The candidates shall be required to qualify in each objective test as per the cut-off marks determined by individual banks. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the objective tests which will result in negative marks for every wrong answer i.e, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. (b) Descriptive Test Only few banks have the procedure of conducting descriptive test. In case there is an option of conducting descriptive test, they are of qualifying nature only. Test of English Language usually falls under the umbrella of qualifying paper.
Note: The question paper for above test both Objective and Descriptive except the Test of English Language and Descriptive Paper will be printed bilingual ie English and Hindi. Bank will decide the minimum cut-off marks for each test as well as Total Weightage Marks.
Depending on the number of number of vacancies, such of those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the order of merit in the written test as per the cut off marks decided by the Bank will only be called for the interview. Technical questions may come from your previous job (if u you are already working), projects that you have done, academic subjects and about the bank also. So, prepare well on one subject from your academic curriculum, do a good research on the bank and rehearsal mock interviews. Candidates who clear the written test are called for personal interview. Banks like Corporation bank makes the final selection by reviewing the candidate on the basis of Personal Interview and Computer Literacy Test. The final scores are then added to shortlist the candidates.
