There were 18 people in the age group of 16-19 answered the questionnaire. 1 people in each of the 20-24 and 25-29 age groups answered the questionnaire. Therefore my target audience will be targeted at age groups from 16-19 year olds.

12 out of the 20 people who answered the questionnaire were male and the other 8 were female. The percentage of male and female audiences is more or less the same so there is no specific focus on a single gender for my target audience.

I have found that 90% of the people who answered the questionnaire said that they use the internet. Only 5 people use a Tablet PC 11 People use MP3 Players 9 people listen to the radio 13 people watch TV

This concludes that my target audience are more technologically literate with the internet, TV, MP3 player and radio. Therefore I will include an article or story associate with these media platforms.

There is a high number of people who answered gaming as their hobby There is an equal amount of people who like Art and Music and they are the second most popular type of hobby in my questionnaire. There are 3 to 4 people who like Martial Arts, Photography, Shopping and Sport. The less popular hobbies where only 1 to 2 people answered were hobbies like singing, dancing, fishing, gigs, movies and reading.

Due to the high number of people who said gaming, music and art as their hobby, I shall include a section in my magazine for gaming, music and art.

There were 8 people who said they prefer magazine 2, and another 8 people said they prefer magazine 3. Only 4 people said they liked magazine 1.

In conclusion I shall choose the style of magazine 3 for my music magazine as I prefer a more rock/gothic theme but features pop punk/alternative rock artists.

12 people have answered Black and White associates with alternative rock and the rest of the other colour schemes were less popular.

From these results, I shall have put an emphasis on black and white with my magazine such as black and white photographs. This also has a similarity to my magazine style in question 5 and the magazine style I chose also has a black and white theme. 1 of the questionnaires had a note beside this question and suggested to include some red with my black and white theme. Therefore I shall take this into consideration as I also agree red would be a good colour to go with it.

12 out of 20 people said they would want to see the band Paramore in the magazine. There was also a relatively high number of votes for the bands Muse, 30 seconds to Mars, Blink 182, All Time Low and My Chemical Romance to be featured.

From the results I have gathered, I shall have the band Paramore featured in my magazine and the band Muse, 30 Seconds to Mars, MCR, and Blink-182 to be considered as well. A candidate had noted to also feature the band Slipknot or Avenged sevenfold since my magazine has a rock theme so I shall take that into consideration too.

I have found that 16 people do not read magazines online and only 4 people read magazines online. This means I will not feature an online platform on my magazine however I may feature an App instead.

9. If you do which one? The majority of people did not give an answer as the majority of candidates do not read magazines online. However for those who did answer have jotted down the following magazines: Cosmopolitan, Marie Clare, ELLE, Metal Hammer and Top Gear. This shows my target audience also has an interest with Fashion, Beauty and Motoring.

I have found that 10 people liked Font 1, 7 People liked Font 2, 2 People who liked Font 3 and only 1 liked Font 4. Therefore I shall use Font 1 as the font for my magazines Masthead. However I may research a few more or similar fonts as Im not sure if this is the right font for my magazine.
