 7:20. It is not sinlessness what Paul is saying in the book of Romans. He said all have sinned and come short of the glory of God Rom 3:23. John said if we sin we can ask forgiveness 1Jn 1:8-10. In the New Testament Jesus Christ has become our righteousness Rom 10:4. GE 7:7 Noah and his clan enter the Ark. GE 7:13 They enter the Ark (again?). Gen 7:11 reiterated what happened when the flood came this time at the exact year, month and day of Noahs life. Verse 13 they entered the Ark. GE 11:7-9 God sows discord. PR 6:16-19 God hates anyone who sows discord. God just frustrated their evil plans. GE 11:9 At Babel, the Lord confused the language of the whole world. 1CO 14:33 Paul says that God is not the author of confusion. God can sow confusion to frustrate the evil plans of man Gen 11:7, Ps 55:9, 144:6. 6

GE 11:12 Arpachshad [Arphaxad] was the father of Shelah. LK 3:35-36 Cainan was the father of Shelah. Arpachshad was the grandfather of Shelah. Luke included Cainan as the father of Shelah while in the book of Genesis Shelah was the son of Arpachshad. It may tell us something in the past. If we look back to history Ham the son Noah uncovered his fathers nakedness when he was drunk. When Noah awoke he cursed his son Canaan. It implied that Ham discovered his sons Canaan had done. It may be an illicit relationship within the family of Noah that bore Shelah that is why Canaan was cursed Deut 27:20, Lev 18:8,10, 20:11. Changing his name into Cainan meaning humiliated Gen 9:20-25. Although the Law was not yet given Noah was convicted of the error Canaan did. Cainan therefore is the biological father of Shelah and Arpachshad the son of Shem became Shelahs paternal father. GE 11:26 Terah was 70 years old when his son Abram was born. GE 11:32 Terah was 205 years old when he died (making Abram 135 at the time). Yes Terah was 70 years old when Abram was born. All the days of Terah was 205 years. 205 70 is 135. He was 135 when his father died. GE 12:4, AC 7:4 Abram was 75 when he left Haran. This was after Terah died. Thus, Terah could have been no more than 145 when he died; or Abram was only 75 years old after he had lived 135 years. It didnt say that Abram left Haran after his father died. In fact in Gen 12.1 God asked Abram to leave his fathers house and relatives because God will make him a great nation. When he left Terah was still alive. GE 12:7, 17:1, 18:1, 26:2, 32:30, EX 3:16, 6:2-3, 24:9-11, 33:11, NU 12:78, 14:14, JB 42:5, AM 7:7-8, 9:1 God is seen. EX 33:20, JN 1:18, 1JN 4:12 God is not seen. No one can see God's face and live. No one has ever seen him. God was never seen as He is for no one can see God. God is a spirit. God showed to people His form, also sometimes by an angel and sometimes He took the form of a man. Jesus Christ has seen God the Father as He is for He came from Him and was sent by Him Jn 1:18,1, 3:13, 31, 32. GE 10:5, 20, 31 There were many languages before the Tower of Babel. GE 11:1 There was only one language before the Tower of Babel. Gen 10 showed that the nations of the earth came from the three sons of Noah. Chapter 11 showed a time when there was still one universal language used. Verse 8 showed after they had different languages God scattered them from the face of the earth. These nations came from the three sons of Noah according to their languages.

GE 15:9, EX 20:24, 29:10-42, LE 1:1-7:38, NU 28:1-29:40, God details sacrificial offerings. JE 7:21-22 God says he did no such thing. The context in Jeremiah chapter 7 is that the Jews were confident in the existing Temple of God with all their worship and ordinances but God knew they have not repented of their stealing, killing, injustices and idolatries. He said that it is not the sacrifices and burnt offerings that He commanded (Jer 7:23-24) but to obey His voice and walk in His ways and not in their stubborn wicked heart. All these ordinances are nothing without obeying His voice and walking in His ways. GE 16:15, 21:1-3, GA 4:22 Abraham had two sons, Ishmael and Isaac. HE 11:17 Abraham had only one son. Isaac was the only son of Abraham by Sarah his wife whom God promised and through whom God shall fulfill His word to Abraham to be a great nation Gen 17:4,9, 21:12. He had two sons from Sarah and Hagar Gal 4:22. Ishmael was not considered as the son whom the promised shall be fulfilled and was born through Hagar their servant. GE 17:1, 35:11, 1CH 29:11-12, LK 1:37 God is omnipotent. Nothing is impossible with (or for) God. JG 1:19 Although God was with Judah, together they could not defeat the plainsmen because the latter had iron chariots. Read chapters 1 and 2 of the Book of Judges so we can get the whole picture. In Chapter 1 we can see Israel conquered and defeated the different inhabitants around them and there were several who they could not defeat. The reason was in Chapter 2 verse 1 and following. God did not broke His covenant with Israel that is why the Lord was with them but Israel broke the covenant by serving the gods of these people and built altars for them. God did not drive out some of these people before them so that they shall become thorns on their sides and the gods a snare unto them until they repent and return to God. GE 17:7, 10-11 The covenant of circumcision is to be everlasting. GA 6:15 It is of no consequence. Gal 6:15 tells us that what is important is not being circumcise or not in the flesh but a new creation or a new person in Christ. The New Testament gave the real meaning of true circumcision and that is the circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, circumcision not by human hands but by the removal of the body of flesh by the circumcision of Christ. True circumcision is serving God in the Spirit, keeping His commandments and faith working though love. These make the covenant of circumcision everlasting because it is made in the spirit this time and completed by God. Rom 2:29, Phil 3:3 Col 2:11 GE 17:8 God promises Abraham the land of Canaan as an "everlasting possession." GE 25:8, AC 7:2-5, HE 11:13 Abraham died with the promise unfulfilled.

The promise was to Abraham and to his descendants. His descendants after Moses during and during Joshuas time did possessed the land and was distributed to them. From Abraham came Isaac then Jacob (who was called Israel) then the 12 Tribes of Israel for whom the land Canaan was divided. GE 17:15-16, 20:11-12, 22:17 Abraham and his half sister, Sarai, are married and receive God's blessings. LE 20:17, DT 27:20-23 Incest is wrong. The Law was given after Abraham. It was not yet known to them the specifics of incest. Abraham limited his knowledge by saying she is my sister but not the daughter of my mother. Should Sarai be the daughter of his mother and father Abraham would not have taken her to be his wife. We came with one family from Adam and then one family from Noah. Abraham might have carried on their tradition. GE 18:20-21 God decides to "go down" to see what is going on. PR 15:3, JE 16:17, 23:24-25, HE 4:13 God is everywhere. He sees everything. Nothing is hidden from his view. Although God sees everything and is everywhere the scripture mentioned God going is down to give emphasis to His action and its importance. GE 19:30-38 While he is drunk, Lot's two daughters "lie with him," become pregnant, and give birth to his offspring. 2PE 2:7 Lot was "just" and "righteous." There is no righteous man who continually does good and who never sins Eccl 7:20. Lot was drunk this time when this happened. He was just and righteous because he believed God and obeyed Him 2 Pet 2:6-7. GE 22:1-12, DT 8:2 God tempts (tests) Abraham and Moses. JG 2:22 God himself says that he does test (tempt). 1CO 10:13 Paul says that God controls the extent of our temptations. JA 1:13 God tests (tempts) no one. What God made to Abraham and Moses was the testing of their faith and not tempting them to sin. GE 27:28 "May God give you ... an abundance of grain and new wine." DT 7:13 If they follow his commandments, God will bless the fruit of their wine. Here Isaac proclaimed a blessing to his son Jacob. In Deut 7:13 the condition of blessing is by following Gods commandments. GE 30:39 Magical genetics Gen. 30:25-31:13 We have some action in which Jacob uses peeled sticks to try and control what sort of offspring his flocks have. This is not scientifically accurate. Yes it is

not. What Jacob did is obviously a form of "sympathetic magic" - putting a striped object in front of the flocks so that they had "ringstraked," etc. offspring. Gen 31:10-13 Tell us what really happened. Here, Jacob indicates that God showed in a dream that Laban was intentionally cheating him. He says: And it came to pass at the time that the cattle conceived, that I lifted up mine eyes, and saw in a dream, and, behold, the rams which leaped upon the cattle were ringstreaked, speckled, and grisled. And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here am I. And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle are ringstreaked, speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee. I am the God of Bethel, where thou anointedst the pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow unto me: now arise, get thee out from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred. In other words, God divinely intervened for the purpose of evening the odds that Laban was planning against Jacob. He intervened to prevent Rachel and Leah's father from cheating Jacob again. Jacob obviously did think at first that the sticks were the key to his success, but from events in Ch. 31, it seems that God stepped down and have done it for Jacob. GE 35:10 God says Jacob is to be called Jacob no longer; henceforth his name is Israel. GE 46:2 At a later time, God himself uses the name Jacob. No problem, God can call Israel by his first name Jacob if He wants to but to the people Jacob shall be known as Israel. Israel means prince of God. GE 36:11 The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz. GE 36:15-16 Teman, Omar, Zepho, Kenaz. 1CH 1:35-36 Teman, Omar, Zephi, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna, and Amalek. Eliphaz didnt have only one wife. He had sons with other women also. GE 49:2-28 The fathers of the twelve tribes of Israel are: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Zebulun, Issachar, Dan, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Joseph, and Benjamin. RE 7:4-8 The twelve Tribes of Israel : Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin (Leaves out the tribe of Dan, but adds Manasseh.) Manasseh the son of Joseph took the place of Dan. Dan committed gross idolatry. Jud 18:30-31, 2Kin 10:29. GE 50:13 Jacob was buried in a cave at Machpelah, Abraham bought from Ephron the Hittite. AC 7:15-16 He was buried in the sepulchre at Shechem, bought from the sons of Hamor. Was it bought from Ephrom the Hittite or from the sons of Hamor? Was Jacob buried in a cave at Machpelah or in the sepulcher at Schechem? 10

Let us compare the verses below and find out: for his sons carried him to the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre, which Abraham had bought along with the field for a burial site from Ephron the Hittite Gen 50:13. "From there they were removed to Shechem and laid in the tomb which Abraham had purchased for a sum of money from the sons of Hamor in Shechem Act 7:16. He was removed from Egypt and carried to Schechem and laid in the tomb and buried in the cave of the field of Machpelah which Abraham had bought from Ephron the Hittite who was a descendant of Hamor who were from Schechem. The cave of Machpelah is where Jacob was buried. It is in Schechem. Ephron the Hittite was one of the sons of Hamor from Schechem. So therefore, Jacob was buried in the cave of Machpelah at Schechem which Abraham bought from Ephron the Hittite one of the sons of Hamor.

EXODUS
EX 3:1 Jethro was the father-in-law of Moses. NU 10:29, JG 4:11 Hobab was the father-in-law of Moses. Jethro and Hobab is one person. Reuel? Jethro? Hobab? What's up with that? The most common answer: It's actually just the usual Ancient Near Eastern practice of multiple names for persons and cities according to context, just like Yahweh and Elohim. "Reuel" means "friend of God" and it is most likely an actual name, but the word used for "father" is 'ab and this also refers to the chief patriarch of a clan. Reuel, as the chief patriarch, was the one who arranged all the marriages for his female descendants. He was most likely a grandfather (or perhaps great-grandfather), which the word combination father/daughter allows. "Jethro" actually means "his excellence" -- that is a title, not a name as we have become accustomed to thinking. That leaves "Hobab" in Judges. Who the Hobab is that? That one is what we indeed would call, exclusively and legally, Moses' father-in-law. Nu 10:29 "And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses' father in law..." Reuel was the lead patriarch; Hobab was his son and Moses' father-in-law. EX 3:20-22, DT 20:13-17 God instructs the Israelites to despoil the Egyptians, to plunder their enemies. EX 20:15, 17, LE 19:13 God prohibits stealing, defrauding, or robbing a neighbor. Gods judgment came to these people. They were at the same time dispossessed of their land Deut 9:4.

EX 4:11 God decides who will be dumb, deaf, blind, etc. 2CO 13:11, 14, 1JN 4:8, 16 God is a God of love. If somebody is dumb, deaf or blind doesnt mean God is not a God of love. God is able to uplift those who are low. In Ex 4:12 God is able to help and heal. The works of God may be displayed in him Jn 9:3-4. EX 9:3-6 God destroys all the cattle (including horses) belonging to the Egyptians. EX 9:9-11 The people and the cattle are afflicted with boils. EX 12:12, 29 All the first-born of the cattle of the Egyptians are destroyed. EX 14:9 After having all their cattle destroyed, then afflicted with boils, and then their first-born cattle destroyed, the Egyptians pursue Moses on horseback. The Egyptians are able to outsource their horses. EX 12:13 The Israelites have to mark their houses with blood in order for God to see which houses they occupy and "pass over" them. PR 15:3, JE 16:17, 23:24-25, HE 4:13 God is everywhere. He sees everything. Nothing is hidden from God. There should be faith and obedience on the side of Israel. Also blood resembles ransom and salvation. Sacrifice and blood was offered Ex 12:5-11, Lev 4:17-20. EX 12:37, NU 1:45-46 The number of men of military age who take part in the Exodus is given as more than 600,000. Allowing for women, children, and older men would probably mean that a total of about 2,000,000 Israelites left Egypt. 1KI 20:15 All the Israelites, including children, number only 7000 at a later time. The 7,000 are men of Israelites who have not bowed down to Baal. The Lord shall use them for battle 1Kngs 19:18. EX 15:3, 17:16, NU 25:4, 32:14, IS 42:13 God is a man of war--he is fierce and angry. RO 15:33, 2CO 13:11, 14, 1JN 4:8, 16 God is a god of love and peace. Both are right. God is love. He is also a righteous judge rewarding each man according to what he has done. He does not let the wicked get unpunished. EX 20:1-17 God gave the law directly to Moses (without using an intermediary). GA 3:19 The law was ordained through angels by a mediator (an intermediary). Both are right. There are times God talked directly to the Prophets Ex 3:4-6, and there are times through angels Gen 22:15-18, 31:11-13.

EX 19- 20 God gave the Law at Mt. Sinai. DT 5 It is at Mt Horeb. In Ex 19:1-3 the Israelites were at the wilderness of Sinai when God called Moses to go up the mountain and made a covenant with them. It is Mt Horeb the Mountain of Sinai. Mt Sinai is also Mt Horeb. Moses made it clear at Deut 5:2. Mt Horeb is the mountain of God where the Lord appeared to Moses in the burning bush Ex 3:1-6. EX 20:4 God prohibits the making of any graven images whatsoever. EX 25:18 God enjoins the making of two graven images. Graven images were made by people to be worship but the two cherubims God instructed Moses to put in the mercy seat on the ark of the covenant was not meant to be worshiped. EX 20:5, 34:7, NU 14:18, DT 5:9, IS 14:21-22 Children are to suffer for their parent's sins. DT 24:16, EZ 18:19-20 Children are not to suffer for their parent's sins. If the children continue the evil practices of their ancestors they shall suffer the same but if they turned toward God they are forgiven 1Kin 22:52, 2Kin 15:9, Is 66:4. EX 20:8-11, 31:15-17, 35:1-3 No work is to be done on the Sabbath, not even lighting a fire. The commandment is permanent, and death is required for infractions. MK 2:27-28 Jesus says that the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath (after his disciples were criticized for breaking the Sabbath). RO 14:5, CN 2:14-16 Paul says the Sabbath commandment was temporary, and to decide for yourself regarding its observance. Jesus is the Lord of Sabbath Mk 2:28, Lk 6:5. When Christ came believers had a Sabbath to enter and that is the rest and salvation of their souls in Christ Heb 4:9-11, Mt 11:28-29. EX 20:12, DT 5:16, MT 15:4, 19:19, MK 7:10, 10:19, LK 18:20 Honor your father and your mother is one of the ten commandments. It is reinforced by Jesus. MT 10:35-37, LK 12:51-53, 14:26 Jesus says that he has come to divide families; that a man's foes will be those of his own household; that you must hate your father, mother, wife, children, brothers, sisters, and even your own life to be a disciple. MT 23:9 Jesus says to call no man on earth your father. The teachings of Jesus are both right. We are to honor our father and mother. Our devotion to Christ shouldnt be hindered by anyone including all the members of our families. Jesus meant the Father in heaven is the only one.

