Gonzalo Garza Independence High School

April 20, 2012 Letter of Recommendation: Zoe Roland Zoe Roland has the ability to laser focus her concentration for extensive periods of time. As Garza High School is a self-paced work environment, Zoe thrived in Advance Placement Literature & Composition where her cognitive written communication flourished within an environment that pushes intrinsic motivation, and as a result, achieved exemplary work. One of her most amazing character traits is her aptitude for challenging herself to excel within each assignment. Zoe never fussed or feuded over the complexity of being asked to re-examine or question the literature at a deeper level; she went back and started again. She realized how to discover the answers; it was her journey to take. She continues to be a persistent and an independent thinker who advances her own knowledge and understanding to achieve a quality product. This young woman is also an amazing young mother who nurtures and teaches her daughter in order to set an exemplary example of the importance of continual learning. She is a student of incredible strength of character, thinking, and motivation. Even if she doubts herself, she will reflect and think and rethink how to craft the assignment clearly and precisely. Zoe is an astounding learner eager to excel. Zoes tenacity and incredible ability to persevere will surely drive her next endeavors in examining a career that enhances both personal and academic success.
