    Computers, electronics, communication, audio, video technologies have converged closely to produce a new style of operating business

    The dynamic business environment of today is full of challenge and opportunities The dependence on information technology is increasing day by day Enterprise comprises of the larger business community covering all the players and their participation in the business

    Hence the information system development should be enterprise wide and it should sense the situation and act accordingly

    Eg: HR management, where presence or absence of Employees triggers productivity issues ,which has resulted in computerized attendance monitoring system

    Business today demands paperless operation, a wireless communication, a transparent and automated operations in all the departments of an organization

    Therefore an integrated business information system is needed with latest technologies Such an integrated solution is called Enterprise Management System (EMS) Therefore EMS is an integrated business information system with latest technologies

    ERP: Enterprise Resource Planning Systems ,for resource planning &control system by middle management

    EDI: Electronic data Interchange System for commerce, communication and action CAD/CAM/CAE: Computer Aided design, Manufacturing and Engineering Systems for Production Management

    AMS: Attendance Management Systems of Employees DMS: Document Management systems, imaging, copying documents CMS: Communication management systems-Mobile, Internet, intranet extranet, video conference

    SMS: Security Management systems: Close circuit television (CCTV), alarm & monitoring systems