Children or their sons and daughters were not excluded from the judgment because they were part of the nation judged. EX 34:6, DT 7:9-10, TS 1:2 God is faithful and truthful. He does not lie. NU 14:30 God breaks his promise. God did not break His promise to Abraham because his descendants did come into the promise land. Abraham settled in Canaan Gen 13:13. All the land of Canaan to his descendants Gen 17:8. The Israelites who came out from Egypt rebelled, disobeyed and murmured against Moses and God thats why their children were the one allowed to enter the land Num 14:26-29.

EX 34:6, DT 7:9-10, TS 1:2 God is faithful and truthful. He does not lie. 1KI 22:21-23 God condones a spirit of deception. God intended that the prophets to speak falsely to King Ahab of Israel so that he shall be destroyed 1Kin 22:21-23. Judgment came to him because he provoked the Lord, followed other gods and disobeyed the commandments of the LORD and 1Kin 16:33, 18:17-21, 21:19-23. EX 34:6, DT 7:9-10, TS 1:2 God is faithful and truthful. He does not lie. 2TH 2:11-12 God deludes people, making them believe what is false, so as to be able to condemn them. The answer is in verse 10 of 2Thess 2, because these wicked men did not receive the love of truth so as to be saved and they were destined already to perish. EX 34:6-7, JS 24:19, 1CH 16:34 God is faithful, holy and good. IS 45:6-7, LA 3:8, AM 3:6 God is responsible for evil. The evil here are the calamities and the judgment that comes to the wicked. EX 34:6-7, HE 9:27 God remembers sin, even when it has been forgiven. JE 31:34 God does not remember sin when it has been forgiven. Whenever sins are forsaken and repented God forgives but when the iniquity remains in the descendants and their children and when visited they are judged 1Kin 15:3, Ezek 3:17-21. Hebrews 9:27 all men shall be judge on judgment day but the righteous believers are exempted from this day Jn 5:24. The wicked destroyed Rev 20:11-15.

LEVITICUS
LE 3:17 God himself prohibits forever the eating of blood and fat. MT 15:11, COL 2:20-22 Jesus and Paul say that such rules don't matter--they are only human injunctions. Lev 3:17 says it shall be a perpetual statute to all your generations in all your dwellings. You shall not eat fat and blood because this is used as a sacrifice and offering in the altar verse 16. God made this commandment to the Israelites Lev 4:2. Should Israel not broke the First Covenant God would not establish a New Covenant Jer 31:31-32. This is not applicable to us today. Mt 15:11, 17-20 Jesus said that it is not the food that we eat that defiles us but what that comes out from within our heart that defiles us. From the heart comes evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders. Jesus is right in these sayings. Col 2:20-22 Paul said that when you are in Christ we died with Him to the elementary principles of the world (not the Old Testament Commandments), the teachings of men such as do not handle, do not touch or do not taste. These are self-made religions verse 23. Regarding the Old Testament food, drink, festivals and Sabbath no one is to 15

act as judge regarding it. These are a mere shadow of which is to come the substance and reality is Christ Col 2:16-17.

LE 11:6 , DT 14:6-8 Rabbits chew the cud, Ruminants Animals that chew the cud are called ruminants. They hardly chew their food when first eaten, but swallow it into a special stomach where the food is partially digested. Then it is regurgitated, chewed again, and swallowed into a different stomach. Animals which do this include cows, sheep and goats, and giraffes they all have four stomachs. Rabbits and Coneys are not ruminants. Yes they are not but in the ancient world where science is not as advance as now would not know that they have four stomachs. The physical recognition was that they chew the cud. The Rabbits do give the appearance of chewing their cud in the same way ruminants do. They might be supposed to be from their habit of almost continuously moving their jaws. They may have appeared as such to ancient observers because of their constant chewing movements. The 'bring up' the cud -- sounds like regurgitation. The Hebrew word is question is NOT specific to the process of regurgitation; it is a phrase of general movement. And related to the specific issue at hand, the rabbit is an animal that does "maketh" the previously digested material to "come" out of the body (though in a different way than a ruminant does) and does thereafter does chew "predigested material"! The mistake is in our applying of the scientific terms of rumination to something that does not require it. LE 11:13,19, DT 4:11,18 Bats are birds.

These, moreover, you shall detest among the birds; they are abhorrent, not to be eaten: the eagle and the vulture and the buzzard, 19 and the stork, the heron in its kinds, and the hoopoe, and the bat. Lev 11:13,19 Modern science and classification of animals were not known and used before such as today. Classification of animals and things was made by different means: function or form. In this case, the word we render birds means simply "owner of a wing", the word being 'owph, which comes from a root word which means to cover or to fly. The category of 'owph includes birds, bats, and certain insects. Modern terminology of things today may differ before but our ancestral fathers have fully understood the classification and form of animals in their times. The word dinosaur is not in the bible but does it mean the bible is wrong because they were not mentioned? They were in the Bible in the book of Job, the behemoth and the leviathan Jb 40:15-24, 41:1-34. Their function and form are of the dinosaurs we know today. LE 11:20,23 Insects have 4 legs

The next verse (21) showed us which of the insects that walk on all fours but use their two hind legs for leaping are not detestable. These when you count equals six. NU 11:33 God inflicts sickness. JB 2:7 Satan inflicts sickness. Whenever God judges He can put sicknesses and diseases Deut 7:15, 28:5861. Satan causes sickness without any justified reason Lk 13:11-13, 16. NU 15:24-28 Sacrifices can, in at least some case, take away sin. HE 10:11 They never take away sin. Sacrifices in the Old Covenant were commanded by God for the atonement of the sins of the people Lev 4:20. God was not finished with the work of salvation until Christ came as the Lamb to be offered to ultimately take away sin Heb 10:10-12, Jn 1:29. NU 25:9 24,000 died in the plague. 1CO 10:8 23,000 died in the plague. 17

Paul was not wrong when he said 23,000 fell. He did not say only 23,000 fell from the plague. Also there was a plague prior to this that killed many when the Israelites stood up and play and acted wickedly and worship a calf when Moses was at Mt Sinai Ex 32:1-10, 31-35. NU 30:2 God enjoins the making of vows (oaths). MT 5:33-37 Jesus forbids doing so, saying that they arise from evil (or the Devil). We can make a covenant, vows, commitment and allegiance to our God Deut 29:12. We should rather fulfill our commitments to our God. If we swear and make an oath by heaven or by our head is evil and let our statement yes or no. Mt 5:33-37, Js 5:12. It is not ours. NU 33:38 Aaron died on Mt. Hor. DT 10:6 Aaron died in Mosera. The key words were now at that time. DEUTERONOMY
DT 6:15, 9:7-8, 29:20, 32:21 God is sometimes angry. MT 5:22 Anger is a sin. There is a justified and righteous anger 1Kin 11:9-12, 2Kin 17:18, 20. God is angry at sin and punishes the wicked Ex 32:33-35. The bible said be angry but not sin we should be able to forgive and do not give the devil an opportunity Eph 4:26-27, Eccl 11:10. Anger when accompanied by curses, hatred, slander and murder is sin Pr 27:4. DT 7:9-10 God destroys his enemies. MT 5:39-44 Do not resist your enemies. Love them. God can judge His enemies and destroy them Is 2:10, 1Kin 8:32. DT 18:20-22 A false prophet is one whose words do not come true. Death is required. EZ 14:9 A prophet who is deceived, is deceived by God himself. Death is still required. Actually God did not deceive the prophet. He prevailed over the prophet to move them into destruction because together with the Israelites they have forsaken and disobeyed Him. They were judged for their sins both their prophets and the Israelites Ezek 14:1-10. The prophets themselves prophesy what they wanted to hear Ezek 13:2-3, Jer 27:16. DT 23:1 A castrate may not enter the assembly of the Lord. IS 56:4-5 Some castrates will receive special rewards. Is 56:4-5 These were those who kept His Sabbaths and His covenant. DT 23:1 A castrate may not enter the assembly of the Lord. MT 19:12 Men are encouraged to consider making themselves castrates for the sake of the Kingdom of God. Mt 19:12 That means they didnt marry for the sake of the work of the Lord verse 10. DT 24:1-5 A man can divorce his wife simply because she displeases him and both he and his wife can remarry. MK 10:2-12 Divorce is wrong, and to remarry is to commit adultery. Divorce was allowed because of the hardness of their heart Mk 10:5, Mt 19:8. God hated divorce Mal 2:16. When Jesus came He made it clear which is permitted. He said no one can divorce and remarry another except for fornication Mt 5:32, 19:9.

It is the sinful nature that we inherited from Adam. Adam sinned and sinned entered into the world, all have sinned Rom 3:23, 5:12. DT 30:11-20 It is possible to keep the law. RO 3:20-23 It is not possible to keep the law. Deut 30:11-20 God commanded Israel that His commandments are to be kept. It is possible. Rom 3:20-23 The Law even when kept was not intended for our justification because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The righteousness of God is by faith in Jesus Christ. If righteousness comes through the Law then Christ have died in vain Gal 2:21.

JOSHUA
JS 10:38-40 Joshua himself captured Debir. JG 1:11-15 It was Othniel, who thereby obtained the hand of Caleb's daughter, Achsah. This was another city with the same name Debir. Its former name was Kiriathsepher Jud 1:11-12. JS 11:20 God shows no mercy to some. LK 6:36, JA 5:11 God is merciful. Josh 11:18-23 Joshua was having war with these kings and about to conquer the land inhabited by these wicked nations who worship idols.

JUDGES
JG 4:21 Sisera was sleeping when Jael killed him. JG 5:25-27 Sisera was standing. Sisera fell asleep after Jael gave him milk. And she killed him and fell at her feet.

1 SAMUEL
1SA 8:2-22 Samuel informs God as to what he has heard from others. PR 15:3, JE 16:17, 23:24-25, HE 4:13 God is everywhere. He sees and hears everything. Of course God knows and is everywhere but He communicates with men and deals with them accordingly. It would be awkward that if Samuel would come to God he would not speak from his heart or for his people just because God already knew it. God responds to us.

1SA 9:15-17 The Lord tells Samuel that Saul has been chosen to lead the Israelites and will save them from the Philistines. 1SA 15:35 The Lord is sorry that he has chosen Saul. 1SA 31:4-7 Saul commits suicide and the Israelites are overrun by the Philistines. God is just. He does not judge us with things we have not yet done. He only reacts when we fail. This makes our God a God of opportunity and chance. Each one of us is given the opportunity to prove ourselves and obey God. If we fail Him He feels sorry for us. 1SA 15:7-8, 20 The Amalekites are utterly destroyed. 1SA 27:8-9 They are utterly destroyed (again?). 1SA 30:1, 17-18 They raid Ziklag and David smites them (again?). The Amalekites were in different bands or groups and they left young men among themselves as seen in 1Sam 30:8, 15, 17 1SA 16:10-11, 17:12 Jesse had seven sons plus David, or eight total. 1CH 2:13-15 He had seven total. 1Samuel was written earlier before 1Chronicles was recorded. One of the sons of Jesse, Davids brother might have perished from battle. Israel had frequent wars with the Philistines and other nations. That is why he may not be included when the genealogy was written in 1Chronicles. 1SA 16:19-23 Saul knew David well before the latter's encounter with Goliath. 1SA 17:55-58 Saul did not know David at the time of his encounter with Goliath and had to ask about David's identity. Saul had no personal knowledge who was Davids father on his first encounter with him. It was through a servant David was brought to him 1Sam 16:18-19. Saul knew David but not his father that is why Saul was asking who is your father 1Sam 17:55-58. 1SA 17:50 David killed Goliath with a slingshot. 1SA 17:51 David killed Goliath (again?) with a sword. He killed Goliath with a slingshot on the forehead and then he beheaded him with a sword. 1SA 17:50 David killed Goliath. 2SA 21:19 Elhanan killed Goliath. Certainly this is another warrior named Goliath whom Elhanan killed. Saul and Jonathan were already dead and buried 2Sam 21:13-14. David was already King of Israel here while in his first encounter he was but a youth. 1SA 21:1-6 Ahimelech was high priest when David ate the bread. MK 2:26 Abiathar was high priest at the time.

Abiathar was the high priest of the temple at the time Mk 2:26. Ahimelech was one of the priests who attended to them. Ahimelech and Ahitub were sons of Abiathar the high priest and his sons were priests at the temple at the time of David 2Sam 8:15,17. 1SA 28:6 Saul inquired of the Lord, but received no answer. 1CH 10:13-14 Saul died for not inquiring of the Lord. The Lord was against Saul because he disobeyed the word of the Lord 1Sam 28:15-19. The Lord didnt answer him when he as afraid of the Philistines because of his sins 1Sam 28:4-6. And for this reason Saul has even no right to inquire from the mediums it added to his sins 1Sam 28:7. 1SA 31:4-6 Saul killed himself by falling on his sword. 2SA 1:2-10 Saul, at his own request, was slain by an Amalekite. 2SA 21:12 Saul was killed by the Philistines on Gilboa. 1CH 10:13-14 Saul was slain by God. Saul first fell himself with his sword and he was weak then and asked the Amalelkite to kill him. And later the Philistines hanged them. Alt these were from God.

2 SAMUEL
2SA 6:23 Michal was childless. 2SA 21:8 She had five sons. It was not Michal who had five sons. 2SA 8:4 David captured 1,700 horsemen. 1CH 18:4 David captured 7,000 horsemen. 1Chrn registered the total number of horsemen captured which is 7,000. 2SA 24:1 The Lord inspired David to take the census. 1CH 21:1 Satan inspired the census. Satan tempted David to conduct the census 1Chrn 21:1. God knew what shall be in Davids heart and this angered Him and He let Satan to enticed David to sin 2Sam 24:1. 2SA 24:9 The census count was: Israel 800,000 and Judah 500,000. 1CH 21:5 The census count was: Israel 1,100,000 and Judah 470,000. 1 Chrn 21:5 made it clear there where all in all 1,100,000 and 470,000 who drew the sword among the men. 2SA 24:10-17 David sinned in taking the census. 1KI 15:5 David's only sin (ever) was in regard to another matter.

2 Sam 24:1 said the anger of the Lord burned against Israel. Although it was David who commanded the Census everybody participated and none stood against even it was abhorrent to Joab his commander. 2SA 24:24 David paid 50 shekels of silver for the purchase of a property to Araunah the Jebusite. 1CH 21:22-25 He paid 600 shekels of gold to Ornan the Jebusite. The 50 shekels of silver was the cost of the threshing floor with the instruments and the oxen 1Sam 24:21-24. The 600 shekels of gold was the full price David paid for site or whole property to the same person 1Chrn 21:22-25. 1KI 3:12 God made Solomon the wisest man that ever lived, yet .... 1KI 11:1-13 Solomon loved many foreign women (against God's explicit prohibition) who turned him to other gods (for which he deserved death). He was the wisest man but it didnt say that Solomon would not sin. 1KI 3:12, 4:29, 10:23-24, 2CH 9:22-23 God made Solomon the wisest king and the wisest man that ever lived. There never has been nor will be another like him. MT 12:42, LK 11:31 Jesus says: "... now one greater than Solomon is here. Not to surpass Solomons knowledge and wisdom but greater because of the simple truth of repenting and believing Christs words.

