December 11, 2009 To: SUBJECT: Dear Dan: Thanks for your call today to clarify the above referenced topic. To reiterate, the Ambassadors employed or under contract by the Lake Merritt/Uptown District Association and Downtown Oakland Association, can proceed in the following manner with regards to City Property: City Property Snow Park Veterans Administration grounds Frank Ogawa Plaza Security Ambassadors Allowed Yes Yes Yes Maintenance Ambassadors Allowed Yes Yes No Mr. Dan Lindheim, City Administrator, City of Oakland Clarification on Role of CBD Ambassadors on City Property

Therefore, our Security Ambassadors will be allowed to monitor and service all of the three above listed City properties. The Maintenance Ambassadors will be allowed only at the Veterans Administration and Snow Park, not Frank Ogawa Plaza. Please clarify if I have not understood these updated instructions. Thanks for taking the time to call and set the record straight on these issues.
