Excellent AM-PC Series Programming Instructions

To use and program the hotel safe, please kindly read and follow the instructions carefully:

Door position: OPEN

Switch off the safe’s power ( switch position : off ) and wait 3 seconds then
switch on ( Switch position on ) The hotel safe LED display will show
“SECURE” and then show “Good
1) Enter programming code ：key in ＊＊， the screen will show “PROG” then
input the programming code “9 4 1 2 2 9”
Now the operation screen starts to turn-the safe is on programming mode.
There are two programming screens to program with the following orders:

First screen:

The options:
1) CODE APPEARANCE ON SCREEN
Press 1 -The personal code number will appear each time the code is entered.
Press 0 -The personal code number will not appear each time the code is entered.
( when opening or closing the safe, the display just show “------” instead of digit
code.
2) NUMBER OF COMBINATION CODE DIGITS
Press 3 -To program safe for 3 digit code.
Press 4 -To program safe for 4 digit code.
Press 5 -To program safe for 5 digit code.
Press 6 -To program safe for 6 digit code.
Press 7- could use the safe with 3-6 digit code
3) Keypad auto lock AFTER consecutive 4 wrong code or card
Press 0 -for auto lock of 0 minutes.
Press 1 -for auto lock of 15 minutes.
Press 2 -for auto lock of 30 minutes.

4)Time DELAY BEFORE OPENING

Press 0 -for a delay of 0 minutes.
Press 1 -for a delay of 8 minutes.
Press 2 -for a delay of 10 minutes.
Press 3 -for a delay of 12 minutes.
Press 4 -for a delay of 14 minutes.
Press 5 -for a delay of 16 minutes.
Press 6 -for a delay of 18 minutes.
Press 7 -for a delay of 20 minutes.
Press 8 -for a delay of 22 minutes.
Press 9 - for a delay of 24 minutes.

5) CODE NUMBER APPEARANCE AFTER SAFE’S DOOR CLOSURE

Press 0 - code number will not show after safe’s door closes.
Press 1 - code number will be shown each time after safe’s door closes.
6) CODE NUMBER OR CREDIT CARD TO CLOSE SAFE’S DOOR
Press 1 - In order to close the door, the user program his/her code and press
LOCK(#) or slide the credit card instead, the safe memory will remember this
last code/card. A new code/card can not be filled in, unless switch on and off the
safe to reset the safe RESET (off =>on) - suitable for private use.
Press 2 - In order to close the door, the user press his/her code then press
LOCK(#) or slide the credit card instead - a new code number/card can be filled
in each time the door is opened - suitable especially for hotels use.
Press 3 - In order to close the door, the user presses his/her code then press
LOCK(#) and slight the credit card. Both systems combined to ensure double
security. A new combination code/card. can not be filled in, unless the activator
switch was RESET (off =>on) - suitable for private use.
PRESS LOCK(#) AND YOU WILL SEE THE SECOND SCREEN READY
FOR PROGRAMMING.

The options:
Windows 1,2,3 are using for changing the motor time rotation (these options are
meant for the producer).
1)Press １
2)Press ２ like the example above
3)Press ２
4) No ACTIVATION
Press 0
5) MASTER CODE/CARD
Press 0 - Master code & master card are not in use
Press １ - Master code is in use only
Press 2- USE master card only
Press 3- Master code and master card together
Press 4- either master code or master card

6)THE LATEST 100 SAFE’S OPENING RECORDS

Press 0 -- keeps opening record, but could not read form LED display .
Press １-- keeps opening record, and could read form LED display .
Press 2 -- keeps opening & closing record, but could not read form LED display.

Press 3 -- keeps opening & closing record, and could read form LED display

Choosing the option to see the 100 Latest safe’s openings and /or closing
records:
The safe’s door in position: open.( the locking bolt should be retracted )
Press code　：＊＊ ，the screen will show “PROG”,then input the code “6 2 1
2 2 3”. you will see the 100 Latest safe’s opening records ( read the information
from right to the left).

FOR EXAMPLE...

The beginning the user will see the first screen with 6 numbers, then press the
“LOCK”(#) key, the second screen will appear also with 6 “—”. Then you press
“LOCK(#) key , and you will see the third screen.

Number 1, 2 ,3 means – No. of the record

Number 4 -------- keep blank
Number 5 means – if it show “0” , means opening the door
If it show “1”, means closing the door
Number 6 means – by which way door is closed or opened
If show “1” , means close or open the door with user code
If show “2” , means open the door with the master code
If show “3”, means open the safe with CEU
If show “4”, means switch on the safe power and the door open
If show “5” means use the user card
If show “6” means use the master card
If show “ 7” means use master code and master card together
If show “8” means use the user code and user card

you could press the “LOCK”(#) key to turn to the next screen and see the next
records. If you want to directly see last 58th opening record, just enter 58 and
press “LOCK”(#) and it will show the 58th record..

HOW TO RESET THE MASTER CODE

To reset the master code, you need first switch off the safe power and switch
on after 3 seconds ( this is to activate the master code reset system )
Door position: OPEN
1. Press ＊ ＊ ,the screen will show “PROG”,then enter the current existing
master code( factory preset is 0 0 0 0 0 0 ) 。
2. the LED display will show “NEW”
3. enter your new master code ( 6-12 digits ) and “#”key.
4.the LED display will show “AGAIN”, then enter again the new master
code and “#”key to confirm .
5. The LED display show “DONE”, the new master code is set.
The master code must to be programmed by 6-12 digits!
( please don’t set master code as 941229, 621223, 922149 )
IF YOU WANT TO RESET MASTER CODE AGAIN, YOU NEED
SWITCH OFF AND SWITCH ON THE SAFE POWER AGAIN.
