Doral, Florida community that had pleasure moving here three years ago with my aunt. Doral is a city located in north-central Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. An upscale suburb of Miami, it lies north-west of Miami International Airport. It takes its name from the famous golf and spa resort within its municipal boundaries. The famous Doral Golf and Spa Resort, was built by Doris and Alfred Kaskel, who coined "Doral" by combining their names. Doral. In Doral the majority of the people live gated community, only time they associated with their neighbors shopping centers, church, children school, or activities. Doral gated community if you visit anyone they have to be announced, know one comes knocking on your door. Coming from a neighborhood from before that friends and neighbors would come knocking on your door, it has been different. Also living in a Condominium, children not playing on the street or street vendor selling fruits, used to live in a Hispanic area in the City of Miami. Doral, a community that the majority of the people living here are Hispanic descent and the minorities from all different countries because of were is located. No one leaves there area they all stay in their surrounding shop, children attend local school, eat at local reasturant, worship at local churches. Even own or work at local business, individual do not leave the surrounding areas, only time is to visit friends or appointments at other areas. Been of Nicaraguan descend this community makes you feel at home, the majority of this Community is Venezuelan. In Doral Park, 90.04% White (35.4% were Non-Hispanic White,) 1.45% African American, 0.31% Native American, 6.44% Asian, 0.20% Pacific Islander,

1.16% from other races, and 0.40% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race was 56.14% of the population. Doral is the city with the highest percentage of Venezuelans in its population in the United States, at 20.6% Venezuelan. The Venezuelan is prominent because of the food, people . Venezuelan community has made Doral, every were you go friendliest of the town and the people. Asian community, moved to Doral Park because of the close to the Airport and all Major Corporation nearby, plus it has many 500 Fortune Companies here. Business is growing here and this is where the Asian Community wants to expand there economy. With excellent business district and logistic, and health and hospitality also the Miami Free Trade Zone, the Asian Market has office here. . Also Asian own business and are employed by local Hospitals and corporations in our community. Their children are learning to speak Spanish, English and learning there family tradition. We have many that have moved to our building, children are well mannered and they chose Doral because of the magnet programs. Our Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez, been the leader of community since July 2003 until this year. The Mayor is Hispanic Cuban descent and has done many things for this community In Doral to offer one of the best educational systems in the area. All public schools serving Doral are rated by the State of Florida as "A" schools for academic achievement. Whether you want your children to attend excellent schools, or you're looking to continue your studies, Doral has all the right choices. Police Chief Gomez is Hispanic and our Parish Priest was born Margarita, Venezuela , since our Community is mainly 45 % Venezuelan he has become Pastor of Our Parish Our Lady of Guadalupe, many

Family activities and our parish has grown even though we have at a local school. Father Mago our Parish Pastor has tried to combined the communities has one ,not make them divided because of the diversity of our cultural. The diversity of my Community with all the Business here in Doral is multiculticultural,consitant to Hispanic, White, Asian, and Blacks.. Since we have many large corporations in this area that serve here locally, throughout the United States and abroad. Anyone that can afford to live in Doral and qualified for a background check is eligible to move in to this area. One Television Channels here in Doral are Univision (http://www.univision.com/) Univision Miami is the connection to the more than 1.9 million South Florida Hispanics with a collective spending power of over $50 Billion Dollars. Univision Miami stations have an unparalleled relationship with the local Hispanic community and 52% of our Adult 18-49 viewers can not be reached on English Language Television. In prime time, WLTV 23 is the most watched station among all viewers in key demographics Adults 18-34, Adults 18-49, and A 25-54. When concerning Spanish Language broadcast Television, Univision is chosen by the Adult Community because of the News , Telenovelas and International News from there home Country. We have local Community Paper the Doral Community Newspaper, features article about different recreation cultural events in our community. The Doral Newspaper ,very informative little newspaper gives information on the new small business that they are opening up in the area. Doral, growing Community and have minority that can afford to live here will move here.This area is expensive to live in the median income is $35,000(23.9% greater to live than in other areas of Florida) Statistics proves it.