1 KINGS
1KI 4:26 Solomon had 40,000 stalls of horses for his chariots. 2CH 9:25 He had 4,000 stalls for horses and chariots. It is clear that 4,000 stalls are for horses and chariots that were stationed in the cities 2Chrn 9:25. The 40,000 stalls are for horses for his chariots. There should be more stalls for all his horses 1Kin 4:26. 1KI 5:16 Solomon had 3,300 supervisors. 2CH 2:2 He had 3,600 supervisors. Well the maximum supervisors reached to 3,600 at the counting at Chronicles. 1KI 7:15-22 The two pillars were 18 cubits high each. 2CH 3:15-17 They were 35 cubits high. 1Kin 7:15 mentioned 18 cubit was the height of each pillar. 2Chrn 3:15 it was 35 cubits high more or less for the 2 pillars combined. 1KI 7:26 Solomon's "molten sea" held 2000 "baths" (1 bath = about 8 gallons). 2CH 4:5 It held 3000 "baths." 23

2Chrn 4:5 showed the maximum number of baths or gallons they could hold. 1KI 8:12, 2CH 6:1, PS 18:11 God dwells in thick darkness. 1TI 6:16 God dwells in unapproachable light. God can dwell on both. He is everywhere. 1KI 8:13, AC 7:47 Solomon, whom God made the wisest man ever, built his temple as an abode for God. AC 7:48-49 God does not dwell in temples built by men. They have different contexts. 1Kin 8:13 showed that God commanded Solomon to build a house for Him where His name can dwell and where they can offer sacrifices. His presence and glory comes down in the Temple in Jerusalem 1Kin 8:11. It is in Heaven where God dwells Ps 102:19, 103:19. Act 7:48-49 showed that God does not dwell on temples built by men. This temple was not commanded by God to be built but by men. In 70 AD the Temple of Jerusalem was destroyed as it was prophesied by Christ Mt 24:1-2. They were destroyed when Israel rejected Christ Mt 23:37-39. Today God dwells in the believers the temple of God 1Cor 3:17, 6:19, 2Cor 6:16, Heb 3:6. 1KI 9:28 420 talents of gold were brought back from Ophir. 2CH 8:18 450 talents of gold were brought back from Ophir. The total was 450 talents of gold brought back. 1KI 15:14 Asa did not remove the high places. 2CH 14:2-3 He did remove them. Later Asa removed them all. 1Kings 15:12 showed he removed the idols and in verse 14 his heart was fully committed to the Lord. This paved the way to remove the high places later as he commanded Israel to worship Yahweh alone and keep His commandments. 1KI 16:6-8 Baasha died in the 26th year of King Asa's reign. 2CH 16:1 Baasha fortified Ramah in the 36th year of King Asa's reign. Both stories are true. Since Baasha died in the 26th year of Asa's reign, he could not have come up against Judah 10 years later. It is likely that the reference to the 36th year in 2Chrn 16:1 means the 36th year since the division of the two kingdoms, which fell during the reign of Asa or 36th year since the beginning of the kingdom of Judah. Rehoboam reigned 17 years, his son Abijah reigned 3 years, and at the occurrence of this time, Asa had reigned 16 years. Baasha would die 10 years after this event. So 26 years according to the author of Kings and 36 years according to the author of Chronicles. 1KI 16:23 Omri became king in the thirty-first year of Asa's reign and he reigned for a total of twelve years. 1KI 16:28-29 Omri died, and his son Ahab became king in the thirty- eighth year of Asa's reign.

Omri total reign was 12 years but on his eight year of reign his son Ahab reign on his behalf. When Omri died on the 12th year Ahab his son begun his reign and that is on the thirty-eight year of Asas reign. 1KI 22:23, 2CH 18:22, 2TH 2:11 God himself causes a lying spirit. PR 12:22 God abhors lying lips and delights in honesty. God is able to do that to bring them into their destruction because King Ahab disobeyed the Lord and walked wickedly 1Kin 16:30-33. This was confirmed by Micaiah the prophet. The lie of his prophets King Ahab shall win the war 1Kin 22:6. The truth he shall be destroyed 1Kin 22:23. The result he was killed 1Kin 22:34-35. 1KI 22:42-43 Jehoshaphat did not remove the high places. 2CH 17:5-6 He did remove them. Later he removed them. 1 Kings 22:45 said the rest of his acts were recorded in the Book of Chronicles of the Kings. In the Book of the Kings they still sacrifice in the high places and in the Book of Chronicles verse 6 Jehoshapat took pride in the ways of the Lord and it said, moreover, again or furthermore he removed them. 2KI 2:11 Elijah went up to heaven. JN 3:13 Only the Son of Man (Jesus) has ever ascended to heaven. 2CO 12:2-4 An unnamed man, known to Paul, went up to heaven and came back. HE 11:5 Enoch was translated to heaven. There are two characteristics here that describe who is that no one that is ascended to and descended from heaven and that is only the Son of Man. Before He ascended into heaven he first descended from it. It is because Jesus came from heaven first. Elijah, the unmarried man, Enoch and this will include all the believers will go to heaven in Paradise and it is because God called them.

2 KINGS
2KI 4:32-37 A dead child is raised (well before the time of Jesus). MT 9:18-25, JN 11:38-44 Two dead persons are raised (by Jesus himself). AC 26:23 Jesus was the first to rise from the dead. The resurrection of Christ possessed spiritual and glorified body that shall never die or perish 1Cor 15:20-23, 1Thess 4;16-17, `1Jn 3:2. The rest who resurrected died again. 2KI 8:25-26 Ahaziah was 22 years old when he began his reign. 2CH 22:2 He was 42 when he began his reign. Ahaziah was 22 years old because his father King Jehoram was 32 when he became king and reign 8 years. He was 40 years old when he died and Ahaziah became king 2Chrn 21:5, 20, 2Kn 8:17,24. Ahaziah reigned only 1 year. 22 is 25

his age when he reigned as confirmed by both the book of the Kings and Chronicles. 2KI 9:27 Jehu shot Ahaziah near Ibleam. Ahaziah fled to Meggido and died there. 2CH 22:9 Ahaziah was found hiding in Samaria, brought to Jehu, and put to death. First Ahaziah was found hiding in Samaria. Jehu ordered his men to kill him. It was his men who shot him not Jehu. He fled to Meggido and there wounded he died and they buried him. 2KI 16:5 The King of Aram and the son of the King of Israel did not conquer King Ahaz of Judah. 2CH 28:5-6 They did conquer Ahaz . In 2 Kings was their first attacked and wasnt successful. Ahaz even allied with the King of Assyria. The rest of his acts were recorded in the Book of the Chronicles. As King Ahaz of Judah continued to sin against the Lord he was defeated by King Rezin of Aram and King Pekah of Israel and brought their captives 2Chron 28:4-5. King Rezin did drove out the people of Judah from Elath 1Kin 16:6. 2KI 24:8 Jehoiachin (Jehoiakim) was eighteen years old when he began to reign. 2CH 36:9 He was eight. He was eighteen years old when he reign. An eight year old boy is not yet capable to reign. He reigned only 3 months. 2KI 24:8 Jehoiachin (Jehoiakim) reigned three months. 2CH 36:9 He reigned three months and ten days. Ten days excess is still part of the 3 months reign. 2KI 24:17 Jehoiachin (Jehoaikim) was succeeded by his uncle. 2CH 36:10 He was succeeded by his brother. His uncle is called his brother or a kinsman. That means from his family. Mattaniah or Zedekiah his uncle is the brother of King Jehoahaz whose mother was Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah. She was from Libnah 2Kin 23:31, 2 Kin 24:18.

1 CHRONICLES
1CH 3:11-13 The lineage is: Joram, Ahaziah, Joash, Amaziah, Azariah, Jotham. MT 1:8-9 It is: Joram, Uzziah, Jotham, etc. 1Chronicles has complete lineage and Matthew skipped 3 sons. Matthew wasnt wrong because the lineage wasnt broke from their earliest ancestors. 26

1CH 3:19 Pedaiah was the father of Zerubbabel. ER 3:2 Shealtiel was the father of Zerubbabel. There are 2 persons here with the same name. Pedaiah and Shealtiel are brothers and their father is Jeconiah in 1Chrn 3:17-18 and Matthew 1:12-13.

2 CHRONICLES
2CH 19:7, AC 10:34, RO 2:11 There is no injustice or partiality with the Lord. RO 9:15-18 God has mercy on (and hardens the hearts of) whom he pleases. God never gets wrong. He knew everybody and what is in us. God never commits mistakes. He hardens the wicked that He knows will never bow to Him. Pharoah Ex 14:4, the Egyptians Ex 14:17, the wicked 2Thess 2:11-12

EZRA
ER 2:3-64 (Gives the whole congregation as 42,360 while the actual sum of the numbers is about 29,818.) Neh 7:66 (Gives the whole congregation as 42,360 while the actual sum of the numbers is 31,089.) The whole assembly was 42,360 which included those that were not recorded but returned to Israel. JB 2:3-6, 21:7-13, 2TI 3:12 The godly are persecuted and chastised but the wicked grow old, wealthy, and powerful, unchastised by God. PS 55:23, 92:12-14, PR 10:2-3, 27-31, 12:2, 21 The lives of the wicked are cut short. The righteous flourish and obtain favor from the Lord. It seems they prosper but in Jb 8:22, 15:20, 18:5, 20:5, 21:30 Job tells us that their time are shortened, they are reserved for calamity, they are punished and not held guiltless. The wicked spend their days in prosperity and suddenly go down to Sheol (hell) Jb 21:13. He does not keep the wicked alive but gives justice to the afflicted Jb 36:6.

PSALMS
PS 10:1 God cannot be found in time of need. He is "far off." PS 145:18 God is near to all who call upon him in truth. David was just asking a question in Psalms 10:1 because the wicked proudly pursue the afflicted but he knows God will not forsake as seen in verses 12 to 18. PS 22:1-2 God sometimes forsakes his children. He does not answer. PS 46:1 God is a refuge, a strength, a very present help.

Psalms 22:1 is a prophecy that Jesus would say at His crucifixion. Also again it seems that God sometimes forsakes His children but Gods delays are not His denials. Everything has its time under God. He wanted us to fully trust Him because He is our refuge, strength and help. PS 30:5, JE 3:12, MI 7:18 God's anger does not last forever. JE 17:4, MT 25:46 It does last forever. (He has provided for eternal punishment.) When we repent and justice is given Gods anger subsides. The wicked who shall forsake God shall incur the just punishment of their rebellion with God. Their sins brought them to eternal punishment. How can they be in heaven with God if they reject Him and His ways? PS 58:8 Snails melt The Hebrew word here is temec, and this is the only place where it appears in the Bible. Strong's says that the main meaning here is liquefaction, with a root in a word referring to dissolution. All agree that slugs and snails leave a trail behind as they move -- this is not something that is hard to observe or unknown. And of course, it is obvious that this liquid comes from their own bodies -- and presumably, especially in a hot, desert climate like Palestine's, a snail that doesn't find a source of moisture to replenish itself is going to eventually shrivel away: hence the comparison to the "untimely birth of a woman." For this objection to work, it would have to be assumed that temec means "dissolve" in the sense that snow, for example, melts -- but there is no point of comparison, and no reason why this word cannot refer to the dehydration process we describe. PS 58:10-11 The righteous shall rejoice when he sees vengeance. PR 24:16-18 Do not rejoice when your enemy falls or stumbles. Rejoice when justice is given and righteousness prevail but do not rejoice over their failures. PS 78:69, EC 1:4, 3:14 The earth was established forever. Wine is not evil per se. It is to be drunken by it that makes it a sin. The water turned to wine by Jesus didnt make the people drunk. It was a good wine. There are fermented wines and unfermented wines.

PROVERBS
PR 3:13, 4:7, 19:8, JA 1:5 Happy is the man who finds wisdom. Get wisdom. LK 2:40, 52 Jesus was filled with wisdom and found favor with God. 1CO 1:19-25, 3:18-20 Wisdom is foolishness. Wisdom that this world gives is foolishness for they pass away but the wisdom from God that is with faith and love endures forever. PR 12:2, RO 8:28 A good man obtains favor from the Lord. 2TI 3:12, HE 12:6 The godly will be persecuted. God favors a good man but the world hates Him but Jesus said to have courage because He has overcome the world. PR 14:8 The wisdom of a prudent man is to discern his way. MT 6:25-34 Take no thought for tomorrow. God will take care of you. Both are right we have to discern right or wrong and God will take care of tomorrow. Jesus said do not worry for your life what you shall eat or wear enough is the trouble of the day Matt 6:25, 34. Be wise. PR 14:15-18 The simple believe everything and acquire folly; the prudent look where they are going and are crowned with knowledge. MT 18:3, LK 18:17 You must believe as little children do. 1CO 1:20, 27 God has made the wisdom of the world foolish so as to shame the wise. Yes the prudent looks at things wisely. Believe as children when it comes to God for they are innocent and trustful. The wisdom of this world is different from the wisdom that is from God. PR 16:4 God made the wicked for the "day of evil." PR 8:13, 16:6 It is the fear of God that keeps men from evil. 1JN 4:18 There is no fear in love. Perfect love drives out fear. 1JN 5:2, 2JN 1:6 Those who love God keep his commandments. Fear of God means to obey Him and keep His commandments. There is no fear in love or perfect love drives out fear means when we give love fear which is untrusting, doubt or being unsettled is driven out. JE 20:7, EZ 14:9, 2TH 2:11-12 God himself deceives people. The word of God is tested. No one can disprove it. Some of the Jews and their scribes rejected the law of the Lord. They say they are not true and they say His prophets are lying but the word of God was proven true when judgment came to them. The wicked rejected and rebelled against the Lord and they were hardened more. God knew they wont repent.

ISAIAH
IS 3:13 God stands to judge. JL 3:12 He sits to judge. Well it doesnt matter whether God sits or stands when judging. He can do both. IS 44:24 God created heaven and earth alone. JN 1:1-3 Jesus took part in creation. If we look at the Hebrew translation the God who was mentioned here was Yahweh. Deut 6:4 said, Hear O Israel, the LORD (Yahweh) is our God (Elohim plural of Eli), Yahweh is one (echad/ unified). God here is plural and unified/one. So Jn 1:1-3 is correct because it said and the word was God. The Scripture confirmed Jesus took part in creation. All things was made by Him and through Him Heb 1:8-10, Ps 45:6-7, 102:25-27, Prov 8:22-30, 30:4, Col 1:15-16, Rev 3:14. And the Holy Spirit Gen 1:1-2, Jb 33:4. IS 53:9 Usually taken to be a prophecy re: Jesus, mentions burial with others. MT 27:58-60, MK 15:45-46, LK 23:52-53, JN 19:38-42 Jesus was buried by himself. Jesus was put to death with two criminals. Is 53:9 says His grave was assigned with wicked men, yet he was with a rich man at his death. Joseph of 30

Arimathea was the rich man who took Jesus body and laid it on a new tomb Matt 27:57-60.

JEREMIAH
JE 12:13 Some sow wheat but reap thorns. MI 6:15 Some sow but won't reap anything. MT 25:26, LK 19:22 Some reap without sowing. 2CO 9:6, GA 6:7 A man reaps what he sows. Reaping of course differs with every man because every man is rewarded according to his faith and works. It is God who rewards. JE 32:18 God shows love to thousands, but brings punishment for the sins of their fathers to many children. 2CO 13:11, 14, 1JN 4:8, 16 God is a God of love. When the sin is not cut off from their ancestors and is practice unto their descendants God judges. JE 34:4-5 Zedekiah was to die in peace. JE 52:10-11 Instead, Zedekaih's sons are slain before his eyes, his eyes are then put out, he is bound in fetters, taken to Babylon and left in prison to die. Jer 34:15-22 make the statement complete. When Zedekiah obeyed God that was the pronouncement but later he disobeyed and judgment came.

EZEKIEL
EZ 20:25-26 The law was not good. The sacrifice of children was for the purpose of horrifying the people so that they would know that God is Lord. RO 7:12, 1TI 1:8 The law is good. God rejected that offering of their sons to idols and other gods which they learned from other nations Ezek 20:30-32. Their gifts were pronounced unclean. They have rejected His ordinances, laws and statutes and they shall be scattered so that they shall know that He is the Lord. Ezek 20:21-26. EZ 26:15-21 God says that Tyre will be destroyed and will never be found again. (Nebudchanezzar failed to capture or destroy Tyre. It is still inhabited.) In Ezekiel 26:3, the prophet said that Tyre, the Phoenician Empire's most powerful city, would be attacked by many nations, because of its treatment of Israel. At about the time that Ezekiel delivered this prophecy, Babylon had begun a 13-year attack on Tyre's mainland. Later, in about 332 BC, Alexander the Great conquered the island of Tyre and brought an end to the Phoenician Empire. Tyre later fell under the rule of the Romans, the Crusaders and the Moslems, who destroyed the city, again, in 1291.

In Ezekiel 26:21, the prophet said that the Phoenician city of Tyre would be brought to an end and would never again be found. When Alexander the Great destroyed the city in 332 BC, he brought an end to the Phoenician Empire. The Empire was never revived or "found" again. As for the city itself, it has been torn down and built upon by a succession of world powers. Today, finding artifacts from the original Phoenician Tyre is difficult. According to the Columbia Encyclopedia, Fifth Edition: "The principal ruins of the city today are those of buildings erected by the Crusaders. There are some Greco-Roman remains, but any left by the Phoenicians lie underneath the present town."

