Before you ask, yes, HMs have been demoted to just regular ol' TMs. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: This game will use 5th gen mechanics. That includes unbreakable TMs. Yep. But just for tradition's sake, I'll include a Move Deleter somewhere. Now, what else? Hmm..... Bah, **** it. I'm gonna note any extra features as we go along. Let's go. Oh, wait. Before we do anything, let me show you the trainer's Pokemon...thingy that I'm going to use. A Gender Lv. xx Name (nickname) with Ability, holding a(n) item, and is nature It's EVs are these. It's pretty messy as a template, so here's an example. A Male Lv. 50 Infernape (Ironane) with Blaze, holding a Leftovers, and is Modest It's EVs are 252 Speed, 252 S.Atk, and 4 HP. -Fire Blast -Focus Blast -Grass Knot -Nasty Plot It's just an example. Also, with certain exceptions, all of the music will be from the DS Pokemon games. Anyhow, with that, let's head forth into the mysterious Carfia! ...oh wait. I forgot to get your information, first!

Here is Prof. Yew. He will be your professor for this...adventure, yes, let's use that word. First off, what gender are you? Boy? Girl? Now, what's your ethnic look? White? African? Hispanic? Asian? Native? Yeah, your choices are much more diverse in terms of what your character will initially (Key Word: Initially. We'll get to it later.) look like. Now, what's your name? Here are the canon names of the trainers you can pick, by the way. (There is a Don't Care option, much like the Mother games.) White African Hispanic Asian Native Boy Girl Tyler Alexis Martin Ayelesha Robert Isabella Hun Ling Shakuru Mitone

Now, are you ready? Your story is about to be told. There is a world of wonder out there. So good luck! Alebdayat Town: Music: Pallet Town (HG/SS) First off, please don't judge my art skills with this pitiful map. I can do MUCH better than this, but this is just a quick map to show what's what. Sadly, the color keys may be inconsistent, so sorry about that in advance. The Green/Brown ones are trees, the light gray are fences, the red are houses, and in the bottom, the left one is Prof. Yew's Lab, and the right is the Town Hall. Who's houses are whose? From left to right, it's your home, your rival, Prof. Yew's, the elder's, and the misc. one. Oh yeah, I've got to mention the characters on this. Your character is about 15-16 old, ready to go out after learning much from your parents. Both parents are in your home, by the way. Your rival is somewhat nice, but can be a bit of a jerk, as well. In terms of personality, he's like a mix between Blue/Gary and Cheren. I already mentioned Prof. Yew, but he's a renowned scientist in this region, as that's any surprise. The Elder is the mayor of this town, and holds over the ways of this place. And finally, there are some non-important NPCs in that one house. For the story, the important ones are you, the rival, and Prof. Yew. The elder won't play much of a role in the story, though. You start in your bed, in your bedroom. Go downstairs, and you'll find your parents at the table. Dad: Hey, kiddo, how's it going? He goes up to you.

Dad: Got your packs ready? Well, you still need this. Then your dad will give you the Pokephone. Dad: I imported it from a faraway region, and you may not know how it works, so do you need me to teach you about it? This tutorial is optional, but basically, the Pokephone is what takes the bottom screen. The IRS or whatever from B/W is not present. Anyway, this Pokephone is like a combination of the actual Pokegear from Jhoto and the Pokewatch (I think that's the name) from Sinnoh. The left half is the whole menu. Pokedex (which we don't have yet), Pokemon, Bag, Card, Save, Options, and Leave. The right half has the time and date at the top, while the bottom is whatever app you may have. Right now, you have no apps, so we'll have to take care of that soon. Dad: So, that's the Pokephone for you! Also, I should let you know about selecting key items. Use the L or R triggers, as well as the Select and Start buttons to assign whatever key item you want to use right off the zubat. ...my apologies. Anyway, Prof. Yew told me that he wanted to see you. So what are you waiting for? Then dad returns to his spot, and you are free to go wherever. As you exit the town, either starlys or zubats will fly across the screen depending on what time of day it is. You can go anywhere in Alebdayat Town, but you can't exit the gates, of course. You have to visit Prof. Yew, remember? Anyhow, once you approach the front door, it'll open before you get the chance to do so, and out comes your rival. Music whenever your rival appears: Enter the Rival! (HG/SS) Rival: Oi! Didn't see you there, -name-! Lookie here, I already got my first Pokemon! Yeah, that's what Prof. Yew wanted us for. To get our starters. Looks like he imported them from Sinnoh or something. Anyhow, it's been a while since we met. Do you remember who I am? Then you can input your rival's name. Canonically, it's Lavir, but you can name him whatever you want. Lavir: Well, anyhow, I better get a move on and see what my new pal can do. You should do the same, -name-. Smell ya later! Yep, he says that one phrase. Anyhow, he'll take off, and you can enter Prof. Yew's Lab. Prof. Yew's Lab: Music: Prof. Elm's Lab (HG/SS) Once you enter, you'll automatically approach Prof. Yew. Yew: Ah, good to see you, -name-! I've been waiting for you. Lavir has already taken off, hasn't he? Well, never mind him; let's see what we got.

