Tandem Thin-Film Silicon Solar Module Manufacturing System and Related Services Delivered by GreenSolar Equipment Manufacturing Ltd.

The turnkey manufacturing system produces solar modules of size 1.245 mm x 635 mm (25x49). For more technical details please refer to Manufactured Module Specification. The offered selling price of the 30 MWp/year production turn-key factory is 22,310,000. The basic financial data for the investment are given in Financial Summary The Factory Equipment List includes the installed equipments of the production line. The above offered price includes: Assistance in the design of the building and its infrastructure for the factory, Assistance of getting the local operation permits for the factory, Two level training program about solar technology & manufacturing for engineers and operators, All necessary equipments for the production line, All necessary measurement instruments for quality assurance and future technology development, Installation of the equipments and their integration as production line, Production start-up, 3-level-guarantee - Process performance - Production reject rate is less than 10% of the total production, - Module performance 47 Wp 10% at STD conditions, - Equipment performance one year warranty is guaranteed.

The price does not include the following costs: Building & infrastructure, Local permits and authorizations for operation, Optional spare parts (prices will be provided one month after the signing of the sales contract).

Payment conditions: 1. 30% down payment after signing the definitive contract and the date of transfer will be the start time of the valid purchase order. 2. A transferable irrevocable letter of credit with partial shipments for 70% of the value of the contract is to be issued in favor of Seller allowing partial shipment. a. 60% of the contract value of each partial shipment from the letter of credit is payable against shipping documents. b. 5% of the contract value is to be paid to Seller after the Equipments passes the individual tests against individual acceptance protocol. c. 5% of the contract value is to be paid to Seller after the factory passes the performance tests against factory acceptance protocol.

The basic building requirement for production of thin-film PV modules is any basic lightindustry type building. The space requirement of the GreenSolar production line is approximately 4,500 m2 square meters with warehouses, but without offices and staff common areas. The ceiling height is minimum 4 meters. Above the ceiling the utility systems need additionally minimum 1 m space. In many cases existing buildings can be used and modified to accommodate the production line. The gas abatement filtering and gas supply systems are located outside the building. Basic Utility Systems Electrical System Most of the equipments require three phase 400 VAC connections, some system components can be connected to single phase 230 VAC. The frequency of the electrical network is 50 Hz. The average electrical consumption is 1400 kW, the peak value is 2200 kW. Air-conditioning The temperature in the building should stay within 23 2 C. The humidity level should be in general in the 50-70% range (non-condensing). Clean Room Conditions Recommended: a-Si patterning in clean room ISO Class 7 (as per ISO 146441-1 standard) Gas Supply System The production needs a range of process gases, as Argon, Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Helium, Silane, Methane, TMB in Silane, PH3 in Argon. Compressed Air System Several equipments use compressed air for operating valves and other actuators. The peak usage value is around 1400 liter/min and the average is approximately 500 liter/min. Cooling Water System Several equipments require cooling water for pumping or cool down systems. The peak usage value is around 38 m3/hour peak and the average is app. 22 m3/hour. Closed loop cooling: The largest cooling water requirements come from the PECVD and the PVD systems. It is strongly recommended to have a closed loop circuit for it. City water: The city water is used for cooling down the laminator, the edge grinder and driller. The user can consider applying here also a closed loop system. Main Raw Materials for Production TCO glass, back glass, sputtering targets, EVA foil, terminal boxes, packing boxes, Aluminum foil and adhesive tapes, detergents, solvents, cleaning pads, wipers, etc.
