2012 Buffalo Community Health Fair is a Success!

Over 400 people came out to the fair, featuring 44 vendors, free prizes and great local resources. The "Rethink Your Drink" theme was a big hit. We have been asked to attend several other events after people saw our booth. Nice Work Sam!

Proposals are due on April 1st. - UCare Fund: In 2012 they have grant opportunities for 4 areas including; Obesity reduction. - Grants related to Farm to School/School Nutrition: Listing is through the U of MN Extension - Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation is offering grants through a Connect for Health Challenge - Mn/DOT is accepting applications for Safe Routes to School planning assistance grants and noninfrastructure implementation grants

ECFE Family Fun Fair: April 21, 2012:

10 a.m.1 p.m., at the Discovery Center Gym in Buffalo. This fair is a resource and informational fair including organizations that serve families with children aged birth to Kindergarten. Exhibits and refreshments are planned for families and interested residents of Buffalo, Hanover and Montrose schools.