Then both of you will walk towards the table that has the starters. And it's the Sinnoh starters for this adventure. Choose between Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup. Your choice. Once you pick your choice, you both will walk back to the same position. Yew: Now, -name-. Remember that Pokemon are your partners, so you must treat them well. One way is to release them from your Pokeball and let them walk behind you. You don't have to do this, though, so how about it? If yes: Ah! Your new Pokemon seems to enjoy the fresh air! How nice. If no: Okay. I understand. Either way... Yew: -Name-. You once told me what your goal was. That goal was to become the champion of all of Carfia. There's a town that should be your first target. I think the first one you should take is the one in the City of Enaser. So get 'em, kid! Show 'em what you're made of! Not minding that bit of cheesy dialogue, let's head out! Oh, and by the way, an AIDE will stop you and give you a potion along the way. Now that that's done, the elder will be waiting for you outside. Elder: Ah, -name-! Look at how much you've grown! You might be wondering why am I here. Well, someone is waiting for you at the gates. I think you should meet him. Head to the gates, and... Lavir: Hey, -name-! How's it going? What's that? You just got yourself a new Pokemon? Well, how about that! Say, -name-. How about we have a quick battle? I'll show you how I'm the better trainer! And now, our first battle of the game! It's with Lavir! Depending on what starter you chose.... Music whenever you battle your rival: Rival Battle (HG/SS) Rival Lavir No items A Male Lv. 6 Turtwig (N/A) with Overgrow, holding nothing, and is Adamant. It's EVs are 4 Speed EVs. -Tackle -Withdraw OR A Male Lv. 6 Chimchar (N/A) with Blaze, holding nothing, and is Naive

It's EVs are 4 Speed EVs. -Scratch -Leer OR A Male Lv. 6 Piplup (N/A) with Torrent, holding nothing, and is Modest. It's EVs are 4 Speed EVs. -Pound -Growl First Hit Hey, nice move! Low health: Oh dear. Gotta shake things up! When battle ends: Holy cow! How the hell did you beat me? Or Hah! See? I told ya! Reward: 500 Pokedollars Music that plays after you battle your rival: Enter the Rival! 2 (HG/SS) Lavir: Well, that was quite a first battle, wasn't it? Well, I'm going to make my Pokemon tougher and ace to the top! You should also get a move on! Elder: Hoho! Well, that was a fine battle, youngsters! Both of you look towards the town hall, and you see the elder. (The music changes to the town music.) Elder: I haven't seen such a spectacular battle since your parents fought in this same field. It almost feels like yesterday. Then he walks towards you. Elder: I know both of you will work hard to strive for you goals. Just remember, and I may be breaking the record at this point, but trust and love your Pokemon. Your teamwork is fundamental to your success. Take care out there! Then he walks back to the town hall. Lavir: Oooookay. Well, now that's over with, I'm off! -Name-, you should listen to that old man and hustle your bustle! Smell ya later!

