Professional Goals: I intend to become an English and history teacher at the secondary level of education. Education: 2012 2008 Field Experience: Fall 2011-Present Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI Bachelor of Arts Degree: Major in English, minor in history Algonac High School, Algonac, MI Owosso High School, Owosso, MI Placement included fours hour a week inside an English classroom observing, planning, teaching, and working with students. Otto Middle School, Lansing, MI Placement included four hours a week inside an English classroom, observing, working with students as a class, and working with English Language Learners on an individual basis. Everett High School, Lansing, MI Placement included two hours a week in an after school tutoring program, working with the students as a whole as well as on an individual basis.

Volunteer Experience: 2011 Camp Erin Volunteer Henry Ford Health Systems Camp Erin is a weekend summer camp sponsored by Henry Ford Health Systems dedicated to helping children deal with the loss of a family member. International Engagement in Mexico Volunteer A Michigan State University sponsored opportunity to volunteer in impoverished cities in Mexico. My duties included working at a childrens shelter. to providing adults with Muscular Dystrophy with a week-long summer camp, as well as providing numerous services throughout the year. 2007-2010 Muscular Dystrophy Association Camp Volunteer The Muscular Dystrophy Association provides children with Muscular Dystrophy with a week-long summer camp, as well as raising money to find a cure.
Personal Interests: My interests include reading, writing, photography, dance, and film. I am a MSU Dance Club Coordinator currently. I was cheerleading captain in high school, as well as the softball captain. I also participated in Student Council, National Honor Society, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Band, and Quiz Bowl.
