Farewell bash at JIMS

As they say in Any chapter of life, there is always going to be an ending. Therefore bidding goodbye is always is the time to come. As time flies the reminiscence of the past can be felt, like a change in the season of the LIFE @ JIMS. On Sunday evening, the staff and the students of Jagan Institute of Management studies organized a bash on the st 1 of April, 2012 at its premises. The nd occasion was bidding adieu to the 2 year students, from PGDM Batch (2010-2012) by 1st year students. The occasion started with a welcome address speech by Dr J.K Goyal and Dr Madan Mohan. An evening of mixed emotions, the evening saw all the

students from 1 year and the 2 year batches The aura of the evening was the unforgetfull moments from the past of our students. The transformation from mere students to industry ready professionals was immense and was seen and felt at the heartwarming speeches given by the students. They shared their experiences and moments spent @ life of JIMS which were discussed and remembered. With a positive thought they discussed their favorite faculties and their fellow students. Life at JIMS was the best that they can cherish throughout their lives. From students they were seen as managers and they were all thankful to the ALMAMATER as they fondly call JIMS.

The management thoughts were engrained in their minds and their etiquettes. The evening was a gesture of thanks to all the hard working teachers who as backbone serve them with the best of their talent and help. The air was light and came as pleasing for both the students and the faculty members. The students came into the full swing of fun and masti through live performances and games. Short and humorous activities were organized like identifying colors on various themes like the one is who is wearing a purple tie, or who has a 50 paisa coin, matching wardrobe, person without socks and gifting the winner with a prize. Also, there were performances seen by st the 1 year students like performing Bhangra,

solo singing, playing guitar and fashion parade which showcased their spirit of confidence and the boost The seniors shared their thought of advice to juniors regarding their exposure of industry which would be useful for them as stepping stones in corporate. The moments of joy and sadness was in the air as the evening ended with tearful hugs and bidding adieus, followed by a feast. Lastly, the evening ended with the staff and the present students sang the song Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna which always would be recorded in the memories of JIMS.
