Could uh, would uh, should uh..

Those are statements we are grateful we no longer have to tell ourselves after enrolling Brandon at the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Wake Forest. For years, we looked for help.doctors, specialists, teachers, therapists, family, and friends. It took years and relocating 500 miles away from home to Greensboro, NC to get a diagnosis for what has hindered Brandon since birth. Since Brandons diagnosis with Dysgraphia and Dyspraxia, we have utilized medication, outpatient OT, PT, and Speech Therapy along with those same services offered in the school system. A business meeting introduced my husband to Domenic and Susan as they were in the process of opening the center. It became very obvious to us why we had really met. This was meant to be for Brandon. We read Dr. Melillos books and attended an Open House to hear him speak, which led us to have the intake testing done and ultimately lead to the writing of this testimonial of our sons initial successes through the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Wake Forest. Brandon is currently in his 12th week of the program..and oh the changes and smiles we are experiencing already. He hit the ground running and hasnt taken his foot off of the gas. He has owned it. Here are some of the improvements were seeing already, just to name a few:

He is physically and emotionally stronger He is self-sufficient He is improving academically He is voluntarily helpful He is initiating and carrying on conversations He is maintaining eye contact even during difficult conversations He is self-aware

He is making new friends He is more confident in his abilities He is happier As parents who did our due diligence before enrolling our son, we feel truly blessed to be seeing the improvements while we are so early in the overall process. This also has us all tremendously excited about Brandons potential and the continued growth that is yet to come. This program will continue to benefit the entire family as it has also been a family effort. While Brandon is the catalyst for his success, we cannot stress enough the importance of complete family involvement in every aspect of the program. Its something we all can take great pride in. Words cannot express the gratitude we have for all that Dr. Melillo and the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Wake Forest has done for our family. We also consider everyone at the center a part of our extended family and wish them all the best. They have been an amazing source of inspiration and reassurance for us. Without a doubt, because of this program and everyone in it, Brandon now has the tools he needs to be the best Brandon he can be. In Brandons words, Im kickin butt and takin names. Eternally Grateful, The Peterson Family Eric, Michelle, Brandon, & Connor