DANIEL
DN 5:1 (Gives the title of "king" to Belshazzar although Belshazzar was actually the "viceroy.") Belshazzar was the son of Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon. He inherited the throne of the kingdom Dan 5:1-2, 11. DN 5:2 (Says that Nebuchadnezzar was the father of Belshazzar, but actually, Nebonidus was the father of Belshazzar.) Its Nebuchadnezzar.

ZECHERAIAH
ZE 11:12-13 Mentions "thirty pieces" and could possibly be thought to be connected with the Potter's Field prophesy referred to in Matthew. MT 27:9 Jeremiah is given as the source of the prophesy regarding the purchase of the Potter's Field. (Note: There is no such prophesy in Jeremiah.) The Old Testament are divided into 3 parts the Law, The Prophets and the Psalms. Jeremiah was the first book in the Prophets. What Matthew alluded was from the book of the Prophets which Jeremiah is the first book it was prophesied. The Jews understands that the First prophet named in the book considered the rest of the prophets.

MATTHEW
MT 1:6-7 The lineage of Jesus is traced through David's son, Solomon. LK 3:23-31 It is traced through David's son, Nathan. Matthew shows the genealogy of Joseph. The key word in Matthew 1:16 was Jacob was the father of Joseph the husband of Mary. This is Josephs lineage. Luke shows us the genealogy of Mary from whom Jesus was born. Therefore this is the genealogy of Jesus. The key word in Luke 3:23 was Jesus being, as was supposed, the son of Joseph. It tells us that Jesus was not really the Son of Joseph in the flesh. Marys and Jesus ancestor was from David and Judah the son of Jacob.

MT 1:16 Jacob was Joseph's father. LK 3:23 Heli was Joseph's father. Heli was Marys father. The reason is that genealogies are named after men and not after women. There was a statement Jesus, as was supposed, the son of Joseph. Joseph was the husband of Mary. MT 1:17 There were twenty-eight generations from David to Jesus. LK 3:23-38 There were forty-three. Matthew just skipped the other generations but that doesnt negate anything. The fact remains that indeed Jesus was a descendant from Judah and David as fulfillment of the prophecy. MT 1:18-21 The Annunciation occurred after Mary had conceived Jesus. LK 1:26-31 It occurred before conception. The second appearance of the angel was to Joseph in a dream because he is planning to divorce her quietly. He does not want to put Mary in shame in public because shes going to give birth to a Son who is from the Most High. The angel said that she is going to have a Son and give Him the name Jesus because he will save His people from their sins Mt 1:21. MT 1:20 The angel spoke to Joseph. LK 1:28 The angel spoke to Mary. Two appearances, two different people, two different situations and two different times MT 1:20-23, LK 1:26-33 An angel announces to Joseph and/or Mary that the child (Jesus) will be "great," the "son of the Most High," etc., and .... MT 3:13-17, MK 1:9-11 The baptism of Jesus is accompanied by the most extraordinary happenings, yet .... MK 3:21 Jesus' own relatives (or friends) attempt to constrain him, thinking that he might be out of his mind, and .... MK 6:4-6 Jesus says that a prophet is without honor in his own house (which certainly should not have been the case considering the Annunciation and the Baptism). It was clear Jesus was not accepted first by his brothers and sisters by Joseph. Later He was. James His brother was one of the apostles. MT 1:23 He will be called Emmanuel (or Immanuel). MT 1:25 Instead, he was called Jesus. Jesus means Yahweh which means Yahweh saves. Jesus was Yahweh or God in us who saves. All Christians believe Jesus is God in us. We call Him Immanuel. MT 2:13-16 Following the birth of Jesus, Joseph and Mary flee to Egypt, (where they stay until after Herod's death) in order to avoid the murder of their firstborn by Herod. Herod slaughters all male infants two years old and 33

under. (Note: John the Baptist, Jesus' cousin, though under two is somehow spared without fleeing to Egypt.) God is able to spare John the Baptist. LK 2:22-40 Following the birth of Jesus, Joseph and Mary remain in the area of Jerusalem for the Presentation (about forty days) and then return to Nazareth without ever going to Egypt. There is no slaughter of the infants. That night when Jesus was born they fled to Egypt Mt 2;13-14. Herod immediately ordered the slaughter of every 2 years and younger after knowing that the wise men tricked him. It was not a daily killing. God is able to protect Mary and Jesus to fulfill His words when they went to Jerusalem. Jesus according to the Law has to be presented. In Matthew 2:19-23 the angel informed them that Herod who sought their life is dead and they can go back to Galilee and live in Nazareth. MT 2:23 "And he went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets: He will be called a Nazarene.'" (This prophecy is not found in the OT and while Jesus is often referred to as "Jesus of Nazareth", he is seldom referred to as "Jesus the Nazarene.") There were prophecies that were spoken and not written. There were many prophets in Israel that time 1King 18:4, Ezr 5:1-3. A prophecy to be true should happen written or unwritten does not affect Gods words. The bible said even said that there are many things that Jesus did that was not written in the book Jn 20:30. MT 3:11-14, JN 1:31-34 John realized the true identity of Jesus (as the Messiah) either prior to the actual Baptism, or from the Baptism onward. The very purpose of John's baptism was to reveal Jesus to Israel. MT 11:2-3 After the Baptism, John sends his disciples to ask if Jesus is the Messiah. John was imprisoned. He begun to doubt that is why Jesus told his disciples to inform John the Baptist the blind see, the lame walk, the dead rise from the dead and the gospel preached to the poor Mt 11:2-6. MT 3:12, 13:42 Hell is a furnace of fire (and must therefore be light). MT 8:12, 22:13, 25:30 Hell is an "outer darkness" (and therefore dark). Darkness means there is no life. Darkness means death. There are sufferings in Hell where the fire does not quench. They are separated from God for ever. God is light with out Him is darkness. It is outer darkness because they are separated and far from the Light. MT 3:16, MK 1:10 It was Jesus who saw the Spirit descending. JN 1:32 It was John who saw the Spirit descending. Both saw the Spirit descending. 34

MT 3:17 The heavenly voice addressed the crowd: "This is my beloved Son." MK 1:11, LK 3:22 The voice addressed Jesus: "You are my beloved Son...." The writers intention was to confirm the fact that Jesus was Gods beloved Son whom the Father loved and was well pleased. Their statements didnt change any. MT 4:1-11, MK 1:12-13 Immediately following his Baptism, Jesus spent forty days in the wilderness resisting temptation by the Devil. JN 2:1-11 Three days after the Baptism, Jesus was at the wedding in Cana. It was the third day after Jesus chose His apostles that He went to the wedding in Cana Jn 1:35-50. Jesus begun choosing His disciples that was after His 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness Mt 4:18 and in Mt 4:1-11. Jesus was tempted by the devil. MT 4:5-8 The Devil took Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple, then to the mountain top. LK 4:5-9 First to the mountain top, then to the pinnacle of the temple. There are two events here and not necessarily in order one in the pinnacle of the temple and the other in the mountain top. The intention was Jesus was tempted but resisted the devil. MT 4:18-20, MK 1:16-18 (One story about choosing Peter as a disciple.) LK 5:2-11 (A different story.) JN 1:35-42 (Still another story.) Luke 5 is a detailed story of Matthew and Mark. Johns account is another encounter by Andrew and Simon or Peter with Jesus. Here Jesus called Simon as Cephas or Peter and the next day He called Philip and Nathaniel. In Matthew and Mark are one story where Jesus met them fishing and asked them to come after Him and shall be fishers of men. After this he called the brothers James and John. MT 5:1 - 7:29 Jesus delivers his most noteworthy sermon while on the mount. LK 6:17-49 Jesus delivers his most noteworthy sermon while on the plain. (Note: No such sermons are mentioned in either MK or JN and Paul seems totally unfamiliar with either the sermon on the mount or the sermon on the plain.) Jesus said both sermons on the mount and on the plain. First He taught a large crowd when He went up the mountain. And after teaching He went down the mountain still large crowds from different places followed Him and He healed and taught them Mt 7:28- 8:1, Lk 6:17-18. After these two events He went into Capernaum Mt 8:5, Lk 7:1. The difference between the events of the two sermons at the sermon in the mount Jesus did not heal while at the sermon in the plain Jesus healed. There are some events that are not mentioned in other gospel writings such as in Mark and John depending on the focus of the writer. Paul taught of love, justice, righteousness, peace, persecutions, helping the poor and relationships with God and men.

MT 5:16 Good works should be seen. MT 6:1-4 They should be kept secret. Let others glorify God by your good works. Do not boast of your good works. It is said actions speak louder than words. By our good works evil men shall be silenced and glorify God. MT 5:17-19, LK 16:17 Jesus underscores the permanence of the law. LE 10:8 - 11:47, DT 14:3-21 The law distinguishes between clean and unclean foods. MK 7:14-15, MK 7:18-19 Jesus says that there is no such distinction. 1TI 4:1-4 All foods are clean according to Paul. When Christ came He fulfilled the requirement of the Law. He satisfied what the Law is asking. He offered Himself for our justification. He came to fulfill and complete the Law. A new covenant was established because Israel broke the Law or the first covenant. Jesus gave the full meaning, understanding and application of the Law. Also the moral Law of God didnt pass away. This is observed in the New Covenant Rom 13:8-10. MT 5:17-19, LK 16:17 Jesus did not come to abolish the law. EP 2:13-15, HE 7:18-19 Jesus did abolish the law. The first Law was found weak and useless. It made nothing perfect. God through Jeremiah prophesied of a new covenant shall be established because Israel broke the first covenant Jer 31:31-32. Jesus enacted that new covenant by His blood Lk 22:20, Mt 26:28. He is the fulfillment of the first covenant. The new covenant was now better and perfect. It makes the believer holy and righteous before God because of the ransom made by the Son of God when He offered Himself to God without spot and blameless Heb 10:10-12. Ephesians and Hebrews are saying the same. Since Christ met the requirement of the Law for us it has therefore no effect on those who repent and put their faith in Christ Col 2:13-17. What passed away are the ceremonial laws and its ordinances the observation of days and food, festivals are shadows of the reality to come Christ Jesus Col 2:16-17. The moral law stayed Rom 3:8-10. MT 5:22 Anyone who calls another a fool is liable to Hell. MT 7:26 Jesus says that anyone who hears his words and does not do them is a fool. (Note: The translation now prevalent, "like a foolish man," in MT 7:26 is a dishonest attempt to alleviate the obvious inconsistency here in that the oldest Greek manuscripts use the same Greek word translated "fool" in MT 5:22 and "like a foolish man" in MT 7:26.) MT 23:17-19 Jesus twice calls the Pharisees blind fools. MT 25:2, 3, 8 Jesus likens the maidens who took no oil to fools. (Note: Again, this is the same Greek word translated "fool" in MT 5:22 and MT 23:17-19.) 1CO 1:23, 3:18, 4:10 Paul uses fool with regard to Christians becoming fools for Christ. (Note: Again, this is the same Greek word translated "fool" in MT 5:22 and MT 23:17-19.) We are not to curse others as fools that is what Mt 5:22 is saying. Jesus and Paul didnt curse when they say those in error and do not believe Christ and His words are foolish men. They are not wise in this condition. Indeed those 36

who hear not Gods words become fools. The Bible also records, the fool says there is no God. They are corrupt, and have committed abominable injustices. There is no one who does good. The fool does no good Ps 53:1. Proverbs describes the wicked as fools. MT 5:22 Anger by itself is a sin. EP 4:26 Anger is not necessarily a sin. MT 11:22-24, LK 10:13-15 Jesus curses the inhabitants of several cities who are not sufficiently impressed with his mighty works. MT 21:19, MK 11:12-14 Jesus curses a fig tree when it fails to bear fruit out of season. MK 3:5 Jesus looks around "angrily." There are two types of anger in the Bible. Anger against wrongdoing is right but not anger toward a person. God and Jesus got angry at wrong doing and when the people didnt repent they were punished.. Proverbs spoke anger of man or being hot tempered is not right. When cursing, slander, strife, enmity and murder come from anger it is evil. Paul said in your anger do not sin and this is what he meant. Jesus the bible said knew no sin. It was righteous judgment on His part. He is the judge and ruler. MT 5:32 Divorce, except on the grounds of unchastity, is wrong. MK 10:11-12 Divorce on any grounds is wrong. In Matthew 5 Jesus made clear the exemption fornication. MT 5:39, MT 5:44 Jesus says: "Do not resist evil. Love your enemies." MT 22:18, 23:13-15, 17, 19, 27, 29, 33, MK 7:6, LK 11:40, 44, 12:56 Jesus repeatedly hurls epithets at his opponents. Jesus was telling the truth and exposing the real conditions of these wicked spiritual leaders of His time and He was rebuking them also. Greater shall be their condemnation on judgment day. MT 5:39, MT 5:44 Do not resist evil. Love your enemies. LK 19:27 God is likened to one who destroys his enemies. On Gods part it is judgment on the wicked. MT 5:39, MT 5:44 Do not resist evil. Love your enemies. 2JN 1:9-11 Shun anyone who does not hold the proper doctrine. MT 5:43-44, MT 22:39 Love your enemies. Love your neighbor as yourself. MT 10:5 Go nowhere among the Gentiles nor enter a Samaritan town. JN 8:58-59 Jesus hid himself, apparently to avoid being stoned. Separate from wrong teachings. In Mt 10:5 the disciples were instructed no to go yet to the gentiles for it is not yet time. Later they were sent to the gentiles, to all nations Mt 28:19. In John 8:58-59 it was not yet time for Jesus to suffer and die. We are not taught to let ourselves be killed by evil men. If we protect our lives that is far better than to die without a righteous cause.

MT 5:45, 7:21 God resides in heaven. MK 13:32 The angels reside in heaven AC 7:55, HE 12:2 Jesus is at the right hand of God, in heaven. 1PE 1:3-4 Believers will inherit eternal life in heaven. MT 24:35, MK 13:31, LK 21:33 Heaven will pass away. There will be a new heaven and earth. He makes all things new Rev 21:1-5. MT 6:13 God might lead us into temptation and it is better avoided. JA 1:2-3 Temptation is joy. MT 6:13 Jesus' prayer implies that God might lead us into temptation. JA 1:13 God tempts no one. Mt 6:13 does not mean it is God that leads us into temptation. We know God is holy and hates sin. Rather it meant that He would not allow us into temptation. God would deliver us from temptation and evil 2Thess 3:3, 2Tim 4:18. God does not tempt by evil nor does he tempt anyone James 1:13. James 1:2 spoke of various trials or troubles and not temptations from sin. MT 6:25-34, LK 12:22-31 Take no thought for tomorrow. God will take care of you. 1TI 5:8 A man who does not provide for his family is worse than an infidel. (Note: Providing for a family certainly involves taking "thought for tomorrow.") Take no thought of tomorrow meant not to worry. Even when we provide for our family we are not to worry. Taking no thought of tomorrow does not teach that we just sit down and not work to eat and live but to trust God in all situations. MT 7:1-2 Do not judge. MT 7:15-20 Instructions for judging a false prophet. We are not to judge others for we all have sinned. We all commit mistakes and wrongs. God alone is our judge. We are advised to distinguish a false prophet. Beware of them foe they will lead our souls to damnation. MT 7:7-8, LK 11:9-10 Ask and it will be given. Seek and you will find. LK 13:24 Many will try to enter the Kingdom but will be unable. Many try to enter by their own ways and their own righteousness and by the righteousness God has established through Christ. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life. MT 7:21 Not everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. AC 2:21, RO 10:13 Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. AC 2:39 Those God calls to himself will be saved. Those who call on the name of the Lord, repent of their sins and put their faith in Christ shall be saved. Those who call but continue in their wickedness and not repent shall not be saved Mt 7:21-23. 38

