The Relay for Life Bunco and Silent Auction will be held on Saturday March 24th after the 5:00 p.m. Mass. Auction items will be up for bid starting this weekend in the Parish Hall. $10 Tickets for the Bunco are available from Karen Karrer 477-5519; auction items are being collected by Deanna Lyon 477-8337. The American Cancer Society benefits. Jammin in Jamaica and Haiti: The LifeSavers and High School youth of our parish earned $424.79 at last Sundays fundraiser, and have donated all the proceeds to Food for the Poor, fulfilling the Lenten tradition of almsgiving. We thank Laura Zoeller, Youth Minister, our youth and their parents, and to all who supported this fundraising effort. St. Meinrad Sunday: All Saints welcomes Fr. Tobias Colgan, OSB, Formation Dean and teacher in the St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. Fr. Tobias will be the presider at the 11:30 AM Liturgy, and speak of their mission. RCIA: We ask your continued prayers for Jessica Pilcher Creed and other candidates and catechumens. Religious Education for Children: Our weekly sessions continue as scheduled, beginning at 9:45 AM for opening prayers and announcements, in the Parish Hall. We encourage consistent attendance in classes and active participation in our weekend liturgies. Contact Diane Black if you have any questions about faith formation programs for children. Sacramentals and Devotions: Pray at All Times Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). St. Paul reminds us to never stop praying and for centuries the Catholic Church has given us tools and resources to strengthen or prayer life. Want to learn more about the rosary, relics, incense, holy water, etc? This week our Why Catholic? small groups will be focusing on Sacramentals and how they can be best used. Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry and Monthly Chicken Dinner: The Knights invite you to attend their Fish Fry dinner, each Friday during Lent, from 5-8:00 PM, in our Parish Hall; and their monthly $7.50 All-You-Care-to-Eat th Chicken Dinner, on Sunday, March 18 . The proceeds help fund their charitable work in the parish and community. Archdiocesan Catholic Mens Conference is scheduled for March 31 , from 8:30-1:00 PM, at Our Lady of Lourdes. Lenten Spirituality: Were at the mid-point of Lent you can still prepare spiritually for Easter with the Churchs Lenten traditions of prayer, penance/fasting, and almsgiving. Lenten devotional material for adults, families and children is available on the table near the loft stairs. Besides our weekend liturgies, our scheduled times for prayer include our 8:30 AM Tuesday Mass, and each Wednesday during Lent, the Rosary at 6:00 PM, the Stations of the Cross at 6:30 and a Communion service at 7:00. Our Church is open for private prayer during Parish Office hours. Our Regional Reconciliation Service for Lent will be at St. Francis Xavier on Sunday, March 25th at 3:00 PM.
