I have been trained by Inter News, an NGO affiliated with the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation). During my training, I learned different tips on the coverage of election campaigns, and I was taught how to develop effective communication skills.

Major Projects: - Directed Behind the Scene of First Ever TVC of Lucky Cement - Brand - Made Several In office Employee Montages for Lucky Cement-Corporate Communication - Organized Events along with Corporate Communication Team - Wrote Articles in the internal newsletter Lucky Charm - Took part in CSR activities along with Corporate Communication Team Experience June 2008 to Present Currently Working in APNA KARACHI FM 107 as freelancer, one of the leading FM stations in the city of Karachi. - Production: Lining up of guests for the Program, listing up the songs to be played on air, and Preparation of questionnaire related to the topic of the program. - News and Current Affairs department: News gathering including approaching the concerned people and interviewing them regarding the said news.

Apna Karachi Call Centre: Interacting with the listeners through phone calls on aired the latest updates as it is happening in the city. News gathering n news playing on timeliness priority. Outdoor Broadcasting: Live coverage of accidents, different social events like concerts, seminars, sport events etc. I also covered various conferences in which I approached the event managers and the organizational personnel and the important guests and asked them questions to be aired live on the radio.

PR Campaigns: I enthusiastically arranged exhibitions including an international exhibition on All About Life Styles Exhibition sponsored by Dawn, the leading English language Daily of Pakistan and an ECO Trade Fair 2008 by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan at the Karachi Expo Centre, which was largely hosted and participated by foreign Businessmen. There I was responsible for interacting with the Participants for any problems they were facing and providing them with appropriate solutions, and introducing them to Different media personnel for their promotion and advertising. METRO ONE TV: Assisting in Production and Direction at METRO ONE TV in their weekly show (weekly round up). Have conducted 15 episodes of the programme .The programme is about social events of the week. Business Management: Working for (M.S Salem Brothers) as their material manger. Its an import/export trading company. Mainly caters the supply of all A+ category organizations.

Skills and Achievements

Arranged various seminars for The University of Karachi which received proper media coverage and all these ventures turned out to be successful. Worked on voluntary basis for the Karachi University Campus radio FM90.6 I attended a conference on radio production and radio programs organized by PPF (PAKISTAN PRESS FOUNDATION) and FES (FRIEDRICH EBERT STIFTUNG) a News Agency from U.S. There I learned how to emphasis on communication and how to develop effective public relation.

Hobbies
Socializing - I have the ability to relate easily to people. I am down to earth and I can communicate effectively to people. I can act well as I have worked for the theatre as an actor and as a producer. Traveling in various parts of the world for e.g. Iran, Iraq, Syria, UAE, and Lebanon.