Then he walks away. And with that, we can finally head into Awela Road! Awela Road: Music: Route 1 (B/W) Type: Plain Welcome to Awela Road. It's just a single road heading east. There is an NPC who right in the middle of the road (next to the long vertical grass) that, if you talk to him, he will talk about pokeballs and catching Pokemon. NPC: Why, hello there! You must be a trainer starting out! I take that you've never caught a Pokemon before, no? If you say Yes, Okay. Here, let me show you how to catch a Pokemon. He'll go into the grass and show you, well, how to catch a Pokemon. That was easy, wasn't it? Just weaken the Pokemon and try to catch it. Here are some pokeballs to help you out. See you around! If you say No, Oh. Well, here's some pokeballs anyway to start out. See you around! You'll get five pokeballs, either way. Oh yeah, I should mention about battle music. The wild battle music changes depending on what kind of environment you're in. The same thing will happen with trainers with the appropriate music. Plain: Kanto Wild Battle Building: Jhoto Wild Battle Water: Hoenn Wild Battle Cave: Sinnoh Wild Battle Forest: Unova Wild Battle Anyhow, there's no one else, so let's get on with the wild data! Concerning the data, there is no day/night restrictions, although the cycle itself exists for other purposes. Wild Data Starly 2-5 50% Lillipup 2-5 50% ...that's it, really. Anyhow, with that, let's head east into Songhay Town! Songhay Town: Music: Accumula Town (B/W) Here we are at Songhay Town! Right away, you'll see Lavir at the entrance. Lavir: Hey, -name-. What's up? I've been toughing up my team a bit, and catching some new ones with pokeballs I got from that

nice little fellow you saw earlier. Anyway, I got something to show you. Then he'll lead you to the Pokemon Center, which is the red/gray building. Lavir: This is the Pokemon center. The nurses there will heal up your Pokemon and you can buy some items there, as well. Speaking of which, I better go inside. See ya later! Once he goes inside, you are free to go around a bit. The orange gate at the bottom leads to somewhere, but we can't get there yet. If you try to go through, the guard inside will stop you. Guard: I'm sorry, but there's a landslide that's blocking the way. You'll have to come back later. So where do we need to go? Well, at the mini-park in the bottom-left, you'll see two people (a white and a black) there. If you talk to them first: White: Look. It's important that you cooperate, or else there will be trouble. Black: At your terms? I get a better deal with mother nature, for crying out loud! White: Look, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. Now try leaving the town to the north, and you'll be stopped by a sudden yell. White: I said to cooperate! Then you'll run to the scene, which there's already a crowd, Lavir included. Music that plays during this scene: Sage (B/W) White: I'm telling you. Working for me is for your own good! I promise that it'll pay off in the end! Black: I've seen your work and your treatment for my kind. I will not be involved! White: Well, I'm not taking no for an answer, young man! You either work for me, or you can kiss your butt good-bye! Black: Well, what are you going to do? White: ...you asked for it. Then the white guy will send out his Tangela. White: Tangela, grab him! The black guy will try to run away, but he's entangled before he could get away far enough. White: Vine whip his ass until he bows before me, even if it kills his sorry soul. Then Tangela will whip on the black guy for a bit before another NPC speaks.

NPC: What is that guy doing?! Then, the black guy will speak again. Black: Okay, okay! Stop it! I'll do it! I'll work for you! Then the Tangela will stop, and he'll be returned to his owner. White: Good boy. Now get up. We have much work to do. Then the two will leave for the north, leaving the crowd stunned. NPC 1: Did you see what just happened? NPC 2: I did! What was that white jerk doing? NPC 3: I heard that he's from the far east of Carfia. That kind of treatment is far more common the more east you go. NPC 2: You're kidding! Well, now I know not to go eastward. Then the crowd will disperse, leaving you and Lavir alone. Lavir: Did you hear that? This kind of stuff is abundant in the east! And speaking of which... He turns towards you. Lavir: Isn't that where the Pokemon League is? Well, if we want to go, then we have no choice. I'll see you around. Smell ya later. Then he'll take off, as well, and then it'll return to normal music. Now go north, and you'll see someone not there before. If you paid attention to the crowd earlier, you'll see that he was part of that crowd, as well, but not one of the NPCs that talked. Go up to him, and he'll turn around. Music that plays whenever you talk to him: N's Theme (B/W) ???: Hmm? Who might you be? He'll slowly walk towards you as you back the same. Jim: The name's Jim. Pleased to meet you. You saw that outbreak that happened earlier, I assume? He'll then shake his head. Jim: What a shame. That kind of behavior shouldn't have to occur. If only those two would agree more peacefully..... Bah! Never mind. I never got your name, by the way. ...-name-, isn't it? Well, -name-, maybe you had a better way to settle that scene back there. ...ah, you have Pokemon with you, don't ya? Well, I have a few of my own to keep me company. I haven't battled with them in a long time, though. So let's have our Pokemon play with each other, no?