MT 7:21, LK 10:36-37, RO 2:6, 13, JA 2:24 Justified by works, not by faith. JN 3:16, RO 3:20-26, EP 2:8-9, GA 2:16 Justified by faith, not by works. Both verses are right but taken together should be put in the right context. Justification by works means true faith is confirmed and evidenced by works. Faith without works is dead. It can be seen. You can know a man with true faith if you can see his changed life and good works. Works are seen after true faith is established. Now when we speak of righteousness of God apart from works that means God established a righteousness where He shall justify us. That righteousness is by faith in Christ. This time salvation is based on the works of Christ on the cross. But it never teaches that there shall be no fruits or good works. Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:8-9 for we are saved by grace through faith not of works lest anyone should boast. Verse 10 for we are His workmanship created for good works. First we should be saved by grace through faith in Christ and then good works follows. To be saved is to show repentance to God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ Act 20:20-21. MT 8:5-12 The centurion himself approaches Jesus to ask to heal his servant. LK 7:2-10 The centurion sends elders to do the asking. Actually Matthew made a different approach in expressing the faith of the centurion. He gave more emphasis on the centurion by not mentioning the servants he sent in his behalf. He made it appear he is present with Jesus because his servants relayed the message exactly to Jesus. Even though he sent his servants to Jesus it just meant that he was there also present with him. He said he too have people under his authority. He commands and they follow. If only Jesus would say the words and his servant shall be healed. Jesus was amazed with the faith of the centurion and the servant was healed simultaneously. MT 8:16, LK 4:40 Jesus healed all that were sick. MK 1:32-34 Jesus healed many (but not all). In some cases not all because of their unbelief Mk 6:5-6. Mk 1:32 -34 said they brought all those who were sick and He healed many. Many there could mean all those who were sick because all is many also. MT 8:28-33 Two demoniacs are healed in the Gadarene swine incident. MK 5:2-16, LK 8:26-36 One demoniac is healed in this incident. Mark and Luke focused only on one demoniac. MT 9:18 The ruler's daughter was already dead when Jesus raised her. LK 8:42 She was dying, but not dead. Lk 8:49 she died while Jesus was speaking. Both Matthew and Luke declared her dead. Jesus said she is just sleeping and He raised her but they all knew she was dead. MT 10:1-8 Jesus gives his disciples the power to exorcise and heal... MT 17:14-16 (Yet) the disciples are unable to do so. 39

Jesus taught them that this comes by faith. They had little faith at that time. They were new in the ministry but later on when Jesus was taken up into heaven they were filled with the Spirit and power Act 4:30-31, Heb 2:4. MT 10:2, MK 3:16-19 The twelve apostles (disciples) were: Simon (Peter), Andrew his brother, James the son of Zebedee, John his brother, Philip, Bartholemew, Thomas, Matthew the tax collector, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus (Labbaeus), Simon, and Judas Iscariot. LK 6:13-16 The above except that Thaddaeus (Labbaeus) is excluded, and Judas the son of James is added (and Judas Iscariot remains). AC 1:13, 26 Same as MT and MK except that, like LK Thaddaeus (Labbaeus) is excluded, Judas the son of James is included, and Mathias is chosen by the others to replace Judas Iscariot. Thaddaeus is also Judas the son of James MT 10:2, 5-6 Peter was to be an apostle to the Jews and not go near the Gentiles. AC 15:7 He was an apostle to the Gentiles. Before Jesus resurrected they minister only to the Jews but after that he commanded them to make disciples of all nations Mt 28:19-20. MT 10:10 Do not take sandals (shoes) or staves. MK 6:8-9 Take sandals (shoes) and staves. Matthew 10 was the first time Jesus sent the twelve into harvest. Mark 6 was the second time they were sent. MT 10:34, LK 12:49-53 Jesus has come to bring a sword, fire, and division-not peace. JN 16:33 Jesus says: "In me you have peace." Jesus brings peace and salvation to every believer but when he believes opposition may occur from his family, relatives or friends. The believer must choose Christ above everything. MT 10:22, 24:13, MK 13:13 He that endures to the end will be saved. MK 16:16 He that believes and is baptized will be saved. JN 3:5 Only he that is born of water and Spirit will be saved. AC 16:31 He that believes on the Lord Jesus will be saved. AC 2:21 He that calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. RO 10:9 He who confesses with his mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believes in his heart that God raised him from the dead will be saved. 1JN 4:7 He who loves is born of God (and presumably will be saved.) All these are one to be saved. When one believes after believing the Lord Jesus he shall call and confess, he is born of God, he is born of the water and spirit, he is baptized, he endures to the end.

MT 10:28, LK 12:4 Jesus says not to fear men. (Fear God only.) MT 12:15-16, JN 7:1-10, 8:59, 10:39, 11:53-54 Jesus hid, escaped, went secretly, etc. He did not fear. You cant read that. It was not yet time for Him to be delivered and die. MT 11:7-15, 17:12-13 Jesus says that John the Baptist was a prophet, and more. JN 1:21 John himself says that he is not a prophet, nor is he Elijah. He is not the Prophet that was prophesied by Moses who is to come and speak Gods words Deut 18:18. What John only knows he is the messenger Isaiah prophesied to prepare the way of the Lord Is 40:3. He meant not literally Elijah. In Lk 1:17 The angel said John was the one prophesied in Malachi: It is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, TO TURN THE HEARTS OF THE FATHERS BACK TO THE CHILDREN, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous, so as to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. Mal 4:5-6. That is why Jesus he is Elijah. MT 11:25, MK 4:11-12 Jesus thanks God for hiding some things from the wise while revealing them to "babes." He says that he uses parables so that the meaning of some of his teachings will remain hidden to at least some persons, and specifically so that they will not turn and be forgiven. MK 4:22 Jesus says that all things should be made known. It shall made be known to him who has ears to ear Mk 4:23. It is hidden to them who is not worthy to receive them. If one rejects the word of God and speak not according to it they have no light or dawn Is 8:20. MT 11:29 Jesus says that he is gentle (meek) and humble (lowly). JN 2:15 Jesus makes a whip of cords, drives the money changers from the Temple, overturns their tables, and pours out their coins. This is a different situation. Mt 11:29 says Jesus shall give rest to those who shall come to him who labor and are heavy laden. He is able to lift them up and give them comfort. In John 2:15 he drew them out the temple because the made the house of God which should be a house of prayer, a house of thieves. MT 12:5 Jesus says that the law (OT) states that the priests profane the Sabbath but are blameless. (No such statement is found in the OT). It is in the Law that they set things in order and they are allowed only to eat the consecrated bread in the altar but they gave it to David and his men when they hungered Mt 12:4-5, in Lev 24:8-9, 1 Sam 21:1-6. MT 12:30 Jesus says that those who are not with him are against him. MK 9:40 Jesus says that those who are not against him are for him. Both are synonymous either your for Him or against Him. 41

MT 12:39, MK 8:12, LK 11:29 Jesus says that he will give no "sign." JN 3:2, 20:30, AC 2:22 Jesus proceeds to give many such "signs." The evil religious leaders were doubting Jesus and were asking for a sign that is a miraculous sign from heaven. Jesus wont go down to their request because they were just testing Him. No sign shall be given to them but the sign of Jonah that is He shall be raised from the dead in three days. They doubted Him even He said He was greater than Jonah, Solomon and even the Temple. In John 3:2 the signs that Nicodemus saw was Jesus taught with great wisdom and heal many. In John 20:30 these signs were given to His disciples after He resurrected. In Act 2:22 it was God who made miracles and wonders through Jesus. MT 12:40 for just as JONAH WAS THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS IN THE BELLY OF THE SEA MONSTER, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. If He died on Friday and resurrected on Sunday that wouldnt complete the prophecy. And therefore the sign was not time factor but the event that Jonah was alive so Jesus would be alive in the heart of the earth. in Jewish thought, "three days and three nights" was a figure of speech referring to any part of three separate days. The Scirptures used it many times making a part of the days as a whole day and night - (Gen. 7:12, 17, Gen 42:17-18, 1 Saml 30:12-13, 1 Kngs. 12:5, 12, Esth. 4:16; 5:1). All prophecies state He will rise on the third day (Matthew 16: 21, 17:23, 20:19, 27:64, Luke 9:22, 18:33). Note this Mt 27:63-64. The Pharisees said to Pilate, "and said, Sir, we remember that when He was still alive that deceiver said, After three days I am to rise again. Therefore, give orders for the grave to be made secure until the third day, otherwise His disciples may come and steal Him away and say to the people, He has risen from the dead, and the last deception will be worse than the first. The Jews understood. Finally, Jesus alluded the sign of Jonah was he was in the belly three days and three nights and never said because Jonah was alive so shall the Son of Man be. Just the same in John 3:14 as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up. Jesus pointed the lifting up and not the dead serpent so with three days and three night and not that Jonah was alive. MT 13:34, MK 4:34 Jesus addressed the crowds only in parables, so that they would not fully understand. He explained the meaning only to his disciples. JN 1:1 - 21:25 (Throughout the book of John, unlike the other Gospels, Jesus addressed the crowds in a very straightforward manner. He did not employ parables.) No problem with that. MT 13:58, MK 6:5 In spite of his faith, Jesus is not able to perform mighty miracles. MT 17:20, 19:26, MK 9:23, 10:27, LK 17:6, 18:27 Jesus says that anything is possible to him who believes if he has the faith of a grain of mustard seed. All

things are possible with God. A mountain can be commanded to move and it will move. It was their lack of faith that Jesus didnt work on them. Without faith it is impossible to please God. He that comes to God must believe that He is Heb 11:6. MT 5:37, 15:19, MK 7:22, JN 8:14, 44, 14:6, 18:37 Jesus says that you should answer a plain "yes" or "no," that his purpose is to bear witness to the truth, and that his testimony is true. He equates lying with evil. JN 7:2-10 Jesus tells his brothers that he is not going to Jerusalem for the Feast of the Tabernacles, then later goes secretly by himself. He answered them clearly because they wanted Him to go there publicly because it is the feast of the Jews. Jesus said He wont come because it is not yet His time. He wont come publicly that is why He went secretly. The issue here is His public appearance and He did not lie because He didnt go publicly as He has said. MT 16:6,11 Leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. MK 8:15 Leaven of the Pharisees and Herod. Beware of their teachings. Jesus warned his disciples of their teachings or doctrines. The Pharisees, Sadducees, and Herodians (political group evolved from Herod) are three groups of people, stereotypes of people with general characteristics and thus were in their own individual sects. Each group believes a variety of things common individually, yet very different from each other. What they ALL have in common is their dislike for their little kingdoms to be rocked because Jesus walks among Israel's towns teaching the correctly applied Word of God. They all challenge Jesus, and they all test Jesus, and they all tempt Jesus to accuse Him and rid Him from their own little world. Here we see each group coming and seeking a sign of heaven that proves Jesus to be what the people are beginning to believe Him to be, Messiah. MT 16:18 Jesus founds his church on Peter and will give him the keys of the kingdom. MT 16:23 Jesus calls Peter [a] "Satan" and "a hindrance," and accuses him of being on the side of men rather than that of God. He rebuked Peter that he wont let Jesus die on the cross. He said that this comes from Satan. We know Peter is not the devil but the wrong doctrine that came into his mind that is from the devil. This statement only proves what the church believes today about the resurrection of Christ confirms the church Jesus built exists until know for almost 2,000 years and the gates of hell shall not overcome. MT 16:18 Jesus founds his church on Peter and will give him the keys of the kingdom. AC 15:1-21 James presides over the first Council of Jerusalem and formulates the decree regarding the accepting of Gentiles which is sent to the other churches.

The keys of the kingdom connote the proclamation of the gospel. It was Peter who first spoke the gospel of the kingdom and many entered and got saved that momentous day at Pentecost Act 2. Also it was not exclusive to Peter but to all the apostles because they all preached the good news. MT 17:1-2 The Transfiguration occurs six days after Jesus foretells his suffering. LK 9:28-29 It takes place about eight days afterwards. Luke used the word some or about eight days later would mean probably and not a fixed eight day period. That is why Matthew fixed it at six days after. MT 20:20-21 The mother of James and John asks Jesus a favor for her sons. MK 10:35-37 They ask for themselves. Both are correct. James and John with their mother went to Jesus to ask something from Him. Mark was not wrong to say that the two sons of Zebedee came to Jesus. They did come to Him. MT 20:23, MK 10:40 Jesus responds that it is not his to give. MT 28:18, JN 3:35 All authority has been given to Jesus. There is no problem if He left the authority to the Father to grant who shall sit beside Him. For whatever the Father decides the Son also decides. Regarding as to times and epochs that is reserved to the Father Act 1:7. MT 20:29-34 Jesus heals two blind men on the way to Jericho. MK 10:46-52 He heals one blind man. Jesus healed two blind men. Mark focused to only one. MT 21:1-17 The sequence was: triumphal entry, cleansing of the temple, Bethany. MK 11:1-19 Triumphal entry, cleansing of the temple. LK 19:28-48 Triumphal entry, cleansing of the temple, daily teaching in the temple. JN 12:1-18 Supper with Lazarus, triumphal entry, no cleansing of the temple. All these happened and the writers need not mention all at the same time and there are events that happened in between. MT 21:2-6, MK 11:2-7, LK 19:30-35 The disciples follow Jesus instructions and bring him the animal (or animals, in the case of MT). JN 12:14 Jesus finds the animal himself. There are many crowds during the triumphant entry at Jerusalem. Jesus asked His disciples to get the donkey He needed. At the celebration of the feast and at the time Jesus entered He found the donkey they brought. The reason was Jesus was not with them when they got the donkey from its owner. Jesus was in the feast already with the people praising and acclaiming Him. Then He found the donkey with his disciples and sat on it. 44

MT 21:7 Jesus rides two animals during his triumphal entry. MK 11:7, LK 19:35, JN 12:14 Only one animal is involved. The donkey was with a colt. They placed coats on them. He sat on the young donkey the colt with the coats on. MT 21:12-13 The cleansing of the temple occurs at the end of Jesus' career. JN 2:13-16 It occurs near the beginning of his career. There are two incidents mentioned here and both happened before the yearly Feast of the Unleavened Bread or Passover of the Jews. The incident in John was the first cleansing of the temple at the beginning of His mission before His baptism and He was alive at the Passover Jn 2:23 while in Matthew He was to be crucified at the Passover Mt 26:2 and His conversation with the Jews was that whose baptism was John 21:25. At the near end of His 3 year mission was the Triumphant Entry in Jerusalem. He was anointed at Bethany six days before the Jewish Passover Jn 12:1. The next day Jn 12:12 Mt 21:1-11 was His Triumphant Entry at Jerusalem where Jesus was acclaimed. After that He went to the temple in Jerusalem and drew out those who are buying and selling Mt 21: 12-13, Mk 11:15-17. MT 21:12-13 The cleansing of the temple occurs before Jesus cursed a fig tree. Mk 11:11-15 It was after the fig tree was cursed. The cleansing was done after His Triumphant entry at Jerusalem Mt 21:10-12, Mk 11:10-11. Matthew and Mark made it clear that from Bethany Jesus entered and went back to the Temple at Jerusalem not only once Mt 21:17-18, 23 Mk 11:11,27. It was cleansed before the fig tree was cursed as Matthew narrated. Notice Mark 11:11 already mentioned that Jesus looked around everything at the Temple and the buying and selling of merchandises would certainly not escaped His attention. Mark only narrated the event in detail in verse 15 onwards. MT 21:19-20 The fig tree withers immediately after being cursed by Jesus. The disciples notice and are amazed. MK 11:13-14, 20-21 The disciples first notice that the tree has withered the day following. In His visits to Jerusalem from Bethany where they stay they pass by the fig tree. In Matthew all the disciples noticed and were amazed when the fig tree withered. In Mark, Peter was reminded and remembered the withered fig tree as they pass again the next morning. Jesus repeated His statement and added a teaching. Whenever you pray forgive those who have sinned against you and your Father in heaven shall forgive you Mk 11:25-26. MT 23:35 Jesus says that Zacharias (Zechariah) was the son of Berachiah. 2CH 24:20 Zacharias was actually the son of Jehoida, the priest. In the Old Testament many prophets of the Lord were killed 1Kng 19:14, Neh 9:26. Jesus was referring to Zechariah the prophet, the son of Berechiah Zech 1:1, Mt 23:37. It is not the other Zechariah a priest, son of Jehoiada the priest.

