What were learning
Our Bible stories for this week are Saul Disobeys God and David and Goliath. We will be reading A Big Day for Jay and Lost in our basal reading books. We are focusing on the ay and ea sounds. Math will include adding 9, fractions, and writing money amounts with a dollar sign. We will learn about the life cycle of the frog and butterfly this week. We will focus on the letters p and b in handwriting.

Assignments
Here are some ways to challenge your child: Math Create your own store with items priced. Write the price tags using a dollar sign. Play store using dimes, nickels, and pennies to pay for store items. Writing Design a postcard/card to give to a friend inviting them to Easter for Kids. Science- Write a story from a butterflys perspective including all the stages of growth. Important Notes

We have our field trip to Round Table Pizza this Tuesday, March 27th. We will be loading up at 9:15 and returning around 11:00. Please make sure your child brings his/her booster seat and wears his/her yellow field trip shirt. On Sunday, March 31st, Apostles has Easter for Kids! Enjoy bible stories, crafts, singing and an egg hunt. The program runs from 9:00 to 12:15.