Then it'll go into battle mode! Music that plays whenever you battle Jim: N's regular battle theme (B/W) Pkmn Trainer Jim: No items A Male Lv. 5 Lillipup (N/A) with Vital Spirit, holding nothing, and is Jolly It's EVs are 4 Speed. -Tackle -Leer -Odor Sleuth A Male Lv. 5 Starly (N/A) with Keen Eye, holding nothing, and is Adamant It's EVs are 4 Atk. -Tackle -Growl -Quick Attack A Female Lv. 6 Munna (N/A) with Synchronize, holding a(n) Oran Berry, and is Bold It's EVs are 8 HP. -Psywave -Defense Curl -Lucky Chant First Hit Interesting..... Last Pokemon: Hmm? You're doing well. Low Health: So the results are sealed. Or is it? When battle ends: Whoa. Very nice. Very nice indeed. Or Tch. What a shame. Well, you can't win every battle. Reward: 500 Pokedollars Jim: Well, that was a refreshing battle for a change. Ah, I know! Maybe this will help you. Then Jim will give you TM 49 (Echoed Voice).

Jim: That is a TM. If a Pokemon can learn it, you can choose to teach it or not. Don't worry; they won't run out. Some time ago, TMs have been upgraded to not break after one use. Well, I better get going. We will meet again. Then Jim will walk to the north. Now that we're free once more, finish up whatever business you need to do, and head north into Hausa Entrance! Hausa Entrance: Music: Dreamyard (B/W) Type: Plain There is not much to see here, to be honest. It's just an entrance to the Sahara Forest. There is an NPC that will talk about trainers. NPC: You're going into the Sahara Forest? Be careful in there. In addition to wild Pokemon, there are also trainers that are itching for battles. You best avoid their eyesight should you wish to not battle them. There are wild Pokemon to catch here, so let's go. Wild Data Munna 3-6 60% Lillipup 4-7 40% Just one new Pokemon. Now, with that, let's head inside. Sahara Forest: Music: Eterna Forest (D/P/P) Type: Forest Welcome to the first dungeon in the game. As you can see, the map style was completely changed to fit the scale of the supposed plan for Sahara Forest. The Black Line is where you can go. The dark green represents trees. The light green is grass. And you'll notice 3 orange dots. Those are trainers. They are a youngster, a bug catcher, and finally another youngster. The red dots are items, by the way. There's new Pokemon also, and also this is the first place to get shaking grass. I'll list the shaking grass data in addition to the regular wild data. After that it's the trainers. Well, let's get on it!

Reward: 300 Pokedollars Now, any business left to finish? If not, let's head into the City of Enaser. City of Enaser: Music: Striaton City (B/W) Welcome to the City of Enaser. First off, let's take a look at the map before any story segments.

The PC and Gyms are clearly defined (if not, the red building is the PC, and the orange is the gym). That squidgy line at the top is a ledge. You can't access the are behind it until much later, and even then, it's a one way down. The gray building is a corporation building. Sounds familiar? Anyhow, one of the houses has an item, which is a Super Potion. Now that we have that out of the way, as you enter the town, you'll meet a guy at the entrance. Melentes: Greetings! I am Melentes, the gym leader of this fine city. I wager that you would like to battle me? Well, unfortunately, kiddo, that would have to be priority #2, since we have quite a bit of a problem. Come with me. Then he walks you to a spot between a house and the PC (facing north). Melentes: You heard of the incident back at Songhay Town, correct? Well, that white man was part of a clan called the White World Wingers, or WWW for short. They are...obsessed, to say the least. Their race being a superiority among all is their primary goal-what am I saying? Their only goal, mind you. They seek to have every other race kneel down before them. That's not to say that all whites are bad, or all of the other races are good, but these guys take vocal minority to a whole new level. I hear they are somewhat experienced in Pokemon battles, as well. I'll wait here for you to get ready. When you are, speak to me. If you have any business to do up to this point, do so. By the way, there's a move tutor in the PC that can teach Icy Wind. Trust me. You will want to have at least 1 Pokemon to learn this. Once you're finished, talk to him again? Melentes: So? Are you ready? If yes

