Watch Instructions

Please follow these procedures for servicing the Timex/Acqua watches.

Timex/Acqua Watch Service


If there are any watch brands other than Timex or Acqua in the Timex side of the display tower, please remove those watches from the fixture to make room for our product. For example, Beau Brummel, ABC Sports, and Aqualite watches do not belong in our watchtower. Only Timex/Acqua watches listed on the current order form/planogram should be in the case. Set the watches to planogram by matching the slot # on the watch to the corresponding slot # on the watchcase display shelves. Timex and Acqua brand watches will be in the Timex side of the display. Cross reference your number by looking at item # on watch and then replace the T, A or OP at the beginning of the number with a 6 and that will be the number given on the Watch Order Form. There should be no back stock. Check the stockroom for any Gerson shipments and place watches in the watchcase. Box will have white tape with the wording Hold for Merchandiser in red. After all watches are set to planogram, write your watch order. Use the Gerson Watch/Watchband order form to order Timex watches and watchbands. The planogram quantity is 1 per watch style. Therefore, you will place a 1 in the Order Qty space for each empty watch slot. Timex/Acqua watches should only be returned if defective or you are instructed to return. Retails and costs must be listed on return authorizations when returning watches from new program. Omni (Sergio, Aspen and Hampton Bay) watches should never be returned to Gerson! Dead batteries in watches are considered defective and should be returned. The fashion side of the display contains Omni watches. (See Omni service instructions) Remove cardboard sleeves before placing in watchtower. Omni should be in all 7 rows of the designer side of the watchtower (Aspen, Hampton Bay and Sergio). If there are any old Sergio watches in the maroon boxes that were not returned on the Eckerd call-in, give to the store manager to do with as they see fit. Make sure all stock is put out, before writing an order. For ordering Omni, refer to Omni order form and Omni Service Instructions. For ordering watchbands, refer to Watchband service instructions If a store needs a replacement watchtower, keys to the fixture, or replacement locks please notify Gerson. If replacement doors are needed, Eckerd ERC must be notified. If the store wants the new watch program (ordering for the first time) the DM must request from Eckerd ERC.
