The Nomination Process

Nominations for the National Awards for Outstanding Fatherhood are made by members of the public and/or Organizations to the Fatherhood Awards committee. Subsequently, the Fatherhood Awards Committee considers these recommendations and decides which nominees will be selected. Each year the committee selects two (2) awardees in each of the five (5) categories of outstanding fatherhood. These categories represent the five (5) Healthy Fathering Styles that are explained in the table below. The committee also selects one of the nominees to receive the Ellis Arneaud Father of the Year award. For your reference the list below shows the five Fathering Styles from which you are asked to select the one

The closing date for the receipt of nominations for the National Fatherhood Awards is: Friday 03rd August 2012. Nomination forms completed in accordance with the instructions should be addressed to: National Fatherhood Awards Committee c/o John Paul II Centre on Fatherhood #1 Henry Pierre Street, Mucurapo Road, St. James Trinidad Nomination forms can also be obtained electronically from the John Paul II Centre on Fatherhood by sending an email to ctccommunity@gmail.com, putting Nomination Form in the subject field. The completed forms can then be submitted using the same e-mail address, and subject.