Then let's go. If no Take your time. You two will walk up to the street with the corp building in front. There, you will see 5 WWW clan members (which wear white jackets and white baseball caps) and another one in front, but with a floppy hat (think Link's hat but white) confronting a Hispanic worker. Music that plays when this scene happens: Team Plasma theme (B/W) Leader: Give it up, taco-eater. You lost. Come with us to where you belong. Hispanic: No! I still have my job here! It's gotta be better than whatever the hell you crooks are cooking up! Leader: *sigh* Do we have to do this? Get 'em, brothers and sisters! Then the clan members will surround the poor worker, leaving him trapped. Hispanic: Oh, p-p-please! Spare me! Melentes: We can't let them get away with this! Let's save him! Then you two will rush foreward. Melentes: OI! YOU! Leave that man alone! Then all the WWW members will turn to you. Leader: Hmm? Who we have here? If you know what's good for you, you'd best stay out of our way. Melentes: Over my dead body! Leader: Well, I guess we'll have to take you, too. You there! Then the clan members will face towards him. Leader: 3 of you will help me get the man. The rest of you...get the kid. Then he and 3 others will surround Melentes while the other two will run up to you. Music that plays whenever you encounter a WWW member: Team Plasma encounter (B/W) Male Clan Member: Heh. You're just a little twerp. This should be a piece of cake! Battle time! This time with the bad guys! Music that plays whenever you battle a regular WWW member: Team Plasma battle (B/W)

Then, you'll see the other 3 grunts getting beat, look at each other, and fall back behind the leader. The leader will look at you, then back to Melentes. Music that plays once the leader speaks: Team Galactic Appears (D/P/P) Leader: Hmph. You two are quite strong. I appreciate that. But I won't be taken down easily like the others! ???: What's going on here? Then Lavir will show up. (But the music stays the same.) Lavir: -Name-. What are you doing here? And who's that guy? No, not the guy next to you. The guy with the floppy hat. Leader: Ah, yes. Through all this chaos, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Jr. Master Booth. Booth: Our clan seeks to have the rest of the races within our arms. Our race is the one and only supreme race! Join us, and we shall grant you whatever you desire! Lavir: Tempting, but no thanks. How about we do the reverse? ???: Jr. Master! Is something the matter?

Then all of you will turn around and see SIX more regular clan members. Clan member in middle front: Jr. Master! You seem to be in trouble! Booth: You think?! Take care of this man and new boy. Then the six clan members rush towards Melentes and Lavir. Booth turns towards the defeated clan members. Booth: As for the rest of you, retreat and recover your Pokemon. All five: Yes, sir! Then they'll take their leave. Booth turns towards you. Booth: And as for you... Booth will walk towards you. Booth: I'll make you regret going against us if it's the last thing I do! Melentes: Hold on! Then he rushes towards you. Melentes: Let me heal your Pokemon. I have a bad feeling about him. Then he goes back. Booth: Hmph. So be it. Now, you little midget. Taste the wrath of the WWW clan! Boss time! I think. So, yeah, first time that the first boss is NOT a gym leader. How odd. That' ought to teach ya! Reward: 500 Pokedollars Booth: This really shouldn't be happening! Pfft. Fine. We'll leave you guys alone. But don't think you've won the war just yet. We'll meet again. Farewell! Then the screen will turn black and they're gone in a flash. The Hispanic man (who was stunned silent that whole time) approaches all of you. Hispanic: Oh, why thank you! I thought my life would take a turn for the worse right there! May I have your names? Lavir: Mine's Lavir. This is -name-. And this guy's...err... Melentes: I'm Melentes. Pleasure to meet you.

Hispanic: Oh, thank you all. I shall talk to my boss about what happened. But he's quite a busy man. I'll let you know if anything happens. Oh, yes. Take this, as well. He will give you TM 102 (Round). Then he'll walk back into the building, and Melentes turns to the two of you. Melentes: Now that that's done, how about we have some battling of our own? Why don't you two get hitch a visit to my gym? Lavir: Sounds great! Melentes takes his leave, and Lavir will turn towards you. Lavir: Listin, -name-. I know that we stick together in that fight earlier, but now, it's back to business as usual. You better get a move on if you don't want to get left behind. Smell ya! Then he'll take his leave, and you are free to go. So where are we to go now that this WWW mess is cleaned up? Why, the Gym, of course! Let's head inside. Ciy of Enaser Gym:

Welcome to the first gym in the game. The gimmick/puzzle here is that there are 3 orbs, each representing a type, whether it'd be grass, fire, or water. You have to approach the gates, and insert the one that is strong against (i.e. Red Orb on Grass Gate). Oh yeah, Clyde is there, as usual. But he won't give you a Fresh Water this time. Sorry. But he does have something else to say:

