All workshops take place on two consecutive Saturdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm at Literacy Chicago, 17 North State Street, Suite 1010, Chicago, IL. Volunteer tutors must complete both sessions of the workshop series before being matched with a student. There is a $50 registration fee for training workshops to cover the cost of training materials. Some scholarships are available. Please note that the training fee is $65 if you are being trained for a different organization. If registration does not meet minimum workshop size five days prior to the first session, Literacy Chicago reserves the right to cancel the workshop series. In this case, you will be notified of the cancellation and your payment will be refunded or applied to the next available session depending on your preference.
