Rules and Regulations: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Tag Team Championship is open only for MMU (Melaka Campus) students and staffs. This tournament will adhere to latest BWF (Badminton World Federation) rules. The format of play will be in round robin except for semi-finals and final stages. During round robin stages, all 5 games must be played even though one side has already won 3 games. During semi-finals and final, if one team has already won 3 games, the team will be considered as winner and will not continue for remaining matches. If participants are found guilty of cheating or breaking the rules, actions will be taken. The participant will be disqualified from the tournament. There will be no refund for participants who are disqualified. There must be 8 people in a team which consists of 7 males and 1 female. There must be 8 participants in a team which consists of 2 Mens Singles, 2 Mens Doubles and 1 Mixed Doubles. Each team is only entitled to one of the following options : a. b. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. maximum of 1 state and 2 district players OR; maximum 3 district players (if the team has no state player).

Participants must wear proper attire and bring their own equipment during the tournament. The organizer shall not be responsible for loss of belongings during the tournament. All protests must be reported to the organizer in written form within an hour after the match ends with a fee of RM 100. The organizer shall make the final decision. RM 100 will not be refunded if protests are invalid.

RM 100 will be refunded if protests have valid grounds. Organizer reserve the right to make final decision. The organizer reserves the right to change the rules and regulations above including the prizes without prior notice. All players level is based on Badminton Clubs database. Closing date will be on 22nd March 2012, 5.00pm. Drawlot session will be on 22nd March 2012, 8.00pm, at CLC 2009.

All current and ex MMU Team Players who are/were not State players will be considered as District players. A team can be also formed if there is no state or district or consists of only one district or one state player. Team captain of the team must register half an hour earlier before their match time. Line up form must be submitted 15 minutes before the match time. Players who are unable to be in the game 10 minutes after the first call will be considered as walkover. All participants are not allowed to delay their matches after the draw has been drawn out.