MT 24:29-33, MK 13:24-29 The coming of the kingdom will be accompanied by signs and miracles. LK 17:20-21 It will not be accompanied by signs and miracles. It is already within. Matthew and Mark speak of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in the last day. Luke 17 is about the Kingdom of God within our midst. The spiritual kingdom is in their midst. It is God reigning in the hearts of the believers. MT 25:34 Heaven was prepared before the Ascension of Jesus. JN 14:2-3 It was prepared after the Ascension of Jesus. Matthew tells us the kingdom of heaven is already prepared before the foundation of the world. Jesus in John 14 said in His Fathers House are many mansions. Here it is existing and prepared already. What shall be prepared Jesus said is the place for those who shall accept Him but the kingdom of heaven is already there. MT 26:49-50, MK 14:44-46 Jesus is betrayed by Judas with a kiss, then seized. LK 22:47-48 Jesus anticipates Judas' kiss. No actual kiss is mentioned. JN 18:2-9 Jesus voluntarily steps forward to identify himself making it completely unnecessary for Judas to point him out. No kiss is mentioned. These were written at different angles, point of view and emphasis. The whole story Judas identified Jesus with a kiss MT 26:49-50, MK 14:44-46. Luke after mentioning what Jesus said that Judas shall betray the Son of Man with a kiss he moved the story to one of the Twelve who drew the sword and strike the ear of the slave of the high priest Lk 22:48-51. Apostle John on the other hand focused on the fulfillment of the word of Jesus that none of those who was with Jesus would be lost Jn 6:39, 17:12. Jesus said to leave them alone and just arrest Him. Twice did Jesus say I Am He. It is here when the guards are waiting for Judas to kiss Him as Matthew and Mark confirmed. MT 26:51, MK 14:47, JN 18:10 The ear of a slave is cut off and left that way. LK 22:50-51 The severed ear is miraculously healed by Jesus. Luke completed the incident. MT 26:52 Dispose of swords. All who take the sword will perish by it. LK 22:36-38 Buy swords. LK 22:13-15, 54-66 The initial hearing took place in the morning on Passover. JN 18:28, 19:14 It took place the day before Passover, on the Day of Preparation. We are talking here about the Jewish Passover Celebration and the Passover meal that Jesus would eat with His disciples. Jesus knew it was his Last Suffer with them so he instructed that night they celebrate it Lk 22:10-15. JN 18:13-24 There was no appearance before the Sanhedrin, only the private hearings before Annas and then Caiphas. They were all present and have heard the false accusations and the verdict of their high priest Mt 26:59-66. MT 26:63, LK 22:70 The high priest asks Jesus if he is the Son of God. MK 14:61 He asks Jesus if he is the Son of the Blessed. The Blessed One is God the Father. No argument about that. Mark is alluding who the Father is and giving more emphasis who Jesus is. The gospels were written in a way that the writers gave emphasis on words, character etc. to highlight them. MT 26:69-70 Peter makes his first denial to a maid and "them all." MK 14:66-68, LK 22:56-57, JN 18:17 It was to one maid only. Mathew made the complete denials Jesus said Peter would commit. MT 26:71-72 Peter's second denial is to still another maid. MK 14:69-70 (Apparently) to the same maid. LK 22:58 To a man, not a maid. JN 18:25 To more than one, "they." All of them, the maids, the man, a bystander, bystanders and they all of them recognized Peter as he moved around. The fact remained that Peter denied Jesus three times until the cock crowed twice. MT 26:73-74, MK 14:70-71 Peter's third denial is to bystanders (two or more). LK 22:59-60 To "another" (one). JN 18:26-27 To one of the servants. Many recognized Peter but he denied them all three times as Jesus had said. MT 26:74 The cock crowed once. MK 14:72 The cock crowed twice. It was the money of Judas that the chief priests used to buy the field for it is blood money. Peter alluded the purchase in behalf of Judas because Judas returned the money and the priests disowned it as possession of the temple. It was known to all the people that the field was bought with Judas money that is why it is called the Field of Blood. The field it attached to Judas and not to the priests. MT 27:5 Judas threw down the pieces of silver, then departed. AC 1:18 He used the coins to buy the field. He threw down the pieces of silver, departed, hanged himself and the money was used to buy the field. The purchase was alluded to him because the field bought was known as the Field of Blood. Judas betrayed an innocent blood. MT 27:5 Judas hanged himself. AC 1:18 He fell headlong, burst open, and his bowels gushed out. Judas hanged himself in a high place. The four gospel writers wrote the gospel at different angles to highlight some teachings and truth. MT 27:11-14 Jesus answers not a single charge at his hearing before Pilate. JN 18:33-37 Jesus answers all charges at his hearing before Pilate. When the chief priests and the elders accused Him He did not answer. MT 27:20 The chief priests and elders are responsible for persuading the people to ask for the release of Barabbas. MK 15:11 Only the chief priests are responsible. It is true He have to carry His cross because He was sentenced into it but along the way He was too weak to carry on and Simon of Cyrene just helped. Never was it intended somebody might assist. MT 27:37 The inscription on the cross read: "This is Jesus the King of the Jews." MK 15:26 "The King of the Jews." LK 23:38 "This is the King of the Jews." JN 19:19 "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews." There were several inscriptions placed above His head Lk 23:38, by Pontius Pilate Jn 19:19, the people Mk 15:26 and the soldiers Mt 27:35-37. Many women followed Jesus unto the Golgota and looked from afar. Later Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Jesus came near the cross. MT 27:62-66 A guard was placed at the tomb (the day following the burial). MK 15:42- 16:8, LK 23:50-56, JN 19:38-42 (No guard is mentioned. This is important since rumor had it that Jesus' body was stolen and the Resurrection feigned.) MK 16:1-3, LK 24:1 (There could not have been a guard, as far as the women were concerned, since they were planning to enter the tomb with spices. Though the women were aware of the stone, they were obviously unaware of a guard.) There were guards stationed and secured the tomb Mt 27:62-66. They were allowed to minister unto the body of Jesus at burial. Not necessary to mention the guards. When Jesus resurrected an angel and appeared and rolled the stone the guards were afraid and fell like dead Mt 28:1-4. MT 24:9 Even some of the disciples of Jesus will be killed. Many women together with Mary Magdalene and the other Mary returned to the tomb and with them the spices they have prepared and the angels appeared to them and have announce the Lord has risen from the dead MK 16:1-2. This time the women and with Mary Magdalene, Joanna and Mary the mother of James announced to the apostles that the angels appeared to them and that Jesus was alive Lk 24:10, 22-23. MT 28:1 It was toward dawn when they arrived. MK 16:2 It was after sunrise. LK 24:1 It was at early dawn. JN 20:1 It was still dark. It was still dark Mary Magdalene came alone first Jn 20:1, Mk 16:9-11. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came toward dawn Mt 28:1.The unnamed women who followed Jesus came early dawn Lk 24:1. Mary Magdalene again with Mary the mother of James and Salome came after sunrise Mk 16:1-2. 52

MT 28:2 An angel arrived during an earthquake, rolled back the stone, then sat on it (outside the tomb). MK 16:4, LK 24:2, JN 20:1 The stone had already been rolled (or taken) away. Jn 20:1 the stoned was first rolled away it was still dark. Mary Magdalene was the first to come alone Mk 16:9-11. That is why in Mt 28:2 the stone was rolled back again when they came back. It was rolled open again for the rest of the women and the disciples Peter and John to see. MK 16:5 No earthquake, only one young man sitting inside the tomb. LK 24:2-4 No earthquake. Two men suddenly appear standing inside the tomb. JN 20:12 No earthquake. Two angels are sitting inside the tomb. There was no more earthquake because it happened only once when the stone was rolled back again Mt 28:1-2. The next events the women and the disciples came to see and the tomb was open. The appearances were different because they happened at different intervals of time of the visits. MT 28:8 The visitors ran to tell the disciples. MK 16:8 They said nothing to anyone. LK 24:9 They told the eleven and all the rest. JN 20:10-11 The disciples returned home. Mary remained outside, weeping. It was Mary Magdalene who first invited the disciples to come because the stone was rolled away Jn 20:1-2. Later all the women when they came told the disciples all what they have seen. MT 28:8-9 Jesus' first Resurrection appearance was fairly near the tomb. LK 24:13-15 It was in the vicinity of Emmaus (seven miles from Jerusalem). JN 20:13-14 It was right at the tomb. MT 28:9 On his first appearance to them, Jesus lets Mary Magdalene and the other Mary hold him by his feet. MT 28:7-10, MT 28:16 Although some doubted, the initial reaction of those that heard the story was one of belief since they followed the revealed instructions. MK 16:11, LK 24:11 The initial reaction was one of disbelief. All doubted. Some believed and some doubted. Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene and the other Mary and then later to Peter and his companion and then that night to the disciples and later to Galilee in a mountain. Those who didnt believe yet were moved by their brothers. MT 28:1-18 The order of Resurrection appearances was: Mary Magdalene and the other Mary, then the eleven. MK 16:9-14 It was Mary Magdalene, then two others, then the eleven. LK 24:15-36 It was two, then Simon (Peter?), then the eleven. JN 20:14 - 21:1 It was Mary Magdalene, then the disciples without Thomas, then the disciples with Thomas, then the eleven disciples again. 1CO 15:5-8 It was Cephas (Peter?), then the "twelve" (which twelve, Judas was dead?), then 500+ brethren (although AC 1:15 says there were only about 120), then James, then all the Apostles, then Paul. The appearances where Mary Magdalene beside the tomb, then Mary Magdalene with the other Mary as they went out the tomb, then Peter with a companion (not one of the apostles) along the road to Emmaus then the disciples without Tomas in a room, then the disciples with Tomas in a house, then the eleven disciples in a mountain. In 1 Cor 15:5-8 He appeared first to Cephas or Peter and again then to the twelve apostles together meaning with them were Cephas and Matthias who shall replace Judas. He appeared to more than 500 at one time. Jesus showed Himself and stayed for forty days Act 1:3. Then He appeared to James and to all the apostles and later to Paul. The 120 who were Peter were not the only disciples of Jesus. There were many disciples in different places also. MT 28:19 Jesus instructs his disciples to baptize. 1CO 1:17 Although he considers himself a disciple of Jesus, Paul says that he has not been sent to baptize. The context here is that the Christians in Corinthians are having their own favorite servants from the Lord. Paul was thankful that he baptized few of them only. He was teaching them that the workers are servants of the Lord and they are all one, Christ is not divided and it was Christ who was crucified for us 1Cor 1:10-15. Pauls main work was to preach the gospel and baptism is his doctrine and believers are all baptized into Christ 1Cor 1:17, Rom 6:3-4, Act 16:28-33. His fellow workers baptize the new believers.

MK 1:2 Mark quotes a statement that allegedly appears in Isaiah. No such statement appears in Isaiah. MAL 3.1 is a much better fit. 54

Isaiah and Malachi prophesied of a messenger coming preparing the way of the Lord. Mark quoted the major prophet Isaiah Is 40:3. John and Luke also quoted Isaiahs prophecy regarding John the Baptist Jn 1:23, Lk 3:4. MK 1:14 Jesus began his ministry after the arrest of John the Baptist. JN 3:22-24 Before the arrest of John the Baptist. The order Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist in the river Jordan Mk 1:9, Mt 3:13, Lk 3:21. People followed the baptism of Jesus Jn 3:26,24. He was tempted by the devil in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights Mk 1:13, Mt 4:1-2, Lk 4:1-2. John was imprisoned Mk 1:14, Mt 4:12. Jesus had begun His ministry in Galilee Mk 1:14, Mt 4:17, Lk 4:14-15,44. He read the prophesy fulfilled about Him in the Synagogue in Nazareth Lk 4;16-21. He chose His disciples Mk 1:16-20, Mt 4:18-22, Lk 5:10-11. MK 1:23-24 A demon cries out that Jesus is the Holy One of God. 1JN 4:1-2 Everyone who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God. He is the Holy One of God, the Son of God and whenever these spirits are confronted face to face with Jesus they can not deny who He is. MK 3:29 Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin. MK 4:11-12, 11:25 Jesus says that he uses parables so that the meaning of some of his teachings will remain secret to at least some persons. He explains the meanings of the parables only to his disciples. He thanks God for hiding some things from the wise while revealing them to "babes." JN 18:20 Jesus says that he always taught openly, never secretly. Jesus meant He spoke in public. MK 6:16 Herod was the source of the belief that John had been raised from the dead. LK 9:7 Others were the source. Herod was perplexed by the belief. Some were the source not Herod himself. Herod heard it from them Mk 6:14. MK 6:52 The people were so unimpressed with "the Feeding of the Multitude" that they did not even understand the event. JN 6:14-15 They were so impressed that they tried to force Jesus to be their king. After the feeding of the multitudes Jesus and His disciples separated from them. Jesus went to the mountain alone to pray and his disciples went into a boat toward Bethsaida Mk 6:45-46. A strong storm came and battered the boat. When He was on the boat the wind calm done and they were completely amazed. And then Mk 6:52 said they did not understand about the loaves. This means they were amazed who Jesus was but a while ago He feed 5,000 men. They were stubborn or hard to believe. In John 6:14-15 it was the people who saw the sign Jesus had performed that is they were fed from a few pieces of bread and fish a miracle happened. They said Jesus was a Prophet from God who has come into the world and they tried to make Him a King. MK 6:53 After the feeding of the 5000, Jesus and the disciples went to Gennesaret. JN 6:17-25 They went to Capernaum. Jesus instructed His disciples to go ahead at Bethsaida and He withdrew Himself into the mountain alone to pray Mk 6:45-46.The were crossing the Sea toward Capernaum when the storm came. Jesus walked on the water and the wind died down Jn 6:19. After the storm they landed at Gennesaret Mk 6:53. MK 15:25 It was the third hour when Jesus was crucified. JN 19:14-15 It was after the sixth hour since Jesus was still before Pilate and had not yet been sentenced at that time. John was using the Greek calendar and time. A day is divided in 24 hours. One whole 24 hours or a day begins from 12 am and ends to 12 am. The Counting or the First Hour was 1 am. So the sixth hour was exactly 6 am Jesus was before Pontius Pilate Jn 19:14. Matthew, Mark and Luke used the Jewish calendar. The day is divided 12 hours each. The day starts from 6 am and ends 6 pm and the night 6 pm to 6 am. The first hour of the day starts at 6 am. The third hour was exactly 9 am Jesus was crucified Mk 15:25. There was darkness all over the place from the sixth (12 noon) to ninth hour (Jewish time) (3 pm) Lk 23:44. Jesus died at the ninth hour (Jewish time) (or 3 pm Greek time) Mk 15:33, Mt 27:46. There are 12 hours a day. MK 16:1-2 The women came to the tomb to anoint the body. JN 19:39-40 The body had already been anointed and wrapped in linen cloth. Jesus died the day before the Sabbath. Joseph of Arimathea brought the body of Jesus and laid Him on the tomb. Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses were there when Jesus was laid and Jesus was wrapped only with linen by this time Mk 15:44-47. There were some women who followed to the tomb and knew how Jesus body was laid and they went away to prepare the spices and perfumes before the Sabbath Lk 23:54-56. While at night Nicodemus brought the spices and they bound the body of Jesus with linen and spices for the Jewish burial customs Jn 19:38-40. The women were not present by this time preparing for the Sabbath. Should they know that Nicodemus brought the spices they wouldnt bother anymore. That is why while after the day of Sabbath after the sun has set Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Salome bought spices to anoint His body. When they arrived at the tomb on the first day of the week after sunrise has set Jesus was resurrected already Mk 16:1-2. Nobody was to be anointed for burial. By Gods providence Nicodemus came by night before the Sabbath and had Jesus properly buried. 56

MK 16:5, LK 24:3 The women actually entered the tomb. JN 20:1-2, 11 They did not. There are three visitations here. In John 20:1-2 Mary Magdalene came alone first while it is still dark but saw the stone rolled open. She called Peter and John and they went into the tomb founding only an empty tomb they went home and Mary stood outside the tomb weeping. Mary did not yet entered the tomb but she stooped and looked at it and there but Jesus appeared to her outside the tomb Jn 20:6-16. At early dawn there were some women who followed Jesus, went and entered into the tomb Lk 24:1-3. After the sun has risen again Mary Magdalene this time with Mary the mother of James and Salome entered the tomb Mk 16:1-2,5. MK 16:14-19 The Ascension took place (presumably from a room) while the disciples were together seated at a table, probably in or near Jerusalem. MT 28:16-20 No mention is made of an ascension, but if it took place at all, it must have been from a mountain in Galilee since MT ends there.) LK 24:50-51 It took place outdoors, after supper, at Bethany (near Jerusalem). AC 1:9-12 It took place outdoors, after 40+ days, at Mt. Olivet.

