the Magic Square Fund, Some organizations and some individuals have been very very generous--for example! Edison contributed $519; Harding $100; Taft and students $321; Ferndale Rotary Club $200; Ferndale Exchange Club $200; Ferndale Metropolitan Club $550, In addition to the Magic Square donated by Darin & Armstrong, Ina,, which is in operation in Roosevelt Park, Mr. Ray E. North, Ferndale's Ford Dealer has donated $7 1 500 toward a Magic Square in Wilson Park. Additional gifts are: $4,000 from an anonymous donor, $2,000 from the Bonner Foundation, making a grand total of $20,282.71 in the bank at the present time, We want to construct the Magic Square in Wilson Park and the bases, which include tennis posts and basketball goals, in Harding, Taft, Mapledale, and Wanda parks this spring, We hope to have them ready for use before school is out in June, For this phase of the program approximately $15 1 000 more is needed.