Clyde: Yo there, champ in the making! The name's Clyde, and I'm here to help you out take the gyms out with ease! This gym uses various types to outwit your team. You got to do the same, but you can't just stick with the basics. You'll know what I'm talking about in the trainers ahead. If you don't have the attacks that are super-effective, try to get one that resists their attacks. Oh, and by the way, new to the gyms here in Carfia is that once you past that gate, you can't get out until you beat the gym leader. So make sure you're fully prepared before you venture in. Yep! Now, you have to take out the gym in one sitting, so hopefully you either trained your Pokemon up a bit or bought enough potions. Anyhow, let's go over the gym trainers. By the way, even though this is a building, the Jhoto trainer battle won't play. Instead, it's the gym battle music from D/P/P. So let's not waste anymore time, and let's go! Trainers: Youngster Todd No items Battle Start Speech: Welcome to the Gym of Enaser. Fear the various elements that shall overwhelm you! Reward: 500 Pokedollars Once you made it past the final gate, you can finally battle Melentes. Melentes: So good to see you. Now, it's time to test your skills. Do you know how to match the elements? Let's find out right now!

Music that plays whenever you fight a gym leader: Unova Gym Battle (B/W) Leader Melentes: 1 Super Potion A Male Lv. 14 Staravia (N/A) with Intimidate, holding nothing, and is Jolly It's EVs are 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP. -Aerial Ace -Tackle -Double Team -U-Turn A Male Lv. 13 Turtwig (Don) with Overgrow, holding a(n) Miracle Seed, and is Adamant It's EVs are 252 Atk, 200 HP, 56 S.Def. -Razor Leaf -Headbutt -Rock Smash -Leech Seed A Female Lv. 13 Chimchar (Taylor) with Blaze, holding a(n) Charcoal, and is Timid It's EVs are 252 Speed, 252 S.Atk, 4 HP. -Fire Pledge -Vacuum Wave -Hidden Power Electric -Swift A Female Lv. 13 Piplup (Anna) with Torrent, holding a(n) Mystic Water, and is Modest It's EVs are 252 S.Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP. -Water Pulse -Icy Wind -Hidden Power Grass -Growl A Male Lv. 15 Musharna (N/A) with Synchronize, holding a(n) Sitrus Berry, and is Bold It's EVs are 252 S.Atk, 200 HP, 56 Def. -Psybeam -Hypnosis -Charge Beam -Shadow Ball First Hit Nice one! See if you can keep it up. Last Pokemon: Here it is! The decisive round!

Low Health: Don't get cocky just yet, kiddo! When battle ends: Whoa there! What a splendid finish! Alright, then, you've proven your worth. Or Sorry, but looks like you're not up to snuff just yet. Reward: 1500 Pokedollars Melentes: That was quite a nice battle. You truly know what type of moves to make. For that, you deserve the official Hue Badge! YOU GO THE HUE BADGE! Melentes: The Hue Badge increases your Pokemon's overall attack stat. There are also some rocks out there that need some smashing, but with the Hue Badge, you are able to do just that. Oh yeah here's something for ya. Then he gives you TM 10 (Hidden Power). Melentes: That is the TM for Hidden Power. It's potential depends on the Pokemon itself. How so? Well, you'll have to figure that one out by yourself. Anyhow, since you've defeated me, why don't you challenge the other gyms? Here, I'll even meet you outside. Then Melentes takes his leave, and you can go out. Of course, when you're outside, Melentes will be out there along with what looks like one of those AIDES. Aide: Why, hello there! It's -name-, isn't it? Melentes: And who might you be? Aide: I'm one of Prof. Yew's aides. I'm here to see -name-. Melentes: Oh, him/her? Go right on ahead. Melentes steps back while the aide steps forward. Aide: While you were gone, Prof. Yew retrieved something by an old colleague of his. It was an egg of some sorts, but he told me to give it to you. Now, let me see if you have any room..... If you do: You'll receive the egg. Aide: Take good care of it! Then he'll take off. If you don't: Aide: Oh? Well, that's fine. It can wait. Meet me at the Pokemon center once you've made room.

