Many people have exotic pets The owners usually release them when they get big Nile Monitor lizards are feeding owl eggs A snake can get to 20 ft long and 200 pounds Monk parakeets maybe threatening Native plant species and also damaging crops Giant African snails are as big as a mans fist The snails carry parasites called meningitis When domestic cats run wild theyre called feral The Coqui frog is as big as a U.S quarter Its very difficult to get rid of these pets

Science and technology are bringing change In the next 20 to 30 years there will be a need for knowledge based jobs Some jobs will always be around like medical jobs Highly skilled workers will be in demand Biomedicine and nanotechnology will flourish Computers decrease but also increase jobs Trends will make some jobs flourish Many tech jobs have moved to India and China You should choose a job that interests you A high school diploma will not cut it these days Sometimes its about finding a job you like

There are millions of children in the U.S who dont have medical insurance They skip seeing doctors to avoid paying the fees because they cant afford it In 2001 people with no insurance increase to 43 million Health care costs soar because of the aging population People mostly get medical insurance through jobs Health insurance jumped 14% in 2002 Its even more difficult for children Just small things can have consequences Even working full time might not get you health insurance Children cant even get vaccinations 27 million Americans rely on public insurance Theres a lot of anxiety not having health insurance
