Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited, a joint venture company promoted by MMTC Limited (a Government of India Enterprise) and IPICOL (a Government of Orissa Undertaking) requires professionals for its 1.1 MT integrated steel plant located at Kalinga Nagar Industrial Complex, Duburi, District Jajpur and its captive mines located at Koira, District Sundergarh, Orissa. The Phase-II of the project consisting of SMS and CCP is in the advance stage of commissioning. Major units of project are 110 ton BOF, 6 strand Billet Caster, 418 tpd Oxygen Plant, 300 tpd Limestone Plant and 100 tpd Dolomite Plant. We need urgently persons with suitable qualification and experience to fill-up the following vacancies:

6. The candidate must have minimum 22 years work experience in a large integrated steel plant, out of which at least 5 years in senior position in operation/ maintenance of Coke Oven Batteries, Coal Handling System, By-Products Plant, BOD Plant and energy management in Coke Oven & ByProducts Plant. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in dry quenching facilities. The candidate must have minimum 22 years of experience in industrial project execution or associated industries. He should be capable of leading a team of experienced engineers and project personnel at site and able to provide effective coordination with project consultants and various construction agencies so that the project is executed smoothly from start to commissioning. He should have sound knowledge in contract management and monitoring of project activities. The candidate must have minimum 22 years relevant experience in Open Cast Metaliferrous Mines involving planning, budgeting, operating, managing projects, mechanized mining, quality control, safety and environment management. He should be capable of leading a group of experienced engineers and mines personnel and coordinate with different agencies (both Govt. and private). The candidate must have minimum 22 years of work experience in a large integrated steel plant. The candidate must have thorough knowledge and experience of various types of maintenance like PPM, CBM, TPM etc. He will be required to lead a team of engineers for optimum utilization of plant and machinery. He should have relevant experience of tackling emergency situations and will also be responsible for reliability and maximum operational availability of the equipment of the steel plant.

He should have fair knowledge of spares management. He should have worked as Head of Mechanical Maintenance of at least one of the production shop like BF, Rolling Mills, Power Plant, Coke Oven & By-Products Plant, SMS, Sinter Plant etc. at least for 4 years. Alternatively he should have worked as Head of Mechanical Maintenance of an integrated steel plant covering the entire plant at least for 1 year.

General Conditions:
