SKROVANKO SKOVRANXO
1. On Q9JUN04, Reporting Agent (RA) and Special Agent Matthew PLAUCHE met with RP2 Paul SKOVRANKO and Mrs. Stacey SKOVRANKQ, parents of H SKOVRANKO (V/SKOVRANKO) at Hope Cottage in Beaufort, SC. The purpose for the meeting was to conduct a forensic interview of V/SKOVRANKO relevant to information provided by her parent's, wherein they indicated she disclosed being sexually abused^ Also present were Ms. Kendra ; and Mrs. R , forensic interviewers at the Hope Cottage facility. RP2 and Mrs. SKOVRANKO provided authorization for their daughter, V/SKOVRANKO, to be forensically interviewed by RA at Hope Cottage. The interview was video and audio taped and the videocassette tape, which recorded the interview, was subsequently entered into the Naval Criminal Investigative Service Resident Agency (NCISRA) Parris Island, SC Evidence Repository under Log Number 122-04. 2. The interview was initiated with an introduction of RA to V/SKOVRANKO. Subsequent to an introduction, V/SKOVRANKO was advised that the interview was being video and audio taped. Furthermore, V/SKOVRANKO was provided with the following rules regarding the interview and room; (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) "If I say something wrong, you can correct me or tell me the right thing". "If I ask you a question and you don't understand it, O.K., I'll ask it in a different way". "If I ask you th& same question more than once Hannah, it's not because that I don't like your answer, I just may have forgot". "If you don't know the answer to something, it's O.K. to say I don't know, but I don't want you to guess". "In this room we always tell the truth".
3. Subsequent to the explanation of the rules, RA obtained an understanding off the occupants of V/SKOVRANKO' s residence as well as pets. V/SKOVRANKO provided RA the names of all family members currently residing in her residence as well as pets within the household. V/SKOVRANKO then demonstrated an understanding of truth vs. lie and demonstrated an understanding of morality. These demonstrations were exercised with the use of a truth v. lie book, la each instance, V/SKOVRANKO demonstrated an understanding of the concept of the consequences of telling a lie. 4. At this point in the forensic interview, V/SKOVRANKO was shown an unclothed anatomical drawing of a female child and when asked