The writers wrote the last events briefly stating the facts but not in whole details as one would think. But considering what was written the sequence would be: Mark only mentioned that when they were eating Jesus spoke to them and later He was taken up. Matthew said they went into Galilee, into the mountain Jesus asked them to meet. Luke said He led them as far as Bethany, He blessed them and he left them. And after that He was taken up. Then Luke again in Acts 1:4 On one occasion, Jesus was eating with them and instructed them to wait for the promise of the Father at Jerusalem. After He said this Jesus was taken up into heaven. And in verse 12 they returned to Jerusalem from the hill of Mt Olives. It is therefore clear that Jesus ascended after 40 days from Mt Olives. He spoke to them several times before He was taken up.

LUKE
LK 1:15 John the Baptist had the Holy Spirit from before his birth or the birth of Jesus. LK 1:41 Elizabeth had it long before Jesus went away. LK 1:67 So did Zechariah. LK 2:25 So did Simeon. LK 11:13 It is obtained by prayer (presumably at any time). JN 7:39, JN 16:7, AC 1:3-5 The Holy Spirit cannot come into the world until after Jesus has departed. In the New Testament the Holy Spirit filled in the believers and shall be in them Jesus went up to Heaven Jn 14:17. Here Jesus is talking about the Holy Spirit to be given to dwell on the believers as His temple because they were purchased 1Cor 6:19-20. The Spirit is the assurance of our redemption Eph 1:13-14. The believers shall receive it for power for witnessing Act 1:8. So the fruit of the Spirit shall be in us Gal 3:21-24. These were not available to many people when Jesus was not yet sent. When Jesus made the ransom through 57

His blood the Spirit is available now to whoever shall believe. In the Old Testament though the Israelites were the people of God the Spirit of God dwelt selectively like only among the prophets and some righteous men. LK 8:12 The Devil causes unbelief. MK 4:11-12 Jesus is responsible for unbelief in at least some cases. 2TH 2:11-12 God is ultimately responsible for unbelief in at least some cases. Mk 4:11-12 did not say that. Jesus said, To you (the believers) has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God, but to those outside get everything in parables. This means if you would believe and accept God and Jesus whom He has sent you shall be given the understanding for His words. Those who reject can not understand them because they are still darkened unless gospel of the Lord shines unto them 2 Cor 4:4. In 2 Thess 2:11-12 God is not the ultimately responsible for their unbelief. This is already a judgment for them because they did not believe the truth but took pleasure in wickedness. The world is under the power of the devil and the Son has come to give us an understanding 1Jn 5:19-20. LK 14:26 No one can be a disciple of Jesus unless he hates his parents, wife, children, brothers and sisters.

1JN 3:15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer. 1JN 4:20 If anyone claims to love God but hates his brother, he is a liar. Lk 14:26 means our devotion to Jesus should be above our family members and our life to be His real disciple. There shall be times that our family members shall be against our faith in Christ especially when you come from a different religion. You shall be persecuted. You shall be given the choices to deny Christ and live. We can see this happening to fundamental religions today that new believers after conversion to Christ were killed even by their own family and relatives. LK 18:9-14 Do not boast of your virtue. RO 11:20, 1PE 5:5 Do not be proud. RO 15:17, 2CO 1:12, HE 3:6, 2CO 2:14, 5:12, 11:17 Paul boasts of his faith and says that one should be proud of it. Paul glories in Christ Rom 15:17. The hope or faith we proudly believe and not ashamed of Heb 3:6 Paul had a purpose in informing the Corinthian Christians who they were because they were demanding proofs that Christ was really speaking through him 2Cor 13:3. There are those who peddle the word of God for a profit and to them the message of the apostles were a smell of death 2Cor 2:16-17. The believers themselves are the proof of Gods work and that apostles competence was from God 2Cor 3:1-6. The truth that Paul was boasting about were: confidence with the Apostles and with the believers 2Cor 1:12,14. We are His instruments of His knowledge 2Cor 2:14. Be encouraged that we know the fear of the Lord 2Cor 5:12. Though he was boasting about his credentials 2Cor 11:22-28 his weaknesses showed 2Cor 11:29-30. With his weaknesses 58

Christ was His strength 2Cor 12:9-10. After telling the Corinthians about who he was Paul admitted he would sound as fool 2Cor 11:17 but God knows he is telling the truth 2Cor 11:31. LK 22:3-23 Satan entered Judas before the supper. JN 13:27 It was during the supper. Twice Satan entered into Judas in moving him to betray Jesus. The first incident was when Judas went to the priests and discussed how he can betray Jesus and give Him up to them Lk 22:3-5. The second was when Jesus declared during their suffer that one of them shall betray Him and as He dipped the bread and gave it to Judas Satan entered into him Jn 13:21, 26-27. Judas proceeded in doing their plans. LK 23:43 Jesus promises one of those crucified with him that they will be together, that very day, in Paradise. JN 20:17, AC 1:3 Jesus was not raised until the third day and did not ascend until at least forty days later. When Jesus said, Today you shall be with me in Paradise, He meant you are sure of eternal today and you shall be with me in Heaven. In Jn 3:36 says, He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides in him. That man is freed already that day from the wrath of God and judgment, death (spiritual) and condemnation has passed already from him Jn 5:24. Jesus did ascend to God the Father on the first day of His resurrection after His appearance to Mary Magdalene. He said to Mary, Do not touch me for I have not yet ascended to the Father and go to My Brethren and say to them I will ascend to My Father Jn 20:17. After ascending to the Father and that night He appeared to the disciples without Thomas Jn 20:19. A week later when he appeared to the Eleven Disciples He let Thomas to touch His hands and side Jn 20:26-28. Should Jesus not have ascended yet to the Father he would also not let Thomas touch Him. He stayed with them 40 days. After 40 days Jesus went back to Heaven where He was before. Paul confirmed when Jesus died He went down to the lowest part of the earth and when He resurrected He went up into the Highest Heavens and brought with Him souls who believed the Prophets in former times Eph 4:6-10, 1Pet 3:18-20. LK 23:55-56 The women followed Joseph to the tomb, saw how the body had been laid, then went to prepare spices with which to anoint the body. JN 19:39-40 Joseph brought spices with him (75 or a 100 lbs.) and anointed the body (as the women should have noticed). The women followed unto the tomb and saw where Jesus was laid. Joseph of Arimathea only wrapped Jesus body with linen Mk 15:46. Seeing only Jesus was wrapped in linen they went their way to buy spices Lk 23:55-56. Nicodemus then at night who brought spices Jn 19:39-40.

JN 1:1, 10:30 Jesus and God are one. JN 14:28 God is greater than Jesus. The Greek word used here is hen which means nominal one or one in essence. Heis is not used as numerical one. They are one in essence meaning of the same nature. God the Father is greater than the Son because He is His Father. In terms of relationship the Father is greater. Whatever He sees the Father does He does in the same manner Jn 5:19. Jesus said all that the Father has is His Jn 17:10. JN 1:1 Jesus was God incarnate. AC 2:22 Jesus was a man approved by God. Jesus in the beginning was God Jn 1:1. He took the form of a man Jn 1:14. Jesus in the bible is truly God that is why He is called God 2 Pet 1:1, Tit 2:13. He is also truly man when He took the form of a man but that did not make Him a lesser God Phil 2:6-8. JN 3:17, 8:15, 12:47 Jesus does not judge. JN 5:22, 5:27-30, 9:39, AC 10:42, 2CO 5:10 Jesus does judge. Jn 3:17 the first time God sent His Son to the world was to die for our sins to be our Savior. He primarily came first not to judge but to finish the work of salvation. Jn 8:15 Jesus said they are judging according to the flesh and He is judging no one also because He came to bring salvation Jn 12:47. Judgment shall come at the last day Jn 12:48. Jn 5:22 Judgment is given to the Son, Jn 5;27-29 at the day of resurrection, Jn 9:39 judgment he came into this world and that is knowing what is right and wrong, Act 10:42 he shall judge the living and the dead, 2Cor 5:10 at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Jesus will come again to bring judgment and punish those who do not know God and obey not His gospel 2Thess 1:7-9. JN 5:22 God does not judge. RO 2:2-5, 3:19, 2TH 1:5, 1PE 1:17 God does judge. God gave all judgment to the Son Jn 5:22. Rom 2:2-5 in the day of wrath and revelation of the judgment of God. God shall judge through the Son. Rom 3:19 yes all are accountable to God. 2Thess 1:5 Indication of Gods righteous judgment God is in His throne and when He gave all judgment to the Son it does not necessarily mean He cant judge. He can but he executes them through His Son verse 7. 1Pet 1:17 The Father is the One who impartially judges everyone according to his work. The Son on the Last Day shall judge 2Cor 5:10, Mt 25:41, Lk 13:27. When Jesus judges He is not alone with it but the Father is with Him Jn 8:16. JN 5:24 Believers do not come into judgment. MT 12:36, RO 5:18, 2CO 5:10, HE 9:27, 1PE 1:17, JU 1:14-15, RE 20:12-13 All persons (including believers) come into judgment. Jn 5;24 means that believers shall not come into judgment regarding to salvation for they have passed from death unto life. In 2Cor 5:10 their works

shall be judge for rewards 2Cor 3:13-15. On Judgment Day believers shall not be included for their names are written in the Book of Life. Hell, the wicked Dead shall be judged and thrown into the lake of Fire Rev 20:4-6, 11-15. Mt 12:36 the people shall be accountable. Rom 5:18 With the sin of Adam all shall be condemned but through the righteousness of Christ many shall not be condemned. Heb 9:27 Appointed to man to die and after this judgment is the standard process after death but if you are in Christ you are exempted Jn 5:24. 1pet 1:17 Yes we are to conduct our life in fear and obedience to God while here on earth. Jude 1;14-15 Here it is very clear that in the last day the Lord shall come with His holy ones (the saints) to execute judgment to the ungodly ones for their ungodly deed and ungodly words they have spoken against Christ. JN 5:31 Jesus says if he bears witness to himself, his testimony is not true. JN 8:14 Jesus says that even if he bears witness to himself, his testimony is true. Jn 5:31 Jesus means if He alone testifies of Himself His testimony is not true. There is another one who testifies about Him and that His Father Jn 5:32. In Jn 8:14 the context was Jesus said, I am the Light of the world; he who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. The Pharisees said your testimony is not true because you are testifying about yourself. Jesus answered, Even I testify on my own my testimony is true because I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from and where I am going. This means Jesus knows His testimony. He knows where he is from and where He is going. That makes His Testimony true. And even if Jesus testifies about Himself He is not alone because His Father is the witness and the Father bears witness Jn 8:18, Jn 5:36, Jn 10:25, 37-38, Jn 14:10. JN 5:38-47 Men have a choice as to whether or not to receive Jesus. JN 6:44 No one can come to Jesus unless he is drawn by the Father. God knows the heart of every man and does not show partiality. If that person responds to the gospel and the word of God He shall draw him to Christ through His Spirit. God enlightens us through the gospel. Act 10:34-44 JN 7:38 Jesus quotes a statement that he says appears in scripture (i.e., the OT). (No such statement is found in the OT.) The statement was streams of living water shall flow from within him this will happen to those who shall believe in Him. He is speaking of the Holy Spirit that be given Jn 7:39 and life shall flow. In the Old Testament Joel 2:28-29 prophesied that the Spirit of God shall be upon all flesh and they shall prophesy. Jeremiah 36:26-27 spoke of the Spirit of God shall be placed in the hearts of the believers and they shall have life. Fulfilled in the New Testament, the Holy Spirit changes the person from glory to glory 2Cor 3:16-18. JN 10:27-29 None of Jesus' followers will be lost. 1TI 4:1 Some of them will be lost.

In John 10:27-29 the statement was My sheep hear my voice and they follow Me, and I give to them eternal life and they shall never perish. Those who shall not perish are those who follow Him meaning they have repented from their sins and believed the gospel. 1Tim 4:1 were those who didnt stay with the gospel truth but believed false doctrines. JN 12:31 The Devil is the ruler (or "prince") of this world. 1CO 10:26, RE 1:5 Jesus is the ruler of kings--the earth is his. 1Jn 5:19 John says we are of God and the whole world is under the power of the devil. The children of God are in Gods Kingdom which is not of this world. The children of the devil are of this world 1Jn 2:15-17 and Satan is the ruler of this world. JN 12:32 Jesus implies that all persons will be saved. 1TI 2:3-4, 2PE 3:9 God wants all to be saved. JN 12:40, AC 2:21, 2:39, RO 9:27, 10:13 Some will not be saved. RE 14:1-4 Heaven will be inhabited by 144,000 virgin men. Jn 12:32 When Jesus is lifted up or die on the cross He will draw all men unto Him. The death of Jesus Christ is for all men Jn 5:39 and therefore forgiveness and salvation is for all men 2Cor 5;19, Rom 5:6-10 and all men can come to Him and whoever comes shall be saved Jn 3:16. JN 13:36 Peter asks Jesus where he is going. JN 14:5 Thomas does the same. JN 16:5 Jesus says that none of them have asked him where he is going. Jesus is expecting them to ask once again where He is going. In John 13:36 Peter asked where He is going when Jesus spoke that He shall be gone for a while and be taken because He shall be crucified. In Jn 14:5 Thomas asked again where He is going when He said He shall prepare a place for them and He shall come again and receive them to Himself and said you know where I am going. In Jn 15:26 this time He spoke of the Holy Spirit whom He shall sent from His Father where He came from and shall testify of Christ when He is gone. In Jn 16:5 He said, I am is going to Him who sent Me; and none of you asks Me, where are you going? Jesus wanted it to be clear to them where He is going. JN 17:12 Jesus has lost none of his disciples other than Judas. JN 18:9 Jesus has lost none, period. Judas even he was with them physically and was one of the twelve was not one of them in the spirit and in truth. He was of the devil Jn7:70-71. Jesus knew that in the beginning that Judas didnt believe Jn 6:64-65. JN 17:12 Mentions a "son of perdition" as appearing in scripture (meaning the OT).(There is no "son of perdition" mentioned in the OT.) The son of perdition is also the son of destruction, the lawless one in the abomination of desolation that the prophet Daniel spoke about. This is the 62

antichrist Dan 9:26-27, Mt 24:15, 2Thess 2:2-4. And the fulfillment in the Scripture is that the son of perdition shall perish. This shall happen in the last day at the coming of Christ rev 19:20. JN 18:37 Jesus came into the world to bear witness to the truth. RO 1:18-20 The truth has always been evident. Rom 1:18-20 Creation declares the existence of God. Jn 18:37 Jesus is speaking of the Truth; what He has seen and heard from the Father that He testifies Jn 3:32. The commandment from His Father is eternal life Jn 12:4950. JN 19:14 Jesus' trial took place at the sixth hour, with Mark 15:25, where we are told Jesus was crucified at the third hour. Matthew, Mark and Luke used Jewish time in referring to Jesus' trial, death and Resurrection, but John used Roman time since he wrote his book from Ephesus, the capital of the Roman Empire of Asia. Jewish time began at sunrise. The Romans began their day at midnight. So sunrise, or 6 a.m. for the Romans, was the first hour for the Jewish people. JN 20:9 Jesus quotes a statement that he says appears in scripture (meaning the OT). (No such statement is found in the OT.) The Scripture He said is that, He shall rise again from the dead. Ps 16:8-11, 49:15 God shall not suffer His Holy One to undergo decay. Peter confirmed its fulfillment Act 2:23-28. JN 20:22 In his first resurrection appearance before the assembled disciples, Jesus gives them the Holy Spirit. AC 1:3-5, AC 2:1-4 The Holy Spirit was received much later (on Pentecost.) The Holy Spirit is in them and shall be in them Jn 14:17. This is the Promise of the Father they shall receive on the day of Pentecost. They shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit and shall receive power and shall be his witnesses Act 1:5, 8. Jesus has to go back to the Father so He can send the Hoy Spirit who shall be with them and empower them Jn 16:7-15. This speaks of the powerful dwelling and witness by the Holy Spirit which they have not yet received when Christ was still with them. JN 21:25 The world probably could not contain the books if all that Jesus did were to be recorded. AC 1:1 The author of Acts has already written about all that Jesus began to do. All that is commanded what should be written Rev 1:11, 10:4, 14:13, 21:5.

