Refund and Test Date Transfer Policy

Candidates who choose to CANCEL their registration more than 5 weeks prior to the test date will receive a refund of the full fee minus an administrative fee of CHF 50. If you wish to CHANGE the date of your test after having received confirmation from us, we will have to charge an administrative fee of CHF 50. A change of date is only possible up to five weeks before the test date. After that we will have to treat it as a cancellation and you will not receive a refund. Please complete the form below and send it back to us by email, fax or post. Within the 5-week period prior to the test candidates cannot TRANSFER or BE REFUNDED if they cancel their registration. The only exemptions that can be accepted are: - Illness - Loss or bereavement death of a close family member - Hardship/trauma victim of crime, victim of a traffic accident In this case, candidates must complete the Form below and attach the appropriate documentation and/or evidence no later than 5 working days after the test date. Acceptable documents may include a medical certificate from a qualified medical practitioner, a death certificate, or a police report. The IELTS Administrator will advise the candidate within one week of lodging the application whether or not their request has been approved. Refunds: If the candidates application is approved, the centre will refund the test fee to the candidate minus an administrative fee of CHF 50. Please attach your complete bank details including IBAN to this form. Refunds are processed by bank transfer in 4 to 6 weeks. Transfers: Candidates must select a new preferred test date which will be confirmed by the IELTS Administrator depending on availability for the selected test date and only if the candidates application is approved. Please note that you will be able to transfer only once. Please note that for the Preparation Day, no refunds are possible. If you wish to change the date you attend the Preparation Day you will be required to pay an administrative fee of CHF 50 and send us the proof of payment.