Then He'll take off, but to the Pokemon center. If you talk to him while you're at the Pokemon center... Aide: So, have you made room for the egg? Either way, this egg contains a Togepi. It's nature and IVs are random, but it will always be female. Anyhow..... Melentes: Now, -name-. Head east of here, and you should encounter N'Djamena Cave. Beyond that lies Bar'eh City, where the next gym leader is. You did find the TM for Rock Smash at the Lake of Chad, did you? I heard there are some rocks that were blocking the way. One last thing: Please be careful. Your journey will only get much harder from here on out. Well, I supposed we'd meet again. See ya! Then he goes back inside. Now, we can go to right to the entrance of said cave. But before we go, there's one last thing I'd like to point out. In one of the cafes (don't know actual place yet), in the outside area, you'll find Jim just chilling in there. Talking to him is optional, and there's no battle. It's just for 'story' purposes. Jim: Ah, -name-. Good to see you. No need to battle. Just have a seat. You proceed to do so. Jim: There's been quite a ruckus in the region recently. Wouldn't you agree? (Saying yes or no doesn't matter.) Jim: Well, in any case, it saddens me that such a ruckus had to be risen by such rebellious gangs across the region. See, it's okay if you don't like a certain something. But there's got to be a way to patch it up without resorting to violence. There are certain gangs that unfortunately have fallen to such measures. I wish they could just settle down at least. Something needs to be done. Jim: It's something to think about, if nothing else. You must be heading somewhere. Hopefully we'll see each other again. If you try talking to him, he'll repeat the last statement over. Now, with that, let's head eastward to the entrance of N'Djamena Cave! Entrance of N'Djamena Cave: Music: Route 203 (D/P/P) Type: Plain So, it's off to a new road we go. Quite a bit of new stuff. (Although, like always, please don't judge the art for these maps.) First off, all, there's a house that's quite important. Inside is a fisherman. Fisherman: Yo, kid! Fishing is the way of life, isn't it? Well, why don't you say so? C'mon, you know it is, isn't it? If no:

Aww. I thought you did. Oh well. If yes: Yahoo! I knew it! We could be best friends! Here; have one of my rods and go catch a big one, friend! Then he'll give you the old rod. With that, let's go over the data before we head into the cave. Oh, but first. Those brown circles with some sort of X in them? Those are Rock Smash...rocks, and obviously, you need to use Rock Smash on them. Also, the trainer flow can get a bit confusing to some. Looking at the map, it's left, then down, then the one next to the lake, then it's the one right above the cave entrance, and finally, the one next to the TM. Anyhow, let's get started! As for the design, it's just a simple maze, with dead ends leading to items. By the way, 1 of them is hidden, and it's pretty early on. Oh yeah, trainers. There are 5 of them, and the order is the one right near the entrance, the top middle, the bottom middle, the bottom right, and then top right. Finally, there's a staircase (which goes down) that we can't get to yet due to a strength block

There's a Pkmn Breeder coming up. I don't know if this will be in the final version, but if there is, certain trainer classes (like Breeders, Rangers, Ace Trainers, Veterans, etc.) are a little more skilled than others. They will have a special battle theme to go with them should you battle them. It's a fan remix of the Hoenn Gym battle theme, but with a HG/SS twist. Again, this is tentative, not confirmed for the final version, but the notes here will assume that it is just in case. Pkmn Breeder (F) Michelle: 3 Sitrus Berries Battle Start Speech: Hi there! Reward: 1000 Pokedollars Nygpit: I must report this immediately! Please excuse me. Then he goes back, running. Well, with that robot out of the way, let's head into the next city! Bar'eh City: Music: Cerulean/Fuchsia City (HG/SS) Welcome to the city of...Aletrekyes City. This is the next city with a gym, so I think I know what you're thinking. But before we tackle that, let's go over the other...point of attractions. Aside from the PC, there's 6 buildings dedicated to a certain stat. Obviously, they won't look like that, but each building inside houses a few people that are...pretty much fanboys of that particular stat. They want to...focus on that particular attribute. As for the other 2 exits, the north one leads to a dessert, and there's quite a bit of a sandstorm going on, so that's out. And as for the east one, there's a guard that won't let you through due to construction business on the other side. Well, there's nothing else to do off the top of my head, so let's face the gym! But as you enter, Lavir comes out. Lavir: Why, hello there, -name-! Didn't expect you to be here. Well, I just beat the gym leader. He's probably licking his wounds at the moment. Then a small pebble falls on top of him. (Note: The gym leader heard this.) Lavir: Ouch! What was that? ...anyhow, I better get going. I'd challenge you, but I'll be nice and wait until we're both even. So get in there! Then he'll leave, leaving you to enter the gym. Bar'eh Gym:

