All of us have to learn to manage our Work-place in the most efficient way in whatever time available. Five-S is a Japanese Concept of Work-place Management, which is targeted for employees at all levels and belonging to all Sectors. Be it Industries, Corporates, Banks or Hotels, Restaurants and even schools, colleges, social organisations like hospitals, Municipal Corporations; Five-S is useful & applicable to all, including the Home makers. Five-S is a specialized and systematic function for transformation of work place through involvement of all the employees by understanding good housekeeping and good manufacturing practices and the sustenance of the same. Course contents, broadly are: What is Five-S? Understanding Aspects of Five-S How to implement Five-S & Advantages of Five-S Case studies: one of an Industry and the other of Home experience.

Profile of the Trainer: Ms. Mujumdar has contributed from November 1983 to May 2011, as the Founder Member, General Secretary & former Co-Chairperson of the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) for propagation of Basic Quality Concepts. She has been instrumental in reviving the inactive Vadodara Chapter of QCFI and institutionalising it with the help of a team, to the extent of making it the number one chapter, having won First/Second Awards for more than 16 years. A regular faculty on Five-S, Kaizen, Quality Circle, Problem Solving Techniques, she has conducted more than 900 training programmes for all levels of employees. Also she is a QCFIHeadquarters certified Lead Auditor for Five-S

Ms. Mujumdar has the experience of participating and organising Conventions on Qualtiy Circle at State and National levels, with an over-all total of 60 Conventions to her credit. An innovative, unique and Pioneering experiment of Ms. Mujumdar has been the : Implementation of Quality Circle at Home, Rural Quality Circle and Five-S at home. Her Articles on QC at Home have been reprinted/republished by USA, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Philippines, Mauritius and several Indian organisations of high repute. She has received Individual Award at the hand of Shri N. D. Tiwari in 1987, and several awards on behalf of QCFI-Vadodara Chapter at the hands of Shri T. N. Seshan, Mr. M. Chenna Reddy, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, and President Emeritus of QCFI Mr. P. S. Rama Mohan Rao, Dr. R.C. Agarwal; President- QCFI and other VIPs. She has been the recipient of two Awards of QCFI for Long Services offered and one Award in December 2009 at the hands of Mr. Anerood Jugnauth, who has been both the Prime Minister & the President of Mauritius. Ms. Mujumdar has written books on Quality Circles in Gujarati & Hindi & has tavelled to UK, France and Switzerland besides being on the Jury for conventions in Mauritius & Beijing Registration Fees: Rs. 1000/- for BDMA Members, 1200/- for non-members and Rs. 500/- for Students.
