Dear Readers, Im Zaina M Saleh, and this is my first edition of Vas Happenin . The magazine is all about the boyband One Direction and is dedicated to them. I wanted to give them a MASSIVE thank you because they changed my life and I thought this might be a way to do so. No matter how old I become, Ill never forget those boys who taught me how to face life and be happy : Harry taught me to do whatever makes me happy regardless of what people think , and to learn from my low points Niall taught me to be different and carefree Liam taught me to never give up on my dreams Zayn taught me to face my fears Louis taught me to be myself , have fun , and to dress the way I like One Direction is more than just a boy band... Just to make it clear , because Ive been called obsessed a lot now , no ,Im not, if you were there with the boys since the very beginning, knew their lovely personalities, and saw how they still owe it to their fans inspite of the huge fame they reached , youll know why I feel this way . This is not obsession , this is dedication . I want to note out that this is a introductory edition, to show how the next editions will be like. And I want to thank all my readers for their support! One Direction is a British-Irish boy band consisting of members Harry Styles, 18, Niall Horan, 18, Zayn Malik, 19, Liam Payne, 18, and Louis Tomlinson, 20. The boys were put together as a band after auditioning as singles on the 23rd of July, 2010 on the show xfactor . They stood third in the competition and had fans all over the UK since then.

After two years since they were first put together, one direction has now become the biggest boyband all over the world!

ONE DIRECTION INFECTION INVADING THE WORLD!

After their worldwide tour, which included the United States, Canada, Australia, And News Zealand, the boyband is back to the United Kingdom MUCH more famous than when they were gone. One direction now has millions of girls shouting and screaming wherever they go! On their tour, one direction performed for many famous shows such as SNL, icarly, Kids Choice Awards, and many others. They were asked for not less than 50 interviews a day. The boys were also invited to the white house at Easter egg hunt, by Michelle Obama, whom the met in Nickelodeons Kids Choice Awards, but had to decline the invitation because of their busy schedule.

Up All Night is one directions first and only album so far. It was released on the 21st of November 2011 , the album debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart, selling 138,631 the debut UK of album charts copies, and was fastest-selling album on the Albums Chart 2011. The topped the in Australia,

Croatia, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand and Sweden; reaching the top ten in a total of twenty countries. It was released in North America in March 2012, the album entered the U.S. Billboard 200 and Canadian Albums Chart at number one, making One Direction the first ever UK group in history to debut at number one with their debut album in both countries.

Baby-faced, and blessed with the kind of curls young girls go crazy over, and not to forget his lovely dimples and perfectly drawn lips, harry styles is the youngest member of One Direction. His full name is Harold Edward Milward Styles. Harry was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire in England, UK on the 1st of February 1994, making him 18 years old now. While studying in Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, Harry tried auditioning for the seventh series of The Xfactor in 2010. He had his first auditioning as a single on the 11th of April , singing Isnt she lovely by Steve Wonders but was unsuccessful inspite of deep voice and obvious talent. Later, judge Simon Cowell put him in a boyband who was named One Direction by him. Harry hit the headlines when it was revealed that he was dating the xfactors host Caroline Flack, who was 15 years his senior. After a number of death threats to Carline, the pair finally said they were just friends.

Well-known for his cute Irish accent, and his lovely blonds, Niall Horan is the only not English member of one direction. Niall James Horan was born on the 13th of September, 1993 in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland making him 18 currently. Horan was a pupil at Coliste Mhuire, a boys' Christian Brothers school .In 2010, Horan auditioned as a solo candidate for the seventh series of The X Factor, performing "So Sick", and was sent to boot camp where he sang "Champagne Supernova". He failed to qualify for the "Boys" category and so was put in One Direction. Horan plays guitar since his childhood, and is also a jumper besides being a singer.

Known for his big heart and caring personality, Liam Payne is named daddy direction of the band. Liam James Payne was born on the 29th of August, 1993 in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England, making him 18 now. He was a music technology student at City of Wolverhampton College. Payne first auditioned in 2008 to The X Factor's fifth series when he was fourteen. He made it to the judges' houses, but Simon Cowell thought he was not ready for the competition and asked him to come back in two years. In 2010, Payne returned and auditioned with "Cry Me a River", receiving a standing ovation from the audience and Cowell. At bootcamp, he sang "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" before being rejected and put into One Direction. Liam is currently dating Danielle Peazer, a dancer, whom he met on The Xfactor and is in a relationship with her since then.

Known for being fond of mirrors, Zain "Zayn" Malik is called vain. He was born on the 12th of January, 1993 in West Lane, Bradford, England making him 19 now. Zayn Jawaad Malik is the only Muslim member of the band Malik was a pupil at Lower Fields Primary School in East Bowling and went to Tong High School, a state comprehensive school. In 2010, Malik auditioned as a solo candidate for the seventh series of The X Factor. At bootcamp Malik failed to qualify for the "Boys" category and was put in One Direction. Zayns famous words Vas Happenin is what the magazines name was referred to. Malik is rumored to be dating Little Mixs Perrie Edwards; however the rumors are not yet confirmed by either of them.

His sense of humor and style of clothing is what makes Louis Tomlinson special between his mates. Louis William Tomlinson was born on the 24th of December 1991, currently 2o, making him the eldest member in the band. He is from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. As a student at Hall Cross, Tomlinson starred in several musical productions. In 2010, Tomlinson auditioned as a solo candidate for the seventh series of The X Factor. Tomlinson auditioned with the song "Hey There Delilah", receiving votes from all three judges. At bootcamp, he sang "Make You Feel My Love" before being rejected and put into One Direction. Due to his friendship with Styles, they are referred to as the "Larry Stylinson" by fans. Tomlinson is currently in a relationship with Hollister model and Manchester University student Eleanor Calder.
