INTERNAL VACANCY NOTICE

We are pleased to invite applications from internal candidates for the below mentioned position: Job Title Department / Section Reporting to (title) Main Responsibilities Senior Aircraft Dispatcher OCC / OPERATIONS Operations Controller 1. To ensure all activities are in compliance with Sharjah Aviation Services, customer airlines and the regulators procedures. 2. To ensure that all Sharjah Aviation Services and Airport Authority Emergency Orders are adhered to, as required. 3. To be the Senior Member of staff at an aircraft arrival or departure, ensuring that the turnaround information flow is through the Aircraft Dispatchers or Senior Aircraft Dispatchers 4. To perform Dispatch job function for specialised products. 5. To perform the 6 point check on every Load sheet, every time. 6. To sign off the legal documentation required for any flight. 7. To ensure stands are clean and free from Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and to dispose of any FOD found accordingly. 8. To ensure all relevant staff and GSE are in attendance for aircraft arrivals at -5 minutes to ETA. 9. To ensure all relevant staff and GSE are in attendance for aircraft departures, as required. 10. To ensure that the airlines carry maximum payload, and to proactively manage the offload procedure of customer airlines, liaising with all SAS departments and eternal agencies or airlines, as required. 11. To deliver excellent information distribution to all customers, both internal and external using the communication channels available, ensuring a professional and efficient service delivery at all times. 12. To make LMC Changes on Load sheets, in compliance with customer airlines procedures, ensuring the legal and safety implications are observed and adhered to at all times 13. To ensure that all Trip Files are complete and taken back to OCC for further processing. 14. To ensure company uniform and grooming standards are being adhered to at all times. 15. To assess the procedures of Sharjah Aviation Services continually for possible improvement. 1. High Secondary or a closely related field. 2. At least 3 years experience operational activities in an Aviation Industry. 3. Excellent knowledge of principles and practices governing the operation of airports as determined by Sharjah Airport Authority. 16th Jan 2012
