Christians have responsibilities. As a member of this church and a Christian, you and I share many responsibilities. We are responsible for the ministries of Gods church, for the finances of Gods Church, and for the administration of Gods Church. Our responsibility includes choosing Spiritual leaders from among our congregation to do the work of the Lord in this place. During the Month of May you will be asked to nominate up to ten men to serve as deacons for the coming three years. Every member will receive a nomination form in the mail and will be asked to return it to the church. After proper examination, a list of potential deacons will be presented to the church. Please take this responsibility and all responsibility seriously. Your prayerful assistance is needed. Paul SENIOR ADULT DAY IS COMING On Sunday, May 6, 2012, we will celebrate Senior Adult Day here at FBC Bainbridge. Our Senior Adults are a vital and active group here at the church. We have set aside this day to honor them and their contributions to ministry and fellowship. The Morning Worship services will feature them as they sing, lead and give testimony of Gods grace in their lives. The Saints Alive Choir will be featured as part of this worship. Saints Alive will meet again on Monday, April 30 to complete our final preparation for this service.

Thanks to Tammi Godwin and Ray Harrell for leading the Chancel Choir and the Wednesday night singing, respectively. Its great to be able to go out of town knowing that capable hands are in control. FELLOWSHIP CLUB MEETS AT RIVER Our end of the year event is upon us. Join us at noon on Monday, May 7 as we picnic at the Earl May Boat Basin. Bring your covered dish and your appetite. Pontoon boat trips are scheduled for those who wish to enjoy the river close up. Art

Reconciliation is the purpose of the scheduled 14 day activity will feature multiple concerts in Beijing, China and Pyongyang, North Korea. Thanks for remembering those who sing and play. I will attempt to call back to the church this morning with reports of how the trip is progressing each week. I hope to call during the 11:00 AM service on Sunday.

WHAT'S UP Please continue to look at the youth web page for upcoming events. We have a lot going on and the web page will help you keep up with the dates for trips, deposits, and forms that will be needed. Graduation is here. We need to know who is graduating. Please contact the office to let us know if you, or a loved one, is graduating from high school or college this year. We will be recognizing the graduates on May 20th. You will need to get us five pictures for the CD and fill out a Graduation Recognition form. You can pick these up in the office or download them off the youth web page. Please return them to the office by May 13th and Richard Dykes will need the pictures by May 6th. WHATS NEW Tonight will be the Youth Led Service. Please come and support the youth and hear what they have been up too. There will also be a SNAC following the service @ Skate Towne until 9:30. I am ecstatic about what will be happening on April 27th -28th. We will be having our 30 hour famine and do we ever have some exciting events planned for the students. It will be a time where we fast for 30 hours while keeping busy doing projects to help serve the misfortunate. It will start at 6:30p.m on Friday night and will end @ 12:00p.m. on Saturday. Hope to see you there. The college ministry finally hit 20 students on Wednesday night. This is an answered prayer. Continue to pray for both ministries and that we will keep God in the center of those ministries. Brian
