Compguide Investment (Pvt) Ltd was registered on 1 November 2003 before the name
was changed to Compguide Security (Pvt) Ltd in 2007 to incorporate some of the
services which were identified as important to the operation of the company. It started to
be fully operation in 2006 and its main specialty was to lay pavers. Embedded in all
products is a promise and guarantee of customer satisfaction and financial security. It
may be relatively young, but it certainly does not intend running in the shadows of the
more established construction firms. It aims to become Zimbabwe’s preferred pavers and
bricks supplying company with a growth that positively responds to the client’s needs and
wants. Compguide intends to achieve this by being creative and innovative on the way it
does business. Again, its formation came after it was realized that there is much to be
done in offering different products which other big players were reluctant to offer. One of
the key factors that set Compguide in a different field is the fact that, they are prepared to
work in a flexible environment which suits the client’s needs and finances to ensure that
the client is provided with the best possible product at a reasonable price. Compguide is
aware of the current hyper inflationary environment, and promise to give clients value for
money through the perfected products.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This is a manufacturing project, which is aimed at producing pavers/bricks of
high quality. Pavers or bricks will be produced from high-tec machinery, which
will hydraulically compress the concrete mixture in moulds of different shapes
and sizes. The compression will be high powered to produce the highest quality
of pavers, which will be strong and durable. The pavers will be produced from
state of art technology.

√ The project is not static in producing only known type of pavers as new moulds
can be designed and interchanged to produce different types of pavers. This
variation in types and colours will accommodate different taste of customers
thereby gives us comparative advantage over others.

√ The machine compresses the mixture of sand and cement alternatively cement and
quarry dust, which would have been moisture to the required texture. The pressure
of the compression can be adjusted to suit the required exact quality of pavers
unlike others which are currently produced from common vibrators.

√ Pavers will be produced on pallets unlike the common methods of producing them
on surface floor, which may result to uneven one side surface of the pavers.

Products

There are a large variety of shapes, such as hexagons, pentagons, octagons,

parallelograms, fans, keyhole-shapes, X-shapes, W-shapes and more. As mould
technology and production techniques continue to evolve, you can be sure that interesting
and more wonderful shapes will make their presence upon the paver marketing pathway
Unique designs can be created by mixing and matching different shapes and colors. Some
shapes and their patterns are of larger dimensions and they need a larger area to show
their beauty. If you have a combination of larger and smaller areas, combining different
shapes will be easy. Keep in mind that you should use color combinations for a pleasing
effect.

Project Requirement
Compguide intends to raise the money for the for the purchase of the state of art
machinery with the capacity of producing more than 28 000 pavers or bricks per 8 hr day
shift and we are prepared to get the money in the form of a loan which will be payable
within a short period of time. We are also applying to the Donors or well wishers who
might be willing to assist with the funds to start the project which will help us in
rebuilding our economy. We are also prepared to enter into partnership with anyone
