Neighborhood Health Connection


Allina Health has introduced the Neighborhood Health Connection project! Research shows that neighbors who do things together are healthier and happier. Thats what Neighborhood Health Connection is all aboutgiving people the tools to create informal neighborhood groups and offering those groups fun and creative ways to make themselves and their communities healthier. To apply for FREE programs and use available online resources please visit www.neighborhoodhealthconnection.org. The application deadline is 5:00 pm on June 8, 2012. Applicants will be notified of decisions via email by June 15, 2012. Free programs - Any neighborhood or community group, or an organization, can apply for these free programs: - Pedometer Fitness Challenge - Money to Support Your Healthy Group Activities (Individuals can apply for up to $250, and ANY community group/neighborhood can apply for up to $2500.) - Online Resourcestoolkit with tools to get you started
