ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering was established in the year 2007. The department provides undergraduate programme in Instrumentation and Control Engineering and postgraduate programme in Control Systems. The department caters to the ever challenging needs of technical excellence in all areas of Instrumentation and Control Engineering. The department is equipped with Virtual Instrumentation Centre and advanced laboratories like Process Control Laboratory, Industrial Automation Laboratory, Embedded system design Laboratory, Distributed Control Systems Laboratory etc. PSG-NI Virtual Instrumentation Centre is a collaborative centre started in the year 2000 by PSG College of Technology and National Instruments (NI), USA which is the first centre in India in the field of Virtual Instrumentation.
