Contest Rules & Regulations:

Theme : Entries must strictly adhere to the competition theme Its more fun in the Philippines. The artwork should be able to artistically and truthfully depict the unique Filipino culture, tourist destinations, diverse activities, exotic natural attractions, fiestas/festivals, etc. that make travelers experience fun when in the Philippines. Medium : Entries should be executed in full color using acrylic, oil, pastel or watercolor. Any surface may be utilized for the artwork. Size must be from 2 feet x 3 feet to 3 feet x 3 feet (including the box frame) mixed media and collage works are not allowed. Wet paintings will not be accepted. Entries should be properly stretched with a box frame or in wrap-around stretcher. Categories : 1.) Non-Professional Category - for students from 13 to 23 years old Participating students must be enrolled in a school accredited by the Department of Education (DepEd) or Commission on Higher Education (CHED) 2.) Professional Category - for individuals 24 years old and above The contest is open to all nationalities provided that the participant is residing in the Philippines for the duration of the contest. Entries coming from any part of the Philippines will be accepted. Employees and relatives of PAGCOR employees up to the third degree of affinity or consanguinity are disqualified from joining the competition. Submission of Entries : 1) Each participant can submit a maximum of two (2) entries. 2) The entry to be submitted must contain the following: Artwork Title of artwork Caption or Brief Text Description of the artwork Certificate attesting to the ownership of the artwork 2x2 colored picture of the participant Personal Background or resume of the participant ** Above requirements may be personally delivered or sent via courier to the Concierge Section of any Casino Filipino branch or at the CCD office, PAGCOR Hyatt Corporate. 3) All entries should be signed by the artist on the lower right hand corner of his/her artwork. 4) To qualify, the artwork to be submitted should not have been entered in any other art or design contest, nor ever published or printed commercially. 5) All entries should not bear an image of any government official. 6) Deadline of submission of entries is on June 15, 2012. Criteria for Judging : The selection of the finalists and winning entries shall be done using the following criteria: Adherence to Theme 35% Technique/Execution 20% Overall impact 20% Composition 15% Color Harmony 10% During the judging, the entries shall not bear the name and/or school of the participant or any identifying mark on the artwork. Prizes at Stake: Following are the prizes at stake for the competition:

Venue for the screening, evaluation and selection of winners is at the Airport Casino Filipino in Paranaque City. Date of final judging is on June 27-29, 2012 (Friday). Announcement and awarding of winners is on July 6, 2012 (Friday) PAGCOR Ownership and Use of Artwork: PAGCOR shall have the sole ownership of all winning entries (finalists and semi-finalists) and may utilize the artworks for the Companys communication materials. The winning entries shall be featured in the 2013 PAGCOR Calendar.
