Dear Parents and Children

It was lovely to welcome the children back after the Easter break. The children have settled into their learning quickly and it promises to be a very busy term. With so much learning to do it is important that children arrive at the correct time. All children should be on the playground before 8.45 so that the day can begin promptly and in the correct manner. We appreciate that occasionally things disrupt this and ask that all parents who arrive with their children after 8.45 enter the school via the front office. It is essential that the late book is signed on these occasions. I have asked Mrs. Chadwick and Mrs. Hoey to ensure that parents sign in. Mrs. M Sanderson

Green Feet, Easter Bonnets and Tudor Houses! What a wonderful selection of green feet have been handed in this week, showing a lot of effort. There is still time for all children to hand in their green foot if they have not done so already. Simply draw around their foot and colour it in in green crayons, pencil or paint. It can then be decorated further with glitter, beads etc. Look out for the vine that will be made up of the green feet coming soon! There is a wonderful selection of Easter Bonnets made by our Reception families. They bring the joy of spring into the school. Year 4 families have also been very busy architecturally and have created some amazingly intricate Tudor buildings. Well done to everyone concerned.

with Mrs Brown in their Art lessons are currently designing and working on a series of banners depicting the Olympics throughout the decades. If you have any fabric, threads, silks etc. that the children can use for this project we would be very grateful. We are also collecting a variety of different plastic tops from jars, cartons, plastic bottles and containers for another art project later this term. Any size or colour would be appreciated as long as they are not metal. Many thanks for your support.
