GUIDELINES TO THE STUDENTS

* On completion of registration students must verify particulars of the admit card for correctness in all aspects. In case of any discrepancy students must send an email, within 1 hour of processing the registration, to coe@iutripura.edu.in, exams_admin@iutripura.edu.in, and support@iutripura.edu.in. Mails sent on the following day or later will not be considered. * If your photograph is not displayed on the admit card, please send a passport size photograph immediately to the Students Services Department mentioning your name and enrollment no. on the reverse of the photo .* Students must bring their admit card and some identity proof (e.g. passport, voters ID, driving license etc.) to the examination and produce these documents for identification to the invigilator. * Students are expected to strictly adhere to the indicated reporting time. Students reporting for the exam later than 15 minutes of exam commencement will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

* Students are prohibited from carrying mobile phones into the examination hall, even in the power off mode. 1. 2. Students must bring required stationery to the examination. Students must occupy the seat number allotted to them as per the admit card. Any alteration made to the allotted seat number, can be verified from the Know Your Seat Number list displayed at the test center. Please note that students may be allotted different seat numbers at the same test center for different sessions. Only simple four function calculators or scientific calculators are permitted in the examination. Programmable calculators, laptops, palmtops, digital dairies, pagers, etc. are not permitted inside the examination hall. Carrying impermissible calculators can be construed as a malpractice. Students must verify the correctness of the subject title and subject code mentioned on the cover page of the question booklet. This information should match the information on their admit card, as per registration. Any discrepancy should be brought to the notice of the invigilator or the chief supervisor and the correct question booklet should be obtained. If students wrongly answer question papers not applicable to them evaluation and re-examination will not be carried out. Students must verify that the answering material provided to them is as indicated on the question paper cover page. Students must open the question paper seal only at the scheduled time. While marking the attendance in the roster, students must mention the serial numbers of the question book, answer book and/or OMR sheet issued to them. Students should not damage the answer booklet or OMR answer sheets. Students are prohibited from resorting to any kind of unfair practice during the examinations as it will lead to debarment from examinations.

10. Possession of mobile phones in the examination hall, even in power off mode, is strictly prohibited and can lead to debarment from examinations. There is no provision for assuring safekeeping of the mobile phones at the examination centers. 11. Students will not be allowed to leave the examination center earlier than 1 hour after commencement of the examination. 12. On completion of the examination, students must return the OMR sheet and/or answer booklet to the invigilator; non-submission of answering material will be treated as an unfair practice. 13. Results will be posted on the university website on the due dates. Students can access their results and download their memorandum of marks using their password. Results of students who have arrears of fees and/or who have resorted to unfair practices in the examinations will be withheld. If result is declared inadvertently for students who have resorted to unfair practices, the University reserves the right to treat the result as withheld. 14. The examination fee paid for registration for the examinations will not be refunded nor will be carried forward to the next examination. 15. The University reserves the right to postpone or cancel the examinations or reschedule the examination dates at one or more or all test centers. In such cases, students will be duly informed of the revised schedule. 16. In case of any grievances about the examinations students may write to the Controller of Examinations, within three days from the date of examinations, for necessary action.
