On Sunday, May 27, we will be ordaining Brian Steward to the Gospel Ministry. Brian has demonstrated the use of his gifts for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God. We are blessed to have he and his family as part of our church and ministry team. Plan now to attend this special 5PM service on that date. The ordination council will meet at 4PM prior to the service. Many opportunities are before us to serve the Lord this Summer. Vacation Bible School will be June 18-22. That is the same week of the Georgia Migrant Ministry. Both of these need volunteers in various areas. Our own Daniel Dunlap will be leading a mission trip to Bainbridge and would like assistance with lunch each day. Many other opportunities are before us. How will you serve the Lord this Summer? Paul CHILDRENS CHOIRS Our Childrens Choirs did a wonderful job last Sunday night as they shared their music learning with us. Each group was well prepared and inspired us with their skills. Thanks to all the leaders who have volunteered to mentor our children in choir each week. They have all done an awesome job! Wednesday, May 16 will be the last day for choirs before the Summer Childrens activities begin. SENIOR ADULT DAY Thanks to each of the Senior Adults who celebrated Senior Adult Day here at FBC Bainbridge. Special thanks to Lynn Ray for his testimony of Gods grace through his bout with cancer. Thanks to the Saints Alive Choir for sharing in BOTH services Sunday morning. Our Senior Adults are a vital and active group here at the church. We are blessed to have their wisdom and leadership to set the pace for our growth as a church. Thanks for your faithful commitment to the Lord and His church.
