NOTES OF THE WEEK
1. Reading went 2-0-1-0 this past week to complete the regular season on a season-long six game unbeaten streak (5-0-1-0). In the twelve games since
March 12, the Royals have gone 9-2-1-0.
2. The Royals went 10-4-1- M 1 8yals (and seventy-four sepa-
rate months in which the team has played in the ECHL) that the team ever won ten games in a single month.

4. The Royals were the nal team to qualify for the ECHL playos this season and will be the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference and take on the top-

5. Reading earned a playo berth with 80 points in the standings (36-28-4- l team has qualied for the
playos with 80 points. (In 2010, the team went 37-29-6=80). The Royals have never gained a playo spot with less than 80 points.
6. The Royals won both home games played this past week, extending the teams home win streak to a season-long four games. Nonetheless, the Royals
ended the regular season with a home record of 15-17-1- 8 a losing record at home.

The Royals went 2-5 in those games (2- -3 in the
shootout). Ten of the sixteen games played between Reading and Elmira
were decided by one goal. The Royals went 3-2-2-3 in those games.
3. In the sixteen games played between the Royals and Jackals, the Royals
compiled a record of 5-6-2-3. Elmira is one of four teams (out of eleven dier-
ent clubs played) against whom Reading had a losing record. The others were
the Chicago Express (1-3-0-0), the Florida Everblades (2-4-0-0) and the South
C S -3-1-0).
4. The OTL in Elmira on Friday ran the Royals record to 11-2-2-1 in the sixteen
games played on the road on Friday this season. Overall, the Royals went 16-5-
2-1 on Fridayswhich was the best day of the week for Reading.

in Elmira. That marked the twenty- 8
within a game and did not register the win (0-14-4-4), establishing a team rec-
ord in that regard. This game also marked the tenth game this year that the
Royals blew a two-goal lead (and in one of those games, the team held two
separate two-goal leads).
6. Nine of the Royals twenty-two blown lead games were against the Jackals (0
-4-2-3). Reading was unable to hold two-goal leads in seven of those games.
7. Overall, Reading compiled a record of 23-13-3- A u
5-6-0-1 against teams from the North Division; and 8-9-1-0 against the South.

Haines ended the regular season with eight assists over his nal seven games. Haines ended the season with thirty-four points (11g- -four games,
tying his total last season with the Royals in his rst year as a pro.
8. Ian OConnor scored the games rst goal in Fridays 3- L
That was his rst rst goal of the season. OConnor also scored his second short-
handed goal of the season (the other came on November 30 as a member of the
Stockton Thunder) in Saturdays game. OConnor also assisted on the rst goal in
-point game (in twelve played) as a
Royal. OConnor played to a plus-4 (+4) in his 12 games with the team.
9. OConnors short-handed goal on Saturday night was the 11th SHG of the year
