March in review!
Weve had an awesome March starting with National Childrens Day on the 4th. We had a double celebration with the children as we also celebrated the baptism of Anya Megan Layfield. It was lovely to see family and friends celebrating alongside the congregation, a very lovely & personal service. Sunday school has been busy during lent. This month we have been learning about Noah, rainbows, & the 10 commandments boulders (the older group) were discussing if God had text Moses the 10 commandments, what would they look like! It gave our learning a modern day interpretation of the bible and was awesome fun! Have a go at these & see if you can work these few out: 1. no1 b4 me. Srsly. 2. Dnt wrshp pix/idols. 3. Dnt kill ppl. 8.Dnt steal. Our virtue for March has been forgiveness. The children have been discussing how we interpret this in our surroundings and everyday life. Aprils virtue is friendliness. We had a lovely 3SA on Sunday 18th March where we heard a beautiful story, Jesus helps the blind man see. The storyteller Anne was awesome & really brought the story alive! We had awesome fun & reflection bringing the tale alive in our interactive groups. Huge thanks to the amazing 3SA team who help coordinate this faith experience.