Well, this is it. The second gym in the game. The gimmick here is that there are 5 trainers laid out in a star-like fashion. In the middle is the teleporter that'll take you upstairs to the gym leader. BUT, it's sealed. On the teleporter area there's a switch that'll randomly decide who will you face. Once that trainer is defeated, then you start over until you beat all 5 trainers, in which the teleporter unseals itself. Now let's go over the actual trainers. Like I said, they're laid out in a star-like fashion. Each trainer represents a certain stat that needs to be countered in some way shape or form. From the right, and going clockwise (ending in top) is the Atk, Def, S.Atk, S.Def, and then Speed. Alright? Let's go. Trainers: Youngster Alek: 1 Super Potion, 1 X Attack Battle Start Speech: Hello! On the second floor, you'll find the gym leader, Miyagi, who seems to be worried about something. Try talking to him. Miyagi: Ah! Good to see you! The name's Miyagi. I'm always looking for new challenges, and you seem to be one of them. I saw you outside while talking to that lad. It was me who threw that pebble. That comment made me a little uneasy, so why not a little payback, eh? Anyhow, what are we waiting for-? But then he gets interrupted when someone (a different youngster) comes rushing towards Miyagi and you somehow got out of the way. ???: Mr. Miyagi! There's a riot outside! Miyagi: Oh, is there, Daniel? ???: Yes! I don't know what's going on outside that, but you need to hurry, quickly! Then he rushes back. Miyagi: I'm sorry, kiddo. But there's business to be done. You can help me out, though. Then, he goes out. You'll have to follow him out. When you do, there's about 10 members (NOT WWW, btw) outside confronting 5 different members (all from different groups, by the way). The one furthest back steps forward. Music whenever a rouge gang appears: Team Rocket Theme (HG/SS)

???: Attention to all citizens of Bar'eh! We are the association representing the health point focus. For too long, we have been shunned just because we can't have natural access to better our health. But that ends today! From now onMiyagi: Oh, quit yapping your motorhole, will ya? We get it. But don't blame us! ???: Really? Don't blame you? Then explain why we keep getting rejections to be represented at the local gym! Miyagi: ...I've said it before, but you wouldn't listen. It's just nature! ???: Yeah, yeah, we heard that napperjunk before. Boys! Take 'em down and show them who's boss! Then 5 of the boys will take on each individual member (one of them's Daniel), and 4 of them will surround Miyagi. Then the leader will go up against you. ???: You seem new around here. The name's Hearty. Hearty: I'm going to assume that you overheard what we said, so no need for repeats. Anyhow, your look tells me you're on their side. Well, sucks to be you, but you're joining the others. Time for a rouge gang battle! There are multiple gangs/groups around Carfia similar to this, but we'll get there when we do. For now..... But there's a more peaceful way of doing so. Hearty: There is? Miyagi: Yes. Swing by sometime, and we'll work it out. Hearty: If you say so. Boys! We're heading back! Then all ten members leave. Miyagi: The five of you...get some rest. Then those 5 leave as well. Miyagi: You too.....-name-. By the way, the way you battled was spectacular! Don't make me wait too long for our battle. I don't have much time. Then he'll make his way for the gym. By the way, you should heal up too. Once you done that, try to enter the gym, and-

Then he gives you TM 106 (Agility).

Miyagi: That TM contains Agility, which will sharply raise your Pokemon's speed to give it an edge. Well, you must be headed somewhere. But unfortunately, the the desert north of here is too dusty to get around with goggles, and I heard that there's a guard east of here that doesn't allow trainers that are strong enough. Nothing that I can do. In any case, good luck out there. Then you'll be free to go. But as you exit outside... Melentes: Hey, -name-! Good to see you! You turn around and see Melentes walking towards you. Meneltes: How's it going? You just beat Miyagi, right? ...ooh, that's the Excel Badge! Well, that proves it. One more thing: Head into the HP house, and find Hearty. Hearty: What are you doing here? Oh? That riot back then? Well, we've talked with Miyagi, and while things aren't fully settled, the ball's rolling, at least. Oh yeah, here's a Pokemon to hopefully help you out. He'll give you a Munchlax. Hearty: That is one of our key Pokemon. I can only hope it's useful to you. So, now let's back track all the way... *backtracking* Songhay Town: And we are at Songhay town once more! Now, try entering the gate to the south. The guard will stop

you, and you go up to him. Music that plays in gates: Gate (B/W) Guard: Ah! I just wanted to inform you that the landslide has been cleaned up, so you can head towards Fulani Port if you wish. It looks like you got the Excel Badge from Miyagi, alright. So I'm going to keep my word and challenge you...if that's alright with the guard. Guard: Sure, why not? I'm getting kinda bored, anyway.
