Renewable Energy Sources(RES) include SHP, BG, BP, U&I and Wind Energy SHP= Small Hydro Project ,BG= Biomass Gasifier ,BP= Biomass Power, U & I=Urban & Industrial Waste Power, RES=Renewable Energy Sources

Note: The generation stations with installed capacity less than or equal to 25 MW are indicated under RES.

The installed capacity figures in respect of RES is based on MNRE email of dated 21.02.2012 from Ministry of Renewable Energy where cumulative Grid interactive power installed capacity has been indicated as 22644.04 MW as on 31.12.2011.(Reconciliation of installed capacity of Hydro capacity resulted in transfer of 135 MW from conventional to SHP-RES and retrieval of installed capacity of 67.20 from SHP-RES to conventional Hydro has resulted in net addition of 67.8 MW to SHP under RES. Also 30 MW of capacity in the nature of Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant at Goa Energy Private Limited under U&I category of RES. Out of this installed capacity due to wind and small hydro amounting to 508.67 MW appearing in captive capacity has been deducted to arrive at installed capacity of utilities in respect of RES.(22644.04508.67+67.8+30=22233.17)). As accertained from I R P Division, the shares of Indra Gandhi Supper Thermal Power Station (Jhajjar) allocated by M O P are 231 MW each to the States of Delhi & Haryana & 38 MW as Unallocated. Accordingly the Installed Capacity owing to Indira Gandhi S T P S is shown in the Central Sector. The Capacity of The Barge mounted Tanir Bavi Power Station earlier installed and shown in Karnataka is now been shown in Andhara Pradesh(Kakinada) under Pvt. Sector Gas(Prime Mover) as the same has been shifted to Kakinada (A.P.). 10% of the Installed capacity of Pragati CCGT which is indicated to be Merchant Power by IRP Div has been included in I/C of Delhi State Sector. The Unit No 1 (50 MW), Unit No 2 (55 MW) and Unit Nos 1 & 2 (20 MW each) of Bhusawal, Parli and Paras T P S respectively of MAHAGENCO have been deleted during the month of June 2011. Figures at second place of decimal may not tally due to rounding off.