ACTS
AC 5:19, 12:6-11 The disciples take part in a jailbreak made possible by an angel. AC 5:40-42 The disciples disobey the Council and continue to teach and preach 63

Jesus. RO 13:1-4, 1PE 2:13-15 Obey the laws of men (i.e., government). It is the will of God. When the Laws of men contradict the Law of God it is the Law of God that is put above. In Acts they were jailed for preaching the Gospel but God commanded them to preach the Gospel so they were delivered by the angel. The Council barred them to preach in Jesus name. They rather obey God than men Act 5:29. Our governments are instituted for righteousness to reign and punish the wicked. It can not put to a stop the preaching of salvation through Christ. AC 5:29 Obey God, not men. RO 13:1-4, 1PE 2:13-15 Obey the laws of men (i.e., government). It is the will of God. The Pharisees, the Sadducees and even Herod jailed them without a righteous cause or reason. The apostles were not guilty of any crime or treason. Also God commanded them to preach in Jesus name. No laws of the government they ever broke. We are to uphold instituted laws of the land. These laws promote truth, justice, righteousness and order but if ever there are laws that were passed that contradict the moral and spiritual laws of God the law of God prevails. AC 9:7 Those present at Paul's conversion heard the voice but saw no one. AC 22:9 They saw a light but did not hear a voice. They heard the voice but could not understand it and they saw no one but only a bright light. AC 9:7 Those present at Paul's conversion stood. AC 26:14 They fell to the ground. When the light from heaven brighter than the sun shone around them they all fell into the ground Act 26:14 and when they heard the voice they were able to stand up Act 26:16, Act 9:5-7. AC 9:19-28 Shortly after his conversion, Paul went to Damascus, then Jerusalem where he was introduced to the Apostles by Barnabas, and there spent some time with them (going in and out among them). GA 1:15-20 He made the trip three years later, then saw only Peter and James. In Pauls letter to the Galatians he clearly mentioned the time gap of his travel. His conversion was in the road to Damascus Gal 1:16, Act 9:3 then he stayed for several days at Damascus Act 9:19-22 and then he went to Arabia and returned back to Damascus Gal 1:17. After 3 years he went to Jerusalem Gal 1:18 (And when he arrived in Jerusalem Act 9:26) and met Peter and James Gal 1:18-19.

AC 9:23 The governor attempted to seize Paul. 2CO 11:32 It was the Jews who tried to seize Paul. Both, it is the habit of the Jews to instigate false accusations among the disciples and conspire with the rulers or governors so they can kill them. The Jews often cause uproar in the city Act 17:5. They did this to Jesus, Peter and James who was killed by Herod because of the Jews. AC 10:34, RO 2:11 God shows no partiality. He treats all alike. RO 9:11-13 God hated Esau and loved Jacob even before their birth God shows no partiality. When God make a choice can He fail? When He wants to bless somebody more than the other can he be wrong? Of course not, whenever God acts he acts on loving-kindness, justice and righteousness Jer 9:24. This means God can not be wrong. Regarding Esau and Jacob God knew in the beginning that Jacob would be faithful to Him and Esau shall sell his birth right for food and despised his birth right Gen 25:30-32, 35. Esau was an immoral godless person Heb 12:16, Gen 25:41. Jacob obeyed and honored His God Gen 32:1-2, 9-10, 33:10, 35:4-5. God was not wrong when He loves Jacob and hated Esau. AC 10:34, RO 2:11 God shows no partiality. He treats all alike. RO 9:18 God has mercy on whoever he chooses, etc. The same answer above. He knows those who shall honor Him and not. He acts with loving-kindness, righteousness and justice Jer 9:24. And when God chooses to act He cant be wrong for His is God and the Maker of us all. He knows what is in us. Rom 9:18-23. AC 16:6 The Holy Spirit forbids preaching in Asia. AC 19:8-10 Paul preaches in Asia anyway. They obeyed. They rerouted their trip to Macedonia because God confirmed it in a vision Act 16:9-12. They traveled and preached to many places and after some time while at Corinth the Lord said to Paul to go on speaking and not be silent Act 18:9. AC 20:35 Quotes Jesus as having said: "It is more blessed to give than to receive." (No such statement of Jesus is found elsewhere in the Bible.) Jesus taught about giving and the reward from it. His words on Mt 5:42, Give to him who asks of you, and do not turn from him who wants to borrow from you. When you give, you shall have your reward Mt 6:2-3. Give to the poor and you shall have treasure in heaven Mt 19:21, Lk 12:33. Give to anyone who asks Lk 6:30. Give and it shall be given you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will pour out into your lap Lk 6:38. If you give therefore to others you are blessed.

RO 2:12 All who have sinned without the law will perish without the law. RO 4:15 Where there is no law there is no transgression (sin). The whole teaching here is that in Rom 2:12 it says all who sinned without the law will perish without the law and in verse 14 the Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves and verse 15 their conscience accuses and defends them. So at the last day they shall be judge with the law written in their hearts though they dont have the literal Law they are still under the spiritual and moral law of God. When Jesus comes again he shall judge and punish those who do not know God and obey not His gospel 2Thess 1:7-9. To get what Paul meant in Rom 4:15 the context begins at verse 13 to 16. Paul is talking about the promise of God to Abraham and to his descendants that he shall be the heir of the world was not through the Law but through the righteousness of faith. For if those of the Law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise nullified; the Law brings about wrath, but where there is no Law, there is also no violation. The conclusion of Paul is in verse 16, For by this reason it is by faith. Paul is saying that Faith is not of the Law and therefore there shall be no violation and it shall be by grace. RO 2:13 Doers of the law will be justified. RO 3:20, GA 3:11 They will not be justified. The context in Romans 2:13 is that there are those people who heard the Law and there are those who have not heard the Law. It is not the knowledge of the Law that makes you right with God but it is doing it. Verses 14 and 15 tell us those who are not Jews do not have the Law but obey the law through their thought and conscience. Rom 3:20 tells us that no one can be fully right with God by obeying the law for in verses 9-10 all have sinned Jews and non-Jews, there is no one righteous no not one. It is saying we all have sinned and non of us that have not sinned. Gal 3:11 tells us that the Law can not justify us before God but righteous man shall live by faith. Verse 10 says curse is he who does not abide to what is written in the Law to perform them and verse 12 says the Law is not of faith but he who practices them shall live by them. What then is our conclusion? We live by the Law by practicing them and we are made righteous to God by our faith in Him because it is not the doing of the Law that makes us perfect because we all have sinned and come shortr of the glory of God. In the New Testament we are to obey the commandments of God and by our faith in Christ we are saved Jn 3:36. So those who have the Law and do not have the Law through their faith in God they are justified. RO 2:15 The law is written on the heart. Conscience teaches right from wrong. 1JN 2:27 Anointing by Jesus teaches right from wrong.

Rom 2:15 All men have their conscience from God that teaches us right and wrong. 1Jn 2:27 talks about the promised eternal life the believer received from God and that no one can deceive him with this truth verses 25-26 because of the anointing of Jesus the believer received verse 27. RO 4:9 Faith was reckoned to Abraham as righteousness. JA 2:21 Abraham was justified by works (which made his faith perfect). Rom 4:9 tells us that Abraham was justified by God by his faith. He was made righteous while he is not still circumcised meaning the Law was not yet given and righteousness before God shall be by faith of Abraham and not by the Law verses 10-14. Rom 4:19-25 tells us how Abraham was justified by his faith. God promised that he shall have a son and be a father of many nations but he knew that he is old and Sarah was barren. He believed that God is able to do His promise and that made him righteous before God. And the same way Christ died for our sins that we shall have eternal life through faith in Him. We are justified by faith. Jas 2:21 tells us that Abraham was justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar. It continued with verses 22-25 you see that faith was working with his works and as a result of works his faith is made perfect. A man is justified by works and not by faith alone. Faith without works is dead. Here James showed us the faith of Abraham. Though Isaac was his only son and God asked Isaac his son but promised Abraham he shall be the father of many nations Abraham believed God that he is able to do His promise. So when he offered Isaac and obeyed God he was declared righteous. His Faith is working with his Works. The conclusion therefore when we say we believe God it is shown by our obedience. Real faith produces works. Faith is working with our works. Can Abraham offer Isaac without first believing God in His Promise? Of course not. God knew Abrahams faith and he was justified by that faith. So we are. If we believe the testimony of God about His Son that we shall have eternal life through Him by faith we shall be saved, made righteous and justified. Our faith in Christ is evidenced by our obedience to Christ 1Jn 5:9-13. RO 10:11 (An alleged OT quote; no such statement in the OT.) Rom 10:11 Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed refers to Christ Rom 10:9-10. Isaiah prophesied that a Stone laid in Zion and whoever believes shall not be disturbed Is 28:16. RO 14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor anything that might cause your brother to stumble or be offended. CN 2:16 Let no one pass judgment on you in matters of food and drink. Rom 14:21 is clear. We are not to do something that shall cause our brothers or anyone to stumble 1Cor 10:27-33. Col 2:16 is a conclusion that says, therefore let any one judge you by what you eat or drink or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon Celebration

or a Sabbath day. Verse 17 These are a shadow of the things to come and the reality ifs found in Christ. In verses 13- 15 says that we are raised with Christ through our faith in the power of God, made alive with Christ and God forgave all our sins and He canceled the written code and its regulations that was against us nailing it to the cross. This means that no one can judge us if we follow or not the religious regulations because we are set free by Christ from them and God has already forgiven us.

1 CORINTHIANS
1CO 7:8-9 Widows should not marry (although it is better to marry than burn). 1TI 5:14 Young widows should marry, bear children, rule the household, etc.. The answer is in 1Cor 7:32-35. Pauls concern was our undivided devotion and service to the Lord. The married are concerned with their spouses while the unmarried with the Lord. It is good for the unmarried and widows not to marry but if they can not it is better to marry. 1Tim 5:14 Paul is giving instructions to young widows who cant fulfill their devotion to Christ by not getting married because of sensual desires it is better to marry. Also there were some young widows who just become idle, going from house to house, become gossipers and busybodies. So he counseled them to get married instead have children and manage their homes and dont give the enemy an opportunity to slander. Some have already sinned. 1CO 8:4 There is only one God. 2CO 4:4 Satan is god of this world (therefore there are at least two gods). There is only one God, the Father creator of Heaven and earth, from whom are all things and we exist for Him and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things and we exist through Him 1Cor 8:6. This is God and satan is not capable of these. 2Cor 4:4 Satan is the god of this world who blinded the minds of those who do not believe. 1Jn 2:15-16 Love not the world or anything of the world, lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of live, it is not from God but is from the world. 1Jn 5:19 John says we are of God and the whole world is under the power of the devil. Satan is the god of this world and of this world system. He rules on the sons of disobedience. He has his kingdom. The kingdom of God on the other hand is not of this world but has come into this world reigning in the hearts of the believers Jn 18:36, Lk 17:21, Rom 14:17. 1CO 10:33 Paul says that he tries to please men (so they might be saved). GA 1:10 Paul says he would not be a servant of Christ if he tried to please men. 1Cor 10:33 The context is Paul wont be a cause of stumbling block to anyone in regard to drinking or eating or anything so as to bring them to Christ. Gal 1:10 starts with verse 6. Paul said if anyone preaches a gospel different from 68

the gospel they have received and he has preached let them be accursed. When we speak of the gospel truth we are not to compromise. We are not to please men but God. He wont be a servant of Christ if he followed what man want to preach and not the gospel of Christ.

2 CORINTHIANS
2CO 12:16 Paul says that he does use trickery. 1TH 2:3 Paul says that he does not use trickery. 2Cor 12:16 Trickery, outsmart, crafty and deceit was applied by Paul to the Corinthian church when he and his companions didnt ask support from them neither was they a burden so they can preach the gospel to them freely. They didnt ask for financial support and Paul used this opportunity to share them the word. This is the context starting from verse 13-17. 1Thess 2:3 Paul said, For our exhortation does not come from error or impurity or by way of deceit. Their preaching does not come from error or impure motives. They spoke the word of God as true servants and messengers. Verse 4, but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who examines our hearts.

GALATIANS
GA 6:2 Bear one another's burdens. GA 6:5 Bear your own burden. Gal 6:2 Bear one anothers burden thereby you fulfill the law of Christ. Gal 6:5 Bear your own burden. Be not a burden to others.

1 THESSALONIANS
1TH 2:2 God gave Paul the courage to continue his work. 1TH 2:17-18 Satan hindered Paul. God is stronger than Satan. 1Thess 2:17 They were hindered for a short while. And God has delivered them fro every evil work 2Thess 3:3. God is just He will pay back with trouble those who trouble them 2Thess 1:6-9.

1 TIMOTHY
1TI 1:15 Paul says that he is the foremost of sinners. 1JN 3:8-10 He who commits sin is of the Devil. Children of God do not sin. The testimony of Paul was that before he became a Christian. He got mercy from the Lord because he acted in ignorance and unbelief. He was the foremost of sinners because he was once a blasphemer, persecutor and a violent man 1Tim 1:12-13, 1Cor 15:9, Gal 1:13, Act 22:20. Now Paul preaches righteousness and live it by faith in Christ Gal 2:20. 69

TI 6:20, 2TI 2:14-16, 3:1-7 Do not argue with an unbeliever. 2JN 1:10-11 Anyone who even greets an unbeliever shares his wicked work. 1PE 3:15 Always be ready to answer any man concerning your faith. If any man asks something concerning the faith be ready always to give an answer. Avoid arguments, quarrels and foolish talks. A person or even an unbeliever who desired to know the truth for him to understand and believe answer him.

JAMES
JA 4:5 (Quotes an alleged scripture [OT] verse not found in the OT.) Js 4:5 says God gave us His Spirit in us and He jealously desires us in Him. Verse 4 said that you adulteresses, friendship with the world is hostility with God. Therefore God as a Husband longs and desires our fellowship with Him and He is jealous when we befriend the world. James said the scripture is that His Spirit in us envies or is jealous. The Old Testament says God is a jealous God and as a Husband He desires us to be faithful to Him Ex 20:5, 34:14, Deut 6:15. We are betrothed to Him forever Hos 2:19 Is 54:5-6.

REVELATION
RE 7:4-8 The twelve Tribes of Israel : Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin GE 49:1-28 The twelve tribes of Israel : These are the twelve sons of Jacob : Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Joseph, and Benjamin. These 12 sons comprise the twelve Tribes of Israel. However, when the land of Israel was apportioned among the tribes in the days of Joshua, the Tribe of Levi, being priests, did not receive land. Therefore, when the tribes are listed in reference to their receipt of land, as well as to their encampments during the 40 years of wandering in the desert, the Tribe of Joseph is replaced by the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh (the two sons of Joseph by his Egyptian wife Asenath, whom Jacob elevated to the status of full tribes). Then Twelve Tribes when the land was distributed were Reuben, Simeon, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Benjamin, Manasseh, Ephraim Josh 13:7- 15:5. Rev 7:4-8 Tells us there were 144,000 bond servants of God that came out from every tribe of the sons of Israel (that did not give up their birth right in exchange for other gods). Why Ephraim and Dan were replaced? And the answer is: That it is likely as a punishment for Ephraims and Dans idolatry. Ephraims offspring was cast out Lev 7:15, 9:11. She joined other nations in her idolatries and sins Hos 4:17, 5:3, 7:8, 8:11. Jeroboam from the tribe of Ephraim 1Kin 70

11:26 was the first king of Israel when the Kingdom of Solomon was divided built altars for two golden calves for worship to prevent the people of Israel to worship God in Jerusalem 1Kin 12:25-33 and assigned priests of the high places 1Kin 13:33 although God promised him the 10 tribes of Israel 1Kin 11:28-33. With Ephraim Dan was omitted. It is because again of her gross idolatry Jud 18:30-31, 2Kin 10:29. Dan and Ephraim led Israel into deep idolatries and worship of other gods of other nations which the Yahweh has warned them not to Jer 4:15. But God is faithful on His covenant with Israel. At the Last Day after the Great Tribulation at the Kingdom Age Ephraim shall be one with Israel with his brothers and the Lord shall be their God and King Ezek 37:21-23, 24-28. Dan and Ephraim were removed. Levi and Joseph were in. Joseph is never really considered a tribe. Joseph was split into two, Ephraim and Manasseh his sons. And Ephraim and Manasseh were considered to be tribes. Manasseh is here and Ephraims place is taken by Joseph. Dan is replaced by Levi, the priestly tribe. RE 8:7 All of the grass on earth is burned up, and then ... REV 9:4 An army of locusts, which is about to be turned loose on the earth, is instructed not to harm the grass. Rev 8:7 all would mean most or majority. Rev 9:4 grass can mean vegetation. We all know even if we burn trees, grass and plants for sometime they grow again. Grass even when uprooted grows back again fast in a few days.
