BACKGROUND

In 1917, during the World War 1, female volunteers from the Salvation Army came to the aid of soldiers serving in France. While, in United States, the volunteers laboured generously to make sure there were sufficient donuts to go around for the soldiers who instantly felt like they were back home. In 1920, an enterprising refugee from Russia named Adolph Levitt , invented the first donut machine in New York City. This invention is to meet the growing demand for the tasty donuts sold at his bakery. In 1981, to claim the Guiness World Record for donut eating, John Haight gobbled up 29 donuts in just six minutes. Big Apple Donuts and Coffee was established in Malaysia on 2nd May 2007. They struggle to be different and their donut are not the same as other brands of donut which exist in the market.
